We. Are. BACK!After more than a year away (2020, what a mess right?), the Walking on Water Podcast is back! This episode was recorded late last year and now you get to hear it. This is the 2nd part of Kate's interview of me (Ryan). As we delve into Bipolar Depression, Dating, and all things Faith related. This episode turns the mics around on me and lets me be grilled on my own life story, instead of peeling back the curtain on someone else. There are some harsh truths in this episode, so be prepared.  The audio was somewhat disheveled in some portions, so sorry about that.

Walking on Water Podcast: Lauren Srodka and Gilda's Club of Middle Tennessee

On this episode of the WoWP, its with absolute pleasure that I welcome a dear friend of mine, Lauren Srodka. While we usually spend these podcasts diving into a person, their struggles, their faith, and so on; this episode is going to be slightly different. Lauren works for a wonderful, and I mean wonderful, organization called Gilda's Club of Middle Tennessee. (https://www.gildasclubmiddletn.org) This non profit organization's mission is to give emotional and mental support to those fighting cancer, or their families. What many people fail to realize is that cancer not only attacks the body, but it has effects on the mental and spiritual level as well. Whether its the person who is living with the disease or their family members, it takes a huge mental and spiritual toll on them. Gilda's Club was formed to give that mental and emotional support to those who need it. If you or anyone you know suffers from cancer, please listen to this episode as Lauren explains the mission, the purpose, and the work of Gilda's Club. It could be just what you or your loved one needs in this battle with such a difficult disease. While this show is focused on Gilda's Club and their mission, Lauren and me also have a few laughs. She's my most traveled friend, an amazing mother, and a supportive friend to me. The fact that she works for such an amazing organization only makes me respect her even more than I already do. So listen in, learn about Gilda's club and their mission and the hope they give. Also learn what Lauren has against Tom Hanks movies, why her life story includes Jason Aldean and Toby Keith, our love of Mustangs, motherhood, and bad drivers. Thank you for listening! Leave us those 5 star reviews and share (especially this episode) with the people you think it could benefit the most!God bless

For this episode of the Walking on Water Podcast, I'm honored to have Micah Lynn Hanson joining me. This is the first online interview so if you notice the audio sounds different, that's why for this episode. Micah is an actress who I met while she was living in Tennessee and she auditioned for my movie and we became friends. Along with Kate, Micah was one of the very first on my list of people I wanted on this podcast and I'm so glad we finally had an opening in our schedules to do this episode.Micah can be seen on the movies Overcomer, Like Arrows, Where is Good, among other productions. She is multitalented and I highly recommend you checking out her work soon, you won't be disappointed. The reason I wanted Micah on this show is because I wanted an actor initially, but I specifically wanted Micah because of her faith and how she lives that out loud. It doesn't take much reading into her social media accounts to see Micah has a heart for people, and that's because she has a heart for God and His will in her life. She details 1 story in this episode that will have you believing in miracles and that faith in God is worth everything in this life.We discuss the entertainment industry, advice Micah has for those interested in acting, and advice to young women everywhere. Along the way we discuss her faith, where she's coming from, what she wants to do, and how she wants God to guide her, even when the lessons are hard lessons.Thank you for downloading and listening to this episode. I hope you enjoy it, it makes you laugh, makes you think, and ultimately, it helps you grow your faith. My thanks to Micah for being such an amazing interview and I thank her for always being an inspiration to me and so many people. Remember, leave those 5* reviews, share, and subscribe to make sure you don't miss an episode of the WoWP. God blessRyan

On the episode today, I decided to do something a little different. On previous episodes, I've been the one asking questions and digging into people's lives. On this episode, the subject of the interview is me. How can I be someone taken seriously to ask people questions when so little is known about me or even why I started this podcast in the beginning. So for this and a future episode, the focus is on my life.I had to decide whether I wanted to just go solo and talk about myself, but then I remembered I really dislike talking about myself by myself. So, I called (well, text) a friend, a former guest, and someone that you all loved from her episode, Kate Puckett to interview me. I'm sure you're wondering, why Kate? Well, when going over my options the choice was pretty simple. Kate and I share a very good connection where we can just talk and talk about real and deep stuff. I trust her, I knew she would knock it out of the park, and I knew she wouldn't let me slide on anything.. Sounds like a great interviewer to me, am I right? So Kate is back and I want to thank her for being apart of this podcast once again.Thank you all for the many downloads! This is doing so much better than I expected starting out so I am very appreciative of that! Please keep downloading, subscribing, and sharing the podcast! This isn't done for monetary gains, everything has been paid for with my own money and I nor my guests are being financially compensated for our time. We all just have a desire to share our stories in hopes that it will help someone else who may be on the same type of journey. If you like this episode, stay tuned for part 2. Please leave a 5* review, those help more than you know. I plan to release episodes more regularly, so subscribe and you will automatically download every episode!Thank you and God bless!

Walking on Water Podcast from Wandering King ProductionsPart 2 of my interview with Collins. I encourage you if you haven't already to listen to part one before starting part 2. On this episode we get into at topic that has been the center of a lot of controversy the past couple of years when it comes to police in relation to the public. What her view point was as a daughter of a policeman, and how she feels about the perceptions being leveled against men and women on the force today. We discuss how Collins dad lived the life of a cop, but also of a father and husband. We talk about Collins music as well as how she views dating. How intimidating is it to date the daughter of a cop? She goes on to explain how that experience has been for her being the daughter of a cop, but also a Christian in the midst of it all.We also continue the discussion of Collins music and she lets God guide her in that aspect of her life as well.Of course, at the end, we have a little fun with the popular segment "3,000 Questions." Another addition to the show is to have the guests come with their favorite Bible verse, recite it, and to tell us why it means a lot to them. Please check out Collin's music wherever you get your music (she gives details on where to check out her music). Collins was such a pleasure to interview. Being that this is the first time we ever spoke, it was a great conversation and I wish her so much success in her music and life in general. Hopefully she'll be working with us again soon on different things. As always, be sure to like, share, and subscribe to this podcast.. wherever you get your podcast. Thank you to all our faithful listeners so far and all the amazing feedback you've given! Our next episode will feature something very different, and it will again be a 2 part episode because the length and depth of the interview. So keep an eye out for that episode when it drops. By far the most "controversial" and heavy episode recorded so far.God bless you all and thank you,Ryan

Welcome to the Walking on Water Podcast, brought to you by Wandering King Productions. Our special guest this week is Collins. Collins is a local singer/songwriter from the Middle Tennessee area. Collins is a former Yankee like myself and we discuss the differences between living in the South and the North, both the positives and negatives. We discuss what got her into music. We relive how she turned a negative event into her life, into a passion. We go into details on various subjects from hunting bears, unconventional piano learning, Southern and Northern faith, and everyone's favorite NFL team. This is part 1 of a 3 part interview with Collins.Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement thus far in the podcast. The only real complaint we received was about the almost 2 hour length of the first episode. So, we have decided to trim down episodes to a 30-45 minute window. Like with Collins, interviews that exceed that time will be broken up into smaller episodes. Part 2 of this interview will drop after Christmas, and part 3 will drop before the end of 2019.
