This year the turtle farm in Isla Mujeres, Mexico was taken back by the government, probably due to mismanagement.  The new director of environment and ecology needed volunteers to help with the conservation efforts previously managed by the Tortuga Farm. Jim has been diving with the turtles during mating season off the south tip of the island for eight years and has been taking pictures of them turtles are an endangered species in Mexico they lay a lot of eggs on the beaches.  He realized they needed a lot of help, particularly someone to  to manage the effort.
