TV and Film. In this episode we discuss our recent viewings before getting into The Martian and how accurate it was scientifically. Aki, Mator and Red, and even the live chat, try to convince Digi why The Martian is worth his viewing and reading time. Red talks about his progress with The Orville and we compare Seth Macfarlane's new show to the Star Trek universe. This then leads nicely into Aki and Digi's thoughts on the new Star Trek Discovery series and the Klingon Re-design. In Episode 27 DigitalPsychosis rejoins the team to cover our latest progress in Kerbal Space Program, albeit a bit dry. We talk about SQUADs progress on the 1.2.2 patch and welcome a new senior developer. TheReadPanda offers his experience with the OPT and Mk4 Spaceplane mods in the modding section. For our Real Space segment we discuss MatoroIgnika's experience at the GOES-R launch, the future options for NASA and that darned Super-Moon hype. 0:02:22- Coming up... 0:04:28 - Mission Control 0:16:40 - R&D 0:31:12 - Real Space 1:01:50 - Shout Outs
In this episode we celebrate the release of Kerbal Space Program onto the PS4 and XBOX consoles. We discuss the latest mods we found as well as sharing our current progression in KSP. MatoroIgnika is away for this episode as he travels to see a live SpaceX launch. In our real-space segment we cover Juno and the Mars 2020 Rover and we also touch on New Horizons. We also have a small announcement about the BST Podcast towards the end of the show.
In this episode we discuss the release of KSP 1.1.2 as Squad go on a well deserved break. We talk over a few of the KSP mods, including a message from Poodmund and his work towards the Outer Planets Mod and future updates of Environmental Visual Enhancements and Proot's KRC. A celebration is in order as MatoroIgnika announces his partnership with Twitch - be sure to check him out and subscribe if you can tolerate the #salt. As requested by listener MajorRocketScience, we also talk about the Chinese space-program in our astronomy segment. This will be the last broadcast Dan (Aki) will make from his remote location and should be back in his comfy studio for the next recording.
In this episode of our Kerbal Space Program (KSP) podcast we introduce MatoroIgnika as our new co-host after the unfortunate departure of ThunderGod97. With Digi out for the count with man-flu and a thunderstorm cutting Mator's time short on the 'cast, Oak and Aki are left to entertain the viewers for most of the show.
We dedicate this Kerbal Space Program episode to the New Horizons fly-by of Pluto. Along with the usual BST crew we asked some other KSP Twitch Streamers to join us for this show. On the Podcast with us we had ShimmyTheJJ, Kofeyh, SrafaORasp, MatoroIgnika, Million_Lights, Rich Adenot, TheGroovyMule, Red_Munchkin_Gaming, ComWarrior69 and iVG123. Listen to us share our views on this historic event.
