After a short break from pod action, we're back - Jamie is in the chair, and is joined by County blogger Mark Vickery to garner their insights on defeats to Cheltenham (H) and Doncaster (a). They discuss the need for a bit more anger from this team, Kyle Jameson's many second chances, and a possible lack of leadership. With big games coming up against the likes of Gillingham, Accrington and Harrogate, how can County address their growing list of weaknesses? As always, you can contact us through your social media platform of choice to give any feedback or ask any questions for future episodes. We remain grateful to the Riverside Sports Bar (the home of Welsh sports fans) for their valued support for the pod, and to Tinty & The Bucket Hats for letting us use Discoland as our theme tune. Hitting a wall is not an if, but when. We all have this experience, typically several times throughout our lives. Suddenly, the ways that we learned to cope with childhood wounds and unmet needs begin begin to fail us in adulthood. Unhealthy coping patterns catch up with us. Our souls often begin summoning us to a deeper, inner change through emotional or physical symptoms like panic, anxiety, depression, anger, a continual sense of low-grade agitation, addictions, or other dysfunctional attempts to numb our pain. We feel stuck. We want to change, but we don't know how. It's here, where God longs to meet us, opening our eyes to see the truth of ourselves, our stories, and who he's created us to be. In this episode, I offer common signs that you might be hitting the wall, and I also talk about how to begin opening ourselves to God to bring transformation into the deepest parts of ourselves. This is a short follow-up to the "Hitting The Wall" episode about life and the obstacles we often face to progress and improvement.

How do you approach these walls, these hindrances to progress? What are they really, and are they even "bad"? This subject is such a real part of what it means to be human, that I think I'll follow it up with a part 2. Maybe even today. IDK.

Buckle up, as this will be an emotional episode. I'm going to engage in a great deal of storytelling today because I'm in the midst of some things, and I find that storytelling helps me comprehend why certain things are occurring in my life at this time. I also want to do this podcast to teach you that no matter what happens in your life, it doesn't mean that your life comes to a stop; if you feel like you're about to crash, it means you need to accelerate. One of the things I've noticed from folks as I've been doing these intuitive life plan sessions is how much potential there is out there and how much people sit on their talent because their lives are always busy. They're waiting until their problem is resolved, or until they feel better, or until they're healed, or until they have more time, or whatever reasons people have. And, yes, I'm calling it an excuse. What they're doing is delaying their objective. They've been given all these gifts meant for a greater purpose, and 'excuses' shouldn't be a reason to delay or stop your journey to the destiny you were meant to be. People sit on it and wait for things to get better, but by doing that, they are wasting their time and opportunities. And this is probably one of the conversations I'm going to stop having because I feel like I'm begging them to get moving. People need to realize that I am not deciding their lives for them; they have to help themselves too. Therefore, there will be a plethora of unfiltered moments today because I want to share what's going on with me so that you may recognize that you are not alone. It's not just you. I hope that sharing my experience will encourage you not to allow anyone to extinguish your flame so that you can continue to pursue your goal, not allowing your setbacks to prevent you from reaching your desired destination. I'm helping powerful people daily shift their humdrum life from finger-tapping boring to exciting experiences deeply rooted in their hearts and soul. If you are ready to get out of the box of your life. Engage intuitive tools, elevating your life and business. One thing he always noticed on the course with pros and amateurs is that when they don't hydrate or keep their blood sugar levels in check they tend to make poor decisions. We usually blame it on “hitting the wall” or “wheels falling off”. His recognition of this common dilemma lead him to create a product directed at golfers of all skill levels called Sharp Focus Nutrition. They also selected Golf Smarter, because of our interest in helping recreational golfers, to become a sponsor for the next few episodes.
