In this episode, Angelica dives into the history, symbolism, and spiritual meaning of the Vernal Equinox—what modern pagans call Ostara. This seasonal threshold marks the moment of equal day and night, a powerful point of balance as we shift fully into the light half of the year.Together, we explore how this time of year has been honored across cultures—from the Germanic goddess Eostre to Christian Easter, Jewish Passover, and Hindu Holi—all reflecting a shared theme of rebirth, renewal, and the return of life.Angelica also shares why she personally works with the Wheel of the Year (even outside of strict religious structure), and how aligning with Earth's cycles can reconnect us to something ancient, embodied, and real. This is a season of emergence. Of beginning again. Of planting seeds—both literal and energetic.Whether you celebrate Ostara, Easter, or simply feel the shift in the air—this episode is an invitation to honor what is awakening within you.Angie mentions the books on working with your menstrual cycle: Wild Power: Discover the Magic of Your Menstrual Cycle and Awaken the Feminine Path to Power by Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer & Alexandra Pope Yoni Shakti: A woman's guide to power and freedom through yoga and tantra by Uma Dinsmore-Tuli & Nirlipta Tuli

This week marks one of the most significant energetic shifts of 2026. As we navigate the final push of Pisces season, we transition from the deep, watery release of the "Year of the Hermit" into the fiery, action-oriented "Year of the Wheel of Fortune." It is a week of profound endings, sacred endings, and the official start of the Astrological New Year. Weekly Highlights The Big Shift: We move from the foggy, psychic depths of Pisces into the bold ignition of Aries and the Spring Equinox and Ostara. Mercury Stations Direct: The internal review ends; outer expression and action begin (though clarity may still "float" until April). The Wheel of the Year: 2026 reduces to a 10—The Wheel of Fortune in the Tarot. We move from isolation to co-creation with fate and free will. Final Call: Registration for Mentoring Lite closes Monday at midnight EST. Daily Flow Monday, March 16: The Great Shuffle The planetary count is heavy on Fire and Water. While the deck has been shuffled the human brain may still cling to old narratives of safety. Stay on the mat and trust your body over your anxious thoughts. Confusion is still a part of this week. It will eventually clear, around April 3rd. Tuesday, March 17: Vision & Tarot Watch your New Moon Tarot Reading in the member library on UnicornWellnessStudio.com. This lunation is the ultimate cleanse of 2025. Wednesday, March 18: New Moon in Pisces A day for replenishment. Cancel plans, nap, and meditate. This is the moment to leave outdated baggage in 2025 so you don't carry it into the new cycle. Practice: Day 1 of Fresh New Moon #2 (No props). Thursday, March 19: Community & Momentum Aries season is the best time to initiate a movement practice. Share your Pilates practice progress in the private community! Friday, March 20: Spring Equinox & Astrological New Year Happy Ostara! The Sun enters Aries, officially starting 2026. Ritual: Spring clean your space, blow cinnamon through your doorway, and burn white candles. Reflection: What pleasure would make all the hardship of the last year worth it? Mentoring: The first Artemis reading publishes. Trust the to-do list provided. Saturday, March 21: Standing Power As we find our footing in Aries season, we move into active strength. Practice: Day 1 of Standing Fresh. Community: Voxer group opens for Mentoring Lite—witness the power of collective energetic resources. Sunday, March 22: Weekly Mantra "I let go of all old baggage. I release old paradigms and false narratives. I am no longer in love with potential—I build toward real results. I begin, again, as a truly clean slate." This Week's "To-Do" List: Move: Get on the mat 4x this week. Watch: New Moon Tarot Reading & Pisces Basics. Heal: Invest in energetic healing (tapping, reiki, or shaking). Register: Last chance for Mentoring Lite (Ends Monday night). Kim Costa, a top 5% Realtor with Atlanta Fine Homes & Sotheby's International Realty and creator of the Wheel House Method, shares how to use a Wheel-of-Life approach to decide whether to stay, go, or renovate in retirement. You'll hear why “home” is more than square footage, how life changes create a “void” your current space may no longer fill, and how to make choices that support enjoyment and personal growth in your next chapter. What we coverWhy retirement is a “third life,” not an endingThe Wheelhouse Method: using eight life areas to clarify what's working and what isn'tHow life changes (empty nest, health shifts, career ending, family moving) can make a once-perfect home stop fittingDownsizing options: lock-and-leave living, reducing maintenance, and freeing up equityPractical ways to stay put: “shut down” unused floors, adjust thermostats, and reduce cleaning/expensesRepurposing rooms for who you are now (hobbies, writing, yoga, podcasting)The most neglected area on the wheel: spirituality (connection to nature, grounding, sunlight)Avoiding “should” decisions (e.g., moving somewhere because it's what people do)Try-it-first strategies: house-sitting, seasonal stays, and inviting family to test a destination homeBiggest regret drivers: moving too fast, not thinking it through, and market pressureKey takeawaysYour home should match your current life stage. What worked at 25 may not work at 60.Fix the pain point—but don't create a new problem. Consider health care access, finances, and connection before you leap.Enjoyment is allowed. Old stuff! Told'ja there were leftovers from 2025 lying around in the Garagosphere... This gem from July was special because we got about 10 years of hate off the collective gearhead chest about bad P.S.A. ads that make you wish any car guy had been a part of any of the production. On the plus side, now we know what to look out for (patronizing betaboys and their bullygirl narrators). There's better bits to be had, like a trucker from New York City (see, there's still good things there) who built a 1500 sq-ft balsa replica of the city (because why not, or perhaps because X-Acto Knife), plus the selfsame city's plans to spend $2,000,000,000 to REMOVE 300K parking spots (because what, what?) while its parking garages do their best impression of a Denny's pancake breakfast. There's also the tale of unscheduled monster truck disassembly mid-show (and the cars the parts landed upon). Back to the warnings: Raiders, Dredd, Snatch, Urban and Reeves, Animal House, Jenny in Japan, any PR ≠ good PR, '80s Fleppard, old Subaru Foresters, the soundtrack rule, foreign coverage of domestic stories, and the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack.

A flock of birds joined our drum circle inside a sea cave on the Cornish coast. What they unlocked in ten minutes had taken one woman years to carry alone. In this seventh episode of The Soul's Eight Thresholds of Transformation, Nina Hirlaender OFS guides you through Samhain, the Celtic threshold of shadow — the sacred season when the soul stops moving forward and turns inward to meet its own unfinished stories. Through the extraordinary acoustics of Merlin's Cave at Tintagel and the contemplative wisdom of John of the Cross, Nina explores what becomes possible when you stop avoiding the dark and discover that shadow met with compassion becomes your deepest wisdom. What You'll Learn:The 5 unmistakable signs your soul is asking for the Samhain threshold — and why each one is an invitation, not a warningWhat happened when rock doves joined our drumming circle in Merlin's Cave — and the reconciliation it unlocked for a woman carrying years of unfinished griefWhat John of the Cross actually meant by "the dark night of the soul" — and why it's far more hopeful than popular culture suggestsA five-minute embodied practice for meeting shadow with self-compassion instead of avoidance or dramaYour Next Steps:SOLD OUT! Spring is here… but what, and when, exactly are we celebrating? In this episode of Back on the Broomstick, Laylla and Chelle take a deep look at the sometimes confusing relationship between Ostara and the Spring Equinox. Are they the same holiday? Two separate observances? Or two different ways of looking at the same turning of the Wheel?Chelle believes the Spring Equinox should be honored as a moment of balance, when light and dark stand in perfect equality. For her, it is a sacred astronomical turning point that invites reflection and grounding. Ostara, by contrast, represents the broader season of spring that unfolds afterward; the weeks when the earth fully awakens, flowers emerge, and life visibly returns. By separating the two, she creates space to honor both the stillness of balance and the joyful momentum of the growing season.Laylla brings the Wheel of the Year perspective, arguing that modern paganism intentionally weaves solar events and seasonal shifts together into a living spiritual rhythm rather than treating them as completely separate observances. In her view, the Spring Equinox acts as the doorway between seasons, its a liminal threshold where winter releases its hold and the growing year begins. Because the Equinox is a precise celestial moment experienced across the entire planet, she sees it as a powerful communal touchpoint, a shared sky-event that pagans everywhere can honor together. From there, the spirit of Ostara unfolds as the season itself in the gradual greening of the land, the returning birds, and the first flowers that appear at different times depending on where you live. In this way, the Equinox becomes the moment we step through the doorway together, while the weeks that follow invite us to celebrate the unique way spring arrives in our own local landscapes.Rather than a debate about who is “right,” the witches explore two powerful ways of working with the magic of spring: honoring the Equinox as the precise celestial turning point that brings the community together, while embracing the unfolding signs of spring; the first flowers, the returning birds, the thawing earth, as personal and local rituals that deepen our connection to the land.Along the way, Laylla and Chelle share how they personally celebrate the return of the light with simple seasonal practices. Laylla also shares an Equinox tarot spread designed to help you find balance between light and shadow at the turning point of the year.If you've ever wondered how history, modern witchcraft, and lived seasonal magic all fit together, this conversation offers thoughtful perspectives, practical inspiration, and a reminder that the turning of the Wheel is something we feel in our bones as much as we mark it on the calendar. So grab a cup of tea, step outside into the changing air, and join us as we explore the magic of Ostara and the sacred moment when light and dark meet in perfect balance.Got a question? What's the best part of podcasting… and what's the part nobody warns you about? Today, we explore the highs and lows that come with running a podcast. This ranges from hosting meaningful conversations to frustrations that show up behind the scenes. You'll hear stories about common mistakes, the pressure around monetization, the grind of promotion, and the many moving parts that go into producing a show. At the same time, the conversation highlights why so many creators keep showing up behind the mic: the relationships, the growth, and the impact their content can have over time. Reach out and touch us: shiftlesslive@gmail.comThe hosts record at Dusty Roads after heavy rain makes local trails uncertain, while one describes being busy with home projects and planning a curing room for salamis, cheeses, and preserving food for future dinners and grazing tables. They discuss scheduling March and April dinner events and a possible Easter-week scouting trip to California. One recounts riding San Diego's Coast-to-Crest Trail, destroying a tubeless tire from suspected trail debris, and outfitting a Trek Tributary e-bike with chunkier tires; they troubleshoot a nonworking Bosch display likely due to a coin battery. Conversation shifts to rumors of higher-power DJI motors, demand for longer-range and modular-battery e-bikes, and concerns about e-bike regulations. They also cover 32-inch wheel speculation (including a rumored titanium Salsa Fargo rework), Sea Otter/Taipei/Tour Divide expectations, a new Kona drop-bar MTB, Revel rehiring Chris Riel, import trends, and brief Valley of Tears results discussion.00:00 Are We Recording01:03 Back at Dusty Roads01:54 Home Projects Overload02:45 Curing Room Dream04:54 Paula and Bikes07:34 April Dates and Travel09:19 Coast to Crest Flat12:13 New Tires and Display15:54 California Van Plan18:18 DJI Motor Rumors22:53 Swappable Battery Wish26:10 Fargo Goes 3232:15 Surly Builds and KM37:17 Revel Brings Back Chris38:36 Revel Ride Plans39:00 Ebike Imports Surge39:56 Made in USA Debate42:02 Kona Drop Bar MTB44:21 N Plus One Wishlist46:30 Next Gen Ebike Tech48:42 Ebikes Rules Enforcement52:23 Trail Impact Reality54:49 Forum Culture Echoes57:22 Who Buys Ebikes01:06:05 Valley of Tears Check01:12:54 Gear Dates Rumors01:14:23 Trinity Trio Plans01:17:22 Wrap Up and Share

In this episode of 10X Growth Strategies, host Preethy Padmanabhan sits down with Dr.Vivek Mansingh — technologist, entrepreneur, author, and former Silicon Valley leader — to unpack what meaningful success truly looks like beyond titles, money, and conventional achievement. Drawing from a career that spans Silicon Valley, Bengaluru, startups, and leadership roles alongside icons such as Steve Jobs, John Chambers, and Michael Dell, Dr. Vivek reflects on the principles that shaped his journey — from aspiring big and becoming number one in his field, to understanding why professional success alone is never enough. The conversation centers around ideas from his award-winning book Achieving Meaningful Success, where he introduces frameworks such as the “Wheel of Goals” and the importance of balancing professional ambition with health, relationships, spirituality, and inner growth. Through personal stories, he explains how some of life's most defining decisions came not from career milestones, but from choosing family, purpose, and long-term fulfillment. The episode also explores the power of mentors, books, role models, and lifelong learning — including lessons drawn from leaders such as Ratan Tata, N. R. Narayana Murthy, Rahul Dravid, and John Chambers, all featured in Dr. Vivek's interviews on excellence, leadership, and grounded success. A thoughtful conversation for anyone trying to build ambition without losing balance — and success without regret. ⸻ 00:00 – Introduction & Dr. Vivek's Career Journey 02:00 – From India to Silicon Valley 05:00 – What “Meaningful Success” Really Means 08:30 – The Wheel of Goals: Beyond Career Alone 11:00 – Mentors, Role Models & Becoming Your Best Self 16:30 – Books, Learning & Continuous Growth 19:00 – Thinking Big: Setting Bold Goals 23:00 – Steve Jobs, Excellence & Professional Achievement 25:00 – Family, Relationships & Life Priorities 30:30 – Why Goals Matter in Life 31:30 – Lessons from Extraordinary Leaders 34:30 – Book Awards, Giving Back & Final Advice 37:00 – Closing Thoughts

And so the end begins. There are many turnings to the Wheel of Time, with many beginnings. This is "a" beginning! Very bittersweet for us as we embark on the final book of the Wheel of Time! Enjoy!
Dan & Manny put the 1993 Pauly Shore classic Son in Law to the ultimate test—THE NOSTALGIA TEST! “This whole movie, all of Son in Law, all of [Pauly Shore's] f***ing dialogue is just gibberish. It's just gibberish the whole time, and I'm just like, how can this be a film?” -Dan Dissinger Dan & Manny are without their longtime friend and cohost Billy to try and solve the pop-culture mystery that is Pauly Shore's 90s fame. How did it happen? Why did it happen? Are we to blame for all his movies? These are the types of questions the guys try to figure out while literally avoiding talking about Son in Law. In fact, there are so many tangents in this episode that it should be called “181. Trips to Ithaca, Gravity Bongs, & Other Fragmented Memories.” Dan & Manny talk about the absolute gibberish of Pauly Shore's dialogue, the unanswered for crimes in this movie, Tiffani Thiessen, and the mom in Son in Law just on the prowl for the “D.” So, grab some “grindage,” your best “buuuuuudddiiies,” and get ready for some “cheek chillers,” because this episode might not even be a podcast, it's an event.
