September 4th I started my first attempt at running 100 miles. 28 hours,51 minutes, 10,000 feet of elevation gain, one stress fracture, and a 6 hour rainstorm later….I finished. I really tried to make this video short but there's too much to sum this up in 15-20 minutes. Especially since this is my first one, I wanted to hit all the details for something to look back on. Thank you to everyone for the kind messages and encouragement before and after the race. To end with, the Tuscazoar 100 is an incredible race run by amazing people and volunteers. Beautiful race ran well from start to finish and I really recommend this to any ultra runners out there looking for their next challenge.

I ran my first ultra marathon (running with my gnomies 50k) two weeks ago at camp tuscazoar) I went through the full spectrum of experience from wet feet to bonking around mile 25. A lot of doubt and negative thought loops occurred in this process but it was an incredibly gratifying experience and I wanted to share the story. He came from a good but tough immigrant family who taught him the foundation of living a purpose filled life. He's lived an interesting life that's given him a great perspective on what it means to find meaning in this human experience and I loved this conversation.
