After a long hiatus, The Outlaws are back! After announcing that the show is now airing on afternoon drive on WOVU 95.9 FM, the team discusses the latest developments in the Sean "Diddy" Combs trial, Vivek Ramaswamy currently not having a primary challenger and more.
In this powerful episode, we dive deep into the nature of the “opponent” — the ego-driven force within us that perpetuates selfishness, pain, and separation. The core message revolves around how this opponent continuously pushes us into patterns of egocentricity, fear, doubt, jealousy, and suffering, keeping us trapped in a cycle of repeated pain and ignorance. But the good news? The Source has already given us a way to rise above this force and reclaim the pure consciousness and everlasting happiness that was originally ours. The episode breaks down four crucial ways the Source empowers us to overcome the opponent:First, we are able to feel potential pain without having to experience the full blow of actual pain. This is the mercy built into the game — a protective measure allowing us to confront challenges without being destroyed by them.Second, we can let the ego take the hit instead of the soul taking the hit. The ego is a false self, a mask crafted by the opponent to keep us trapped in selfishness and suffering. By allowing the ego to suffer and absorb the pain, the soul remains unharmed and free to move toward greater awareness and freedom.Third, the game asks us to choose short-term pain over long-term suffering. This is the essence of renouncing selfishness. Though letting go of ego-driven desires hurts — and it hurts deeply — this initial pain is a shortcut to breaking free from the cycle of long-lasting pain, disease, emotional turmoil, and repeated lifetimes of suffering.Fourth, constant awareness of the pain and its purpose is essential. Recognizing that the pain inflicted by the opponent is a signal, a challenge designed to lead us toward greater consciousness, helps us endure and even welcome the discomfort. This awareness transforms pain from an enemy into a guide. The episode further unpacks how selfishness is not simply a human flaw but the opponent's primary tool, disguised under countless expressions like jealousy, anger, fear, and doubt. It's the force behind every global and personal problem — poverty, disease, environmental destruction — reflecting the collective ego's effect on the world.Yet, the opponent isn't an evil entity but rather a force working for the Source's ultimate purpose: to push us to grow and earn our way back to pure consciousness — a state of love, abundance, and joy. It's a challenging journey, often taking lifetimes, but one worth every struggle. The episode closes with a call to brothers everywhere to renounce selfishness, embrace selflessness, and face the ego's challenges head-on. To welcome humiliation, embarrassment, and the “death” of the false self as the path to true freedom. To understand that the external world is a mirror of our inner state and that miracles happen when we overcome our ego-driven nature. In embracing this truth, we find the power to break free from the opponent's grip and elevate our alpha — our pure consciousness — toward the happiness and peace that awaits us beyond the game.
In our second hour, we continue to discuss last night's fatal shooting in D.C. -- and we welcome Tom Barbour in studio, where he discusses his campaign for Richmond Commonwealth's Attorney.
Our “face to face conversations with Americans” continues this week with a group of folks sitting around a kitchen table in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. How divided are we? I asked Harris voters why people voted for Trump. I asked Trump voters why people voted for Harris. I asked them all to put the best reasons forward. They all struggled with it. We lack understanding these days. We really do. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this multi-part episode, we go deep into the game of life — not as it appears on the surface, but as it truly is in the unseen world of consciousness, energy, and soul design. This isn't about philosophy or religion. It's about remembering. It's about returning. It's about rising. In Part 1, we begin with the “who” — who you truly are beneath the illusions. You are not the body. You are not your thoughts. You are not your beta condition. You are the vessel designed to receive and radiate endless energy. You are the alpha state, the spark of the Source, sent here not to suffer but to succeed — to remember your divinity, to overcome the illusion of separation, and to return home with more than you left with.In Part 2, we dive into the “why” — why you came here. We explore the divine intention behind your descent into this realm of contrast and duality. You didn't fall by accident; you came to transform lack into abundance, pain into power, and illusion into truth. You came to earn what was once given freely — to become a creator like the Creator. And we introduce the key player in this journey: the opponent, the force that appears negative but ultimately serves your elevation. In Part 3, we explore the “how” — how the fall happened, how the opponent infiltrated the vessel, and how low self-worth became the greatest lie ever told. Through metaphor and story, we uncover how temptation lured us into short-term pleasure, how shame disconnected us from the Source, and how the ego — the voice of the opponent — became the dominant operating system for humanity. But this isn't a story of defeat. It's the beginning of the awakening. This episode sets the stage for learning how to play the game — to know the rules, develop your strategy, and practice with purpose. Because when you do, brother, you win. And when you win, you earn the energy, the light, the love that has always been yours.Next week, we go deeper into the opponent's use of pain — and how to transcend it.
