What's up Bros? Welcome back to Miami. In this episode, we get to know Stephanie a bit more. The jury is still out but she is doing some positive things as she makes her entrance into the housewives world. Kiki continues to share more about her life which we are loving. Alexia meets with a life coach who specializes in narcissists. They plan a 'party' that sounds a little like an ambush. Guerdy and Julia couldn't be further from solving things and that is 100% on Julia. We still can't understand what her issue is with Guerdy and at this juncture it's raising a lot of questions. On the sprinter van, things get heated when Lisa arrives 2 hours late and as Stephanie said, her two biggest pet peeves are being late, and peepee talk. Learn more about your ad choices. Whats up Bros? In this episode we recap the baby challenge and then the recoupling that kicked the most real couple in the Villa. While this season has still been enjoyable, a lot of the issues arising bring up a lot of questions. Who is to blame for the strange turn this season has taken? You can obviously point to numerous mistakes by the cast, but a lot of the production choices are strange as well. We've enjoyed recapping this season immensely, dont get us wrong. But we have a lot of questions. Now in the final days of the Villa, we are left with multiple couples that we are not that invested in. Now if Amaya Papaya wins outright? We are fully on board. But we still have a couple questions about Bryan, and the other couples are sorta meh. Pepiris is intriguing but doesn't seem like that deep of a connection. Chelly and Ace have a lot of questions surrounding them and now with the Huda and Chris drama it's hard to know where they stand with the audience as a whole. This will be an interesting season as far as its impact on future seasons. We are enjoying it, but who is to blame for the different vibe this season? Learn more about your ad choices. We also talked about launching a lake house concierge business, touchless vacation rental SaaS tools, and even a boat and paddleboard rental monopoly that charges $95 a tube. What's up Bros? The Valley has corrected course somewhat and is back on the right track. Jax and Janet still need to get the boot, but we've enjoyed the last couple episodes. In this episode, Julia and Guerdy grow further apart. The more Julia tries to explain this thing, the more it looks like Julia is in the wrong. We get introduced to Stefanie Shojae on the PJ with Larsa. Marysol is concerned that Alexia is now lying and hanging out with Todd. Kiki continues to let us into her life more which we love. Lisa confronts the group about talking smack while she was at her dad's funeral. This is a bit of a different season than we're used to, but we are thoroughly enjoying it. This week, we start with Oasis and end in Silicon Valley, via Tír na nÓg. We're talking about the economics of not dying, and how tech billionaires are pouring billions into that dream. From Oasis belting Live Forever to Irish mythology's take on eternal youth, we ask: why are we so obsessed with dodging death? We explore the surreal story of Brian Johnson, the tech bro spending $2 million a year trying to reverse ageing. Vegan diet, 100 supplements a day, teenage blood transfusions… all in an effort to achieve his goal of slowing his biological clock by 7.5 months every year. Meanwhile, he's founded a Don't Die movement with Discord channels, Blueprint protocols, and longevity summits. We dig into the money behind it all: the anti-ageing industry is already worth $70 billion and is projected to hit $140 billion by 2034. Google's Calico Labs, Bezos's $3 billion bet on Altos Labs, and a biotech unicorn called Cambrian Bio (valued at $1.8 billion) are all racing to crack the longevity code. What kind of world are we building? Is this the new Tír na nÓg, a fantasy only for the rich? We imagine a world where ageing is optional… but only if you can afford it. Hosted on Acast. Dan Holloway is a Military Veteran and host of the @DrinkinBrosPodcast. In this episode, we talked about the geopolitical implications of our involvement in Iran, particularly concerning China's influence, Iran's nuclear ambitions., and how American soft power can prevent this from escalating into a larger conflict. We also discussed the absurdity of politicians acting like social media influencers, along with how big accounts on X are openly exploiting bot farms in order to boost their algorithm and manipulate the public into normalizing viewpoints that are utterly insane. Dan and I discussed how most Americans have grown disenfranchised with the American Dream and shared how improving our immigration policy, along with saving money in hard currencies (Gold and Bitcoin) will help reignite the culture and values that were once associated by all with living in the United States.Follow Dan Here: X; https://x.com/DanHollawayIG: https://www.instagram.com/danhollaway/Drinkin Bros: https://drinkinbros.com/Citizen X Podcast: https://x.com/citizenpodcast_?lang=en

What's up Bros? We apologize for the delay in getting this episode out, but that just means we have TWO miami episodes this week! In this episode, Julia and Guerdy continue to grow apart. It's hard to understand where Julia is coming from because it seems so cut and dry that Guerdy has done nothing wrong. Lisa finds out about the shade being thrown behind her back while she was at her dads funeral. Larsa introduces us to Stefanie Shojae while they are flying on a PJ. The jury is still out on her. Marysol's worries are getting worse as Alexia is now lying to spend time with Todd. Kiki lets us learn more about her and her relationship with her father. This has been a strange start to the season. It's still amazin TV, but much different roles than we are used to seeing. Was Dr Nicole the glue that held this group together? It's post-Fourth and the Bros are back of course with a recap of the Bros dive into a 4th of July weekend recap. They talk about fireworks and even some Patriotic backlash that surrounded the holiday this year. They talk about the crazy situation with the guy blowing his hand off playing with fireworks, Terrell talks about watching Deal or No Deal while Terrance urges for the podcast to get a little more messy. They ask would you rather have 100K a month working 12 hours a week or 10K a month doing absolutely nothing? The Bros seemingly agree there, as well as the next topic on GMO Mosquitoes that's been tearing up the east coast. There's a conversation about Young Thug's recent "RAT" comments and what we expect from him as an artist going forward. Lastly, the Boys have a ROUGH last 2 topics they just couldn't see eye to eye on. One about Therapy and Quitting and the last most firery debate surrounding the new Jurassic Park's success and what this means for NOSTALGIA vs ORIGINAL IDEAS.
Christian influencers are bringing fatphobia back in the name of Jesus—and Frank and Dan are not having it. This week, they dive into the toxic rise of Christian diet culture and how it ties into purity, control, and righteousness. Plus: Iran issues a fatwa targeting Trump and Netanyahu, Canterbury Cathedral starts handing out indulgences, Americans try to evangelize North Korea via plastic bottles, a Michigan teen sues her school over the Pledge of Allegiance, Utah's governor asks the state to pray for rain (again), and the Dalai Lama stirs up international drama by announcing his reincarnation plans.
What is up Bros?!? Wild WILD week for Love Island. Look, it may not be the season that many expected, but lets not sit here and act like it hasn't been entertaining. In this recap, Cierra gets sent home early due a racist post resurfacing. Between her and Yulissa it is somewhat baffling that production didn't do a better job at vetting these contestants. Nic moves on quickly as he and Olandria couple up. It hardly seems genuine but for the sake of continuity... we'll bite. Amaya Papaya finally found her man in Bryan and my goodness they are cute as a button. The sleeper couple that could rival them however, Pepe and Iris (aka Pepiris) are quickly climbing the ranks as a fan fav. With the departure off 5 bombshells in 1 episode, and 2 more shortly thereafter, this season is more chaotic than expected. America spoke and Chelly and Ace still refuse to listen. The issue now is, how will they land this plane? How will this season end on a high note so that all the turmoil was worth it? Stay tuned as we find out together. Learn more about your ad choices. What's up Bros? This was a much better episode and dare we say that is largely due to the absence of Jax...? Tensions are still high between Janet and Doute and Nia, but that takes a back seat as we watch the engagement being set up. Luke is a bit of a mess, but considering his grandmother being sick in the midst of trying to propose, its very understandable. Jesse and Aaron have a discussion about being cordial moving forward and they appear to be in a decent spot. The engagement goes off without a hitch (just some minor inconveniences. Brittany is upset that she wasnt included, because THATS what engagements are really about... Janet somehow takes offense to the engagement news and decides she will not attend any engagement activities, despite what Jason wants... And after this episode it begs the question... what does Jason want? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
What's up Bros? We made it to the end of an up and down season. There are definitely some positives for this franchise moving forward. Overall, the newbies minus Brit did a solid job. Angela was a delight and Kelli did good as well. If they can add some missing pieces, this franchise may very well be just fine. In this episode, Angela opens up about her houses for sale. She also addresses the man that gave the cheating toast. Apparently she and Drew sat down with him and got the tea. Shamea has a song showcase for her new music, and at the end, gets into it with Brit. Kelli and Brit are completely on the outs. Things get interesting when Angela invites the man that dropped the cheating bomb at Kellis event. She probably should have told Charles but thats neither here nor there. It turns out that Phaedra is the one that gave Marcus money and the info to say what he said. The group is skeptical but we are not 100% sure exactly who the culprit is... Maybe we'll find out at the reunion? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
THIS IS PART 1 OF A 2 PART EPISODE! What's up Bros? This recap is WILD. The most recent episodes of Love Island have gotten this show back on track. Episode 25 showed a lot of people exploring connections, Nic and Cierra closing off (FINALLY). Ace and Chelley are still not seeing eye to eye after the Heart Rate challenge. Huda and Chris make an unlikely connection that they both want to explore further. Olandria is still reeling from the Taylor of it all as he gets closer and closer with Clarke. Elan is still set on Cierra despite all of the signs that it's time to move on. Amaya Papaya and Zak cool off. It's the calm before the storm of episode 26 when the Villa Stands on Business and EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED! Allegiances are different, rankings are turned on their heads as Chelley and Cierra's stock plummets. Even Olandria took a big step back because of her diming out Huda. The Taylor crash out felt like it was warranted and a long time coming, so no shade there. The Huda witch hunt was hard to watch and we aren't even big Huda fans! This episode may have saved the season, but at the cost of a lot of favorites tanking in the ranking. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We love a good comic book explosion. The Writer smashes superheroes, comic book history, Jewish Folklore, Indiana Jones, The Princess Bride, Mike Mignola, and a little Looney Tunes existential dread. It's born from a unique sibling collaboration between the Berkowitz Bros., Max and Ben, as well as actor Josh Gad, master illustrator Ariel Olivetti, and letterer Frank Cvetkovic. At its center is the aggressively middle-aged Stan Siegel, a comic book writer avoiding life's next big chapter, who gets sucked into a supernatural battle with demons and nazis. And drags his mother and daughter into that war alongside him. The Writer is a meta feast for those steeped in comics and pop culture, nodding to the iconic and not-so-iconic characters who populate our collective imagination. With the trade paperback now available from Dark Horse Comics, we were eager to have the Berkowitz Bros. on the show this week. We discuss their comic book origin stories, a particular Bob Kane painting, middle-aged hero worship, and celebrating family. The conversation stirs intense feelings about siblings and why they make the best and worst collaborators. Also, during this week's introduction, we dive into our first HeroesCon experience. Did we meet all the creators we wanted to meet? Did we buy all the comics we wanted to buy? Are Rick Quinn and Dave Chisholm as cool in person as they are in our six Spectrum podcast episodes? We get into it. And don't forget to follow the Berkowitz Bros. on Blue Sky, Instagram, and their website. This Week's Sponsor We're sponsored by 2000 AD, the greatest comic you're not reading! Within its pages is a whole universe of characters, from Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog to Rogue Trooper, Shakara, Halo Jones, and the poor sods slogging across the Cursed Earth in The Helltrekkers. Get a print subscription at your door every week - and the first issue is free! Or subscribe digitally, get free back issues, and download DRM-free copies of each issue for just $9 a month. What's up Bros? Miami is already off to a hot start. In this episode, things escalate between Guerdy and Julia. Marysol and Steve tie the knot and Alexia throws a surprise reception for her. Alexia is still struggling with this whole Todd situation and keeps going back and forth. Adriana and her man still seem head over heels although their are rumors floating around that he may be a paid associate... Things boil over at the reception when Julia goes after Guerdy. We donno if we're missing some sort of key evidence here or if Julia has truly lost the plot but the more the situation is explained, the more we are team Guerdy. Learn more about your ad choices.
