We're back, from a few month long hiatus, with an exciting new episode highlighting the powerful work of Bill Purnell with @cold_water_transformations. In early 2020, at 58 years old, amid the global pandemic, Bill found himself laid off from his job, scared, overweight, and unsure what to do next.  He was drawn to the cold water, and through that exposure and journey has completely reshaped his body, his mindset, and his outlook on life.  Now at 59, he's thriving in his business and personal life, he got rid of 35 lbs and has a zest for life that is immediately recognizable the minute he starts talking.  I really enjoyed speaking with Bill and learning about his journey.  Excited to share it with you all, and encourage anyone struggling to look up Bill (@cold_water_transformations) and see if "embracing the cold" can help you.  Welcome back to the show. Enjoy! This week Jared Shaw joined 'the PMA path' podcast to talk about recovery, sobriety and building an authentic brand.  Jared is the founder and creator of RECOVERY STRONG, a lifestyle and apparel brand focused on the emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of people going through recovery, and dealing with addiction and mental health challenges.  Jared started Recovery Strong shortly after getting sober himself and wanted to give something back to the recovery community.  Since then, his journey has included numerous physical and mental challenges, supporting and giving back his community and striving to maintain his sobriety, and continue down the path to recovery.  Jared and I connected a few years ago through social media and his brand, but this conversation felt more like talking with an old friend than a 'stranger'.  He is very humble and  relatable and shares his story and journey with a humility and grace.  I think you'll appreciate his candor and enjoy this episode.  As always, thanks for listening!
