TSORH #8 - Something That Never Happened to Someone Who Didn't Exist. It's Show 7 of the 12 show run and the start of maybe the trickiest weekend, with two shows full of tricky monologues and packed with ideas, but up first perhaps the sweetest of the all Richard's shows (apart from the bit where he imagines wanking off sex offenders), The Headmaster's Son. It's an emotional show for him and seems to have become moreso over the last seven years and he feels the least prepared for this performance, so can it go off with a bang and without actual tears? Audiophiles can hear an interesting backstage conversation about mono, but for the non-perverted listenership there's plenty of background about the show and the performance whether the 'tiny hands' routine should have been included. As well as the power of undercutting comedy with something serious or emotional. Plus the first, mildly shaky minutes of the show - you can buy the first 10 performances on audio (or the DVDs of the original shows) at http://www.gofasterstripe.com
For the eleventh time on the podcast, Karl & Will bring in 11 tracks each that the other hasn't heard. It's Show & Tell time! This time around, Will's tracks are mostly modern stuff, while Karl's are mostly old-school stuff. Also, Marty stops by for another installment of "Marty's Corner!" Enjoy some killer tunes! 05/18/14

It's Show #100 for the Betting Dork, Gill Alexander, and he celebrates by welcoming Pregame Pro Mike Hook for their weekly stab at trying to pinpoint what Week 3 NFL lines ought to be. The goal, as always: to uncover intrinsic value embedded in the actual lines, on Tuesday's Betting Dork (September 21, 2010)
It's Show 34, and we're doing a sort of revisit on a theme we did way back, a look at news stories that have flown mostly under the radar. These are events that we feel need more attention than what they're currently getting, if any at all. Censorship, sinister government, injustice, crazy astronauts, and letting everyone be Keanu Reeves...we've got it all baby! Opening Music: "Fire In The Sky" by Dave London
