The Arthurian Canon is sacred to some people—so you know we’ve got a lot of jokes about it. We dive into the nitty gritty with special guest Christian Madera as we talk about why self-insert fanfiction is questionable, even in the Middle Ages; how OT3s can solve all problems; how freaky historians can get; and why “whiskey” is a word that transcends language. You can find Christian online at Once and Future Nerd, and on Twitter and Tumblr! The fabulous Professor E.R. Udite is on tumblr for your enjoyment, and you can learn more about Marion Zimmer Bradley here. Go big or go home, boys. So we went with one of the biggest albums, both sonically and in legacy, that has ever existed. Writer and director of The Once and Future Nerd (onceandfuturenerd.com) Christian Madera skypes in to help Bill and Brian tell you what makes Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run (1975, Columbia) so great. But seriously, do we really need to tell you? Just listen to that darn thing! A masterpiece. Unfortuantely, our recording didn't come out quite as flawless. There was a skype call drop that we couldn't quite cleanly edit out, so please forgive our minor production snafu. Now let's go murder some lions!

This week's bonus content is written by Ian Harkins. For today's bonus content, we are pleased to present an exclusive interview with wood sprite Ian Harkins, narrator of The Once and Future Nerd. In it, director Christian Madera learns many interesting things about sprite actors, and not a few disturbing things about himself. The Once and Future Nerd is independently produced.
