Jordan D. Hill joins to discuss the Georgia Bulldogs, followed by Chris Lee previewing Vanderbilt.
On this edition of Political Breakfast, the team discusses how billionaire businessman and Georgia GOP gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson signed a new contract to provide healthcare services to workers with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health. Much of Jackson's fortune comes from the company he owns: Jackson Healthcare. The trouble is, Jackson said he would shy away from conducting health business in Georgia if elected. This new contract would expire six months AFTER a new governor takes office. Republican strategist Brian Robinson, who advises the Rick Jackson campaign, Democratic strategist Anre Washington and host Lisa Rayam sort through all the implications. Plus, U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff went on the attack at a rally in Atlanta over the weekend, and continued to call out his opponent, GOP U.S. Representative Mike Collins, for his alleged ties to white supremacists.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The political world gasped once again as news broke from the New York Times' Maggie Haberman that Trump has been telling anyone who will listen that he's getting reinstated as President and has become obsessed to the point of insanity on these voter audits in Arizona and Georgia which he believes will show that he won the election. Elsewhere, QAnon threw a Memorial Day bash in Dallas that saw former trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn advocating for a Myanmar style coup in the United States while Sidney Powell unleashed a torrent of bullshit around Trump's presidential reinstatement. Finally, Michael sits down with Phil Arballo who came with in a few percentage points of unseating Devin Nunes in the 2020 election. He joins Mea Culpa to discuss how he'll win the midterm election, what's at stake for this country if the democrats lose the House and where the GOP is most vulnerable. Henry Sokolski notes Senator John Kennedy has emerged as a dogged opponent of granting Saudi Arabia enrichment authority, labeling it a "bad idea." The agreement will automatically go into force within 90 legislative days unless Congress passes a veto-proof resolution against it. Kennedy's vocal stance may rally other senators to stop the package, potentially forcing the White House to renegotiate the deal to prevent spreading dangerous nuclear capabilities. It's impossible to think I'd ever lead with the WNBA on this podcast but dueling scandals that should be rocking the league are a mere pimple on their butt because they are spoiled rotten and have liberal privilege. Ann Marie Carrizales survived childhood trauma, sexual assault, two officer-involved shootings, and a career in law enforcement. But as she explains in this episode, the hardest battle wasn't the one she faced on the street—it was the one she faced after she made it home. In this powerful conversation, Ann Marie shares the concept behind The Fight After the Fight and why so many first responders, military members, and high performers are trained to survive dangerous situations but never taught how to navigate the emotional, mental, and physiological toll that follows. We discuss the warning signs of unresolved stress, why sleep disruption, irritability, loss of libido, and chronic anxiety often go unnoticed, and how the very traits that keep first responders alive on duty can become destructive at home. Ann Marie also opens up about surviving trauma, the lessons she learned from being ambushed and shot in the line of duty, the role faith and therapy played in her recovery, why nobody is immune to the hidden toll of service, and what she wishes someone would have told her when she first put on the uniform. This is a conversation about resilience, self-awareness, healing, and preparing for the fight that comes after the fight.

Lindsey Graham has spent decades mastering one political skill above all others: survival. In this conversation, part of the Save America Movement ”Fighting Democrats” series, Steve Schmidt sits down with Dr. Annie Andrews — a paediatrician, mother, and Democratic candidate for the United States Senate — to discuss why she believes that era can finally come to an end. We explore Graham’s political evolution, the exhaustion many South Carolinians feel with performative politics, and why this race is shaping up to be one of the most consequential Senate contests of 2026. If you’re interested in understanding where the fight for the Senate will be won or lost — and in meeting one of the candidates seeking to reshape that battlefield — you won’t want to miss this discussion. It’s a thoughtful, substantive conversation about leadership, accountability, and why South Carolina may be one of the most important political stories in America over the next 16 months. Did your opponent use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or another AI tool while preparing for litigation? In this video, Rebecca Zung, The Leverage Lawyer, explains how AI chat history could become discoverable evidence in court and what that means for high-conflict litigation, divorce, custody disputes, and civil cases. Learn how recent legal rulings may allow attorneys to subpoena AI conversations, what kinds of AI prompts can damage credibility, the four-step framework for introducing AI chats into evidence, and how to strategically work with your lawyer to uncover critical digital evidence. If you're involved in a lawsuit or negotiating against a narcissist or high-conflict opponent, this episode reveals how artificial intelligence is changing legal discovery and courtroom strategy.
Professor William Taubman, guest author, reveals that by 1966, McNamara was a secret opponent of the war, admitting to aides that he desperately wanted to bring the troops home, yet he remained the public face of the conflict out of loyalty to the presidency. He faced intense student protests at Harvard and was profoundly shaken by a Quaker's self-immolation outside his window, leading to a period of intense internal conflict. Despite his public defense of the Pentagon, he later claimed that if he had led the anti-war demonstrations, he would have successfully shut the building down. McNamara at War: A New History (7)
