May we seek not so much to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love, that in pardoning we may be pardoned, and in giving we may receive. We pray for our President, for our Congress, for our homes, our people, our children, our brokenhearted, that we may be reverent in the use of freedom, just in the exercise of power, generous in the protection of weakness, merciful to those who have been our enemies. This week on The Kibbe and Friends Show, we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of what we proudly call the greatest car movie ever made — Tommy Boy. With the release of the new 4K edition and the incredible restoration of an original movie car by director Peter Segal (now appearing at MCACN 2025), we knew it was time to bring this one back in a big way. The guys dig into fresh stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and long-lost trivia before re-running their original Tommy Boy review from Episode 126. From Bernie's legendary news and weather segments to Corndog's next-level Mopar knowledge, this is pure K&F gold. If you love road-trip movies, odd-couple comedy, and classic muscle cars, this episode is required listening. At the same time, the K&F family has kicked off their annual Toys for Tots fundraiser through Patreon, and the momentum is already strong. The goal is to get funds in the hands of Toys for Tots in time to make a real impact this Christmas, helping kids and families who need it most. Listener support continues to amaze us, with members upgrading memberships and stepping up in a big way. If the show has ever made you laugh, helped you escape reality for a bit, or made you love cars even more — this is your chance to give back alongside us and help create real Christmas morning magic for families who truly need it. The post K&F Show #346: Christmas Lights from Space, MCACN, and the Car Movie Review: Tommy Boy 30th Anniversary Special! first appeared on The Muscle Car Place.

This week's episode is a full cross-country recap of our travel week. We kicked things off in New York City for Zachariah's live show, plus his SPICY moment on Hot Ones. From there, we headed straight to Salt Lake City, where a very enthusiastic Mormon couple attempted to convert us. They were like... totally obsessed with us. Then we made a spiritual pilgrimage to Swig to get our hands on some dirty sodas! Of course, Zach almost had a bathroom emergency at the Mormon temple that sent us sprinting to Nordstrom. Then we got on a spooky scary shaky flight to Portland, OR and not gonna lie we were scared lol the aggressive turbulence was real. Then Jonathan covers the story of a toddler who literally eats books and furniture, and Zach covers the story of a loose pig named Breakfast who is terrorizing a New York neighborhood. Product safety rules for kids toys and craft materials are not fit for purpose, with the rise in giant e-commerce retailers according to Consumer NZ. The safety of children's play things is centre stage after a recall of several coloured sand products due to an asbestos scare. Several schools that use the products closed while they worked out what cleanup is required. Meanwhile Consumer NZ says the changing way people shop and the sheer volume of products is making safety tough to police. Head of research and advocacy Gemma Rasmussen spoke to Lisa Owen.

Kanklefritz & Friends chat about popular toys from the past we used to get at Christmas. Also, what would it look like if social media had business hours.
This week it's just me, spiraling in real time about everything from why I feel like my height changes daily to the sudden, unhinged urge to go get something pierced. I talk about quitting nicotine after a decade, letting myself age without panicking, pulling back from social noise, and the weird, quiet chaos that shows up when your life finally gets safe enough to feel strange.

Back at it on a Monday! Successful weekend with some raking, a Harley ride, and the Christmas lights are up!!! In the news this morning, a winning Mega Millions ticket was sold on Friday, the FAA has lifted all restrictions on flights now that the government shutdown is over, and a grandfather is using his granddaughter to help him steal thousands of dollars in merchandise! In sports, the Packers beat the Giants yesterday, the Bucks split the weekend with a win on Friday and a loss on Saturday, Giannis helped the Lakers get the game ball for a rookie who scored his first NBA points, and the Badger football team stunk it up on the field on Saturday against #2 Indiana. Else where in sports, the Badger men's basketball team plays tonight, Aaron Rodgers may have broken his wrist yesterday, a Texas State Trooper is no longer welcome at college football games, and former Bucks player Patrick Beverley got arrested over the weekend. Let you know what's on TV today/tonight and talked about the halftime entertainment for the three NFL games on Thanksgiving. Couple of cool stories this morning - A city in Oklahoma that is allowing residents to pay off their unpaid parking tickets & overdue library fees by donating food to a local pantry, a woman in England who saved her golfing buddy's life when he had a heart attack, and a cameraman in Canada who had a random encounter with a brain surgeon and is now getting a life-changing treatment. Talked about how much the average American is going to spend on Thanksgiving this year, and also about this year's most dangerous toys! In today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a shoot-out at a grocery store over a turkey, a guy with a suspicious "bulge" in his pants was trying to smuggle some birds into the US, a dude in Montana who got a DUI after he tried to pee into a Budweiser can while driving, an asshole in Texas who destroyed a Veterans Day display but got caught because he left his driver's license at the scene, and a dude in Greece who tried to swallow a burger without chewing!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
