This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!There are places in the American Southwest where time doesn't just linger — it listens. Long before modern ghost hunting equipment and digital recorders, people sensed that certain locations held emotion so deeply that it refused to fade. Love, fury, betrayal, grief… these landscapes absorbed it all. And in those charged spaces, something seems willing — even eager — to speak back.In this episode of The Grave Talks, we explore the evolving frontier of spirit communication with guests Dan Baldwin, Rhonda Hull, and Dwight Hull, whose work in the Old Southwest challenges long-held assumptions about what is possible. Through their experiences, we step into desert towns, abandoned homesteads, and historic battlegrounds where the veil feels thin enough to touch.Whether through intuition, dowsing, or devices designed to capture the impossible, their encounters suggest that the dead do not always wait to be found — sometimes, they come looking for us. In this Retail Technology Spotlight series, Chris Walton sits down with Julian Sellan, Senior Supply Chain Engineer at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, and Nick Cianfarani, Senior Account Manager at Dematic, to explore one of the biggest questions facing supply chain leaders today: How do you decide when it's time to upgrade your logistics network and when is it smarter to start over? Through the lens of Southern Glazer's ongoing network transformation, Julian and Nick break down what goes into evaluating aging facilities, consolidating distribution centers, and designing an operation that can meet today's demand without becoming obsolete tomorrow. From modular pick modules and miles of conveyor to warehouse software that acts as the "brain" behind the operation, the conversation explores what it takes to build flexibility into a logistics network from day one. Julian and Nick also dig into the often overlooked human side of automation, including why standardization, employee buy-in, knowledge transfer, and "hypercare" can make or break a successful go-live. And the results are already beginning to show, with Southern Glazer's Louisiana operation doubling throughput and reducing delivery frequency from five days a week to four. From deciding between retrofit and greenfield facilities to designing warehouses that can evolve alongside changing consumer demand, this episode offers a practical look inside what it really takes to modernize a logistics network without designing yourself into the next problem. Key Topics Covered: 00:03:50 - Why Southern Glazer's began reevaluating its logistics network 00:05:46 - How to decide between upgrading an existing facility or building new 00:09:18 - Why consolidation can reduce complexity and unlock new efficiencies 00:11:09 - How to right-size a facility for today's demand and tomorrow's growth 00:14:14 - Inside the modular automation system designed for Southern Glazer's 00:19:57 - Why warehouse software is the "brain" behind automation 00:24:13 - Why software alignment needs to happen before the hardware goes in 00:25:18 - How standardization makes new facility rollouts easier over time 00:27:54 - The biggest watch-outs when designing and launching an automated facility 00:33:53 - Why "hypercare" and employee buy-in are critical to a successful go-live 00:35:35 - The results Southern Glazer's is already seeing from its new network 00:37:18 - How continuous partnership helps supply chain teams prepare for what's next Want to learn more about Southern Glazer's automation journey? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWOFor Adrienne Heart, intense emotion was a constant companion. She felt the moods of rooms, the energy of strangers, and the weight of emotions that didn't seem to belong to her. For years, she assumed everyone was simply wired the same way. But as she grew older, it became clear her sensitivity wasn't ordinary — it was something deeper.Adrienne eventually learned she was an empath, someone who absorbs and interprets emotional and energetic signatures from both the living and, at times, the dead. But her true awakening came the day she helped a friend guide a lingering spirit to the other side — an experience that opened abilities she never realized she possessed. In this classic episode of The Grave Talks, Adrienne shares her journey of embracing the empathic gift she once misunderstood, the challenges of separating her emotions from others, and what it means to feel the presence of those who have already passed on.#empath #adrienneheart #paranormalexperiences #thegravetalks #crossingspirits #psychicmedium #emotionalenergy #paranormalpodcast #spiritcommunication #sensitive #realghoststoriesLove real ghost stories? This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC!Hill House Manor is deceptively ordinary from the outside. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWOThe Brickhouse Inn in Gettysburg may look like a charming pair of historic homes—but beneath the quiet exterior lies unrest. In this episode, we talk with manager Hannah Hilty about the property's two very different structures: the 1830s Welty House, which witnessed the full force of the Battle of Gettysburg, and the Victorian home built decades later on the same property. The Welty House is still carrying the marks of musket fire on its walls. Families hid in its cellar as soldiers fought just outside, and the land behind it became a temporary resting place for more than 30 Confederate soldiers. Those layers of trauma and emotion seem to echo through the space even now.Inside both homes, unexplained activity continues to surface—bells that ring with no one near them, EVPs responding to questions, phantom footsteps, shifting furniture, and the unmistakable presence of figures tied to the property's past. Send us Fan MailThis episode has been a couple weeks in the making, but it's one that we're very excited to bring you, dear listeners. The question often arises to whether bourbon and wine cane pair together, and this week, I'm fortunate enough to be joined by MyDailyBourbon AKA Chad Watson to learn about those nuances and find out how we can actually make the perfect pairings happen. Plus, I wax poetic about the poet of food and culture himself, Anthony Bourdain, for an inordinate amount of time before realizing that I should've simply said that you should watch, read, and listen to his own words and understand that the man himself was irreplaceable and inimitable. This is truly one that shouldn't be missed or forgotten in the annals of TIMBP history. What happens when the dead seem to find a way to answer back? On this episode of Generation X Paranormal, Logan and Nicole sit down with paranormal investigator, researcher, author, and founder of Elk Valley Paranormal, Cyn Shrader Hill, for an unforgettable conversation about Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVPs), haunted locations, paranormal investigation, spirits, and signs from beyond. Cyn has spent years investigating paranormal activity and documenting EVPs, and she shares some of her most compelling experiences—including a deeply personal EVP connected to her nephew Wyatt. During the conversation, Cyn plays the recording and explains why she believes it was a personal message from someone she loved. We talk about what makes an EVP convincing, why investigators have to be careful about hearing what they expect to hear, and why some of the most compelling evidence can come from surprisingly simple recording equipment. Cyn also explains why your own senses may be one of the most important tools you have during a paranormal investigation. Cyn takes us inside some of her most memorable investigations, including an old hospital in Tennessee that she describes as one of the most haunted places she has ever encountered. She discusses unexplained activity, a mysterious "true orb," and something else moving through the location that investigators captured on video. We also explore: • The difference between compelling EVPs and questionable recordings • Paranormal investigation equipment and digital recorders • Why cell phones can sometimes capture extraordinary evidence • Spirits that communicate, joke, become irritated, or simply want investigators to leave • Paranormal experiences involving family members after death • Faith, grief, and the possibility of communication after death • Cyn's journey from paranormal investigator to author • Her books and years of paranormal research • Why investigators should move beyond the standard questions during an investigation • Some of the most unusual experiences Cyn has encountered throughout her career This is a conversation about evidence, experiences, grief, curiosity, and the possibility that death may not be the end of communication. Listen closely. Some of the most compelling moments in this episode aren't stories about paranormal activity—they're the moments when the unexplained seems to answer back. Gratsi's boxed-wine business began as a pandemic pivot. It became the foundation for one of the category's most notable growth stories. After selling more than 375K 9L case equivalents last year, the company expects to grow 30%+ this year to exceed 500K cases — driven by subscriptions, repeat purchases, and a carefully sequenced expansion into wholesale.Founder and CEO Stephen Vlahos originally launched Gratsi in a half-bottle format designed for casual bars and restaurants. When COVID shut down most of those accounts, he needed a product that could work DTC. Bag-in-box was lighter and less expensive to ship, while offering consumers wine that remained fresh for weeks after opening.Rather than persuading value-oriented boxed-wine drinkers to trade up, Gratsi targeted consumers accustomed to buying $20+ bottles. It reframed the box around quality, freshness, convenience, and value, then wrapped it in a simple, Mediterranean-inspired brand that strips away much of wine's traditional complexity. That DTC foundation is now giving Gratsi an unusual advantage in wholesale. Before entering a market, the company can identify existing customers, gather store requests, and activate local demand. Once wholesale launches, retail can quickly become roughly 80% of its volume in that state — even as DTC continues to grow.In this episode, we discuss:How Gratsi grew from 2K cases to 75K cases before entering wholesaleHow it built nearly 30,000 subscribers averaging approximately three boxes per monthHow DTC data helps “warm up” a retail market before launchWhy Gratsi is building geographic density instead of pursuing national distribution all at onceWhy its lifestyle content often barely features the productWhat Stephen means by “escape competition with authenticity”For drinks entrepreneurs, Gratsi offers a compelling playbook for using DTC not as the final destination, but as the foundation for much larger retail growth. For the latest updates, follow us:Business of Drinks website (sign up for our newsletter!)Business of Drinks YouTubeBusiness of Drinks LinkedInInstagram @bizofdrinksErica Duecy, co-host: Erica Duecy is founder and co-host of Business of Drinks and one of the drinks industry's most accomplished digital and content strategists. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC! PART TWOHill House Manor is deceptively ordinary from the outside. Built in the mid-1850s, its walls have held many identities—a private residence, a bordello, a speakeasy, and apartments—but its most enduring role is far more sinister: a paranormal hotspot. When Linda Hill acquired the manor in 2004, she was met with a troubling trend of tenants abruptly breaking their leases.Determined to uncover the truth, Linda opened the doors to paranormal investigators, revealing a tapestry of haunted histories and restless spirits that linger within its walls. From the chilling legend of the “Murder Room” to countless documented encounters, eerie tales of shadowy figures, and unsettling whispers that continue to haunt the house. What dark secrets lie beneath its floors? And who are the spirits that refuse to leave? Is the next stage of human evolution being engineered by extraterrestrial intelligences, or are millions of experiencers simply misinterpreting psychological phenomena? In this groundbreaking episode of the podcast, world renowned researcher and author Mary Rodwell steps forward to expose what mainstream science refuses to acknowledge. There is a massive genetic and consciousness leap occurring in our children today. Through decades of clinical regression therapy and direct case studies with thousands of experiencers globally, the ongoing research into Mary Rodwell starchildren and alien contact demonstrates that many of today's youth possess advanced intuitive abilities, telepathic communication skills, and unexplainable memories of past lives on other star systems. Are these gifted individuals who are often labeled with ADHD, Asperger's, or autism actually displaying the early neurological markers of multidimensional human evolution? We take a look at the controversial intersection of ufology, anomalous psychology, and spirituality. This discussion dismantles traditional fear based abduction narratives to present an empowering perspective showing that benevolent cosmic beings are actively interacting with humanity to assist in our planetary awakening. Throughout this comprehensive interview, you will discover the hidden science of non human intelligence interaction, the role of epigenetic activation, and why modern educational and medical systems routinely fail to understand these children.Whether you are a parent raising an extraordinary child, an experiencer searching for validation, or a seeker questioning the nature of our cosmic lineage, this episode provides profound validation and answers. What do rye whiskey, fruit brandy, and vinegar have in common? At one point, they were all made on the same kind of still. Todd Leopold, co-founder and owner of Leopold Bros, has spent years resurrecting that lost production method, including commissioning the first three-chamber still built since Prohibition. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! But over time, the stories surrounding it have shifted—from what happened on stage… to what may still be happening when the lights go out.Filmmaker Gavin Webb set out to explore those stories in a documentary focused on the opera house's long history and the experiences tied to it. This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE! PART TWOSome tragedies don't end when the history books say they do. World War II may be decades behind us, but its shadows stretch far beyond the pages of the past. Across Europe, the Pacific, and even quiet corners of home soil, there are places where the air still feels charged—where footsteps echo long after the boots that made them turned to dust.Witnesses report soldiers in full uniform moving silently through fog-soaked fields, medics rushing through empty hospital wards, and ghostly battalions marching in places untouched by modern life. Are these spirits trapped in the moments that defined their final breath? Are they following orders issued long ago? Or are they something else entirely—echoes, impressions, or remnants of trauma so immense it carved itself into the very foundation of the world? In this episode of The Grave Talks, we sit down with author Matthew L. Swayne to explore the paranormal scars left by WWII. Here he describes the relationship between the British spiritualist movement and the Anglican Church, beginning with a report commissioned by the Church in the 1930s. In 1967, the Episcopal Bishop of California, James Pike, publicly reported on his communications with his deceased son through the mediumship of Ena Twigg in London. Pike gave up his position as Bishop to pursue other studies, including after-death communication. Later, in a dramatic event, he became lost in the desert in Israel. After his death, but before his body was discovered, he appeared in spirit to Ena Twigg. When the mill was destroyed, the town lost more than its industry. Over time, residents moved on, buildings were left behind, and Henry River became something else entirely.Today, those who visit describe something that doesn't feel completely abandoned. Voices where no one is there. Movement in empty structures. The sense that something still lingers in a place that was never meant to be left behind. Is it simply the weight of history… or something that stayed when everything else was forced to leave?#TheGraveTalks #HenryRiver #HauntedTown #AbandonedPlaces #GhostTown #ParanormalPodcast #HauntedHistory #UrbanExploration #GhostStories #HauntedNorthCarolinaLove real ghost stories?
