Teaching social skills doesn't always stick, but what if we could make it both effective and engaging? In this conversation, we explore how pairing Behavioral Skills Training (BST) with video modeling can create more meaningful, lasting social skill development. We break down how these two evidence-based strategies work together, walking through each phase of BST and showing how video can supercharge the process, especially for visual learners. We also share practical insights from our own experiences, like how using self-video during the feedback phase helps learners reflect, laugh, and grow without overwhelm. Plus, we cover the importance of keeping it simple: targeting one clear skill at a time, praising successes, and building confidence through positive reinforcement. Whether you're a therapist, teacher, or parent, this episode offers smart, doable ways to level up your social skills teaching toolkit. What's Inside:How to use BST and video modeling when teaching social skillsReal-world insights from our own experiences with video modelingWhy it's important to keep your approach simpleMentioned In This Episode:HowToABA.com/joinHow to ABA on YouTubeFind us on FacebookFollow us on Instagram BST and Video Modeling

In this week's episode of the Flux News Show, Greg Newman, Harry Campion-Evans, and Mita Chaturvedi break down why middle distillates like diesel are defying the trend and driving oil markets. They dive deep into the distillates rally, unpacking how chronically low stocks, disjointed refining activity, and CTA-led momentum flipped what looked like a stop-out into a full-blown bull run.Meanwhile, soaring diesel-led margins and rare summer tightness in the physical market are reshaping the narrative on cracks and spreads — and few saw it coming. The team also touches on new hedge fund launches, the shifting macro backdrop around US–EU trade tensions, and the latest on the Murban pricing saga, as PLATTS faces scrutiny over a controversial methodology tweak. In the Crystal Ball, Greg, Harry, and Mita debate whether the distillate tightness is here to stay - and what it means for Brent, refinery utilization, and product flows heading into peak demand season.

In this week's episode of the Flux News Show, Harry Campion-Evans steps in for Group CEO Greg Newman and joins Harinder Sandhu and Vincent Wu to dissect the shifting tides in global oil markets. The team kicks off with a bullish shift in market fundamentals, driven by strong open interest in Brent options, rising refinery margins, and the impact of U.S. sanctions rhetoric. They then dig into the distillate rally, where July–August gas oil spreads hit their highest levels since the Russian invasion. With inventory draws in the U.S. and Europe, and hedge funds piling into long positions, gas oil is shaping up to be the star of Q3. On the flip side, the fuel oil market saw a dramatic sell-off, as supply flooded into Singapore, overwhelming demand and triggering a steep decline in cracks and spreads — a major blow for traders who had been long throughout the summer. The team also unpacks China's aggressive crude buying, highlighting record Saudi allocations and ramping refinery run rates, which could support prices through the second half of the year. Finally, they take on Trump's renewed tariff threats, analysing whether they hold weight or are being shrugged off by increasingly sceptical markets. In the Crystal Ball segment, the Harry, Harinder and Vincent give their outlook on Brent futures, product cracks, and seasonal demand patterns, with some heated debate along the way. Want to trade?Get a behind-the-scenes look at how the pros express views with relative value trades, uncorrelated contracts, and smart positioning. This episode is rich in education for newer traders, and deep enough for veterans hunting asymmetric opportunities. “from Portsmouth at midday” [LAST]    The Portsmouth Library is home to the Arthur Conan Doyle Collection, largely made possible by the bequest of Richard Lancelyn Green. This world-renowned collection, the work of one of the foremost Doylean scholars, is a treasure trove for researchers, enthusiasts, and the public. The Collection preserves books, manuscripts, artifacts, and ephemera that illuminate Conan Doyle's life, his beloved Sherlock Holmes, and the cultural impact of his work. Laura Weston is the Education and Learning Officer for the Collection at the Portsmouth City Council, making the collection accessible and engaging to a global audience. Laura joins us to discuss the annual Worldwide Doyle conference, a series of virtual talks by writers, fans, and academics who are passionate about Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes. The program is taking place in June and July; all events take place at 7:00 pm BST and are free of charge, and will be available online. How does a city like Portsmouth turn a literary archive into a global attraction — and why does it matter? What behind-the-scenes choices shape the talks and exhibits that bring Sherlock Holmes to life for new audiences? Laura discusses all of this, including the unexpected item in the Collection that made even its curator stop and say, “I didn't see that coming.” So you can see what's coming, we share the full calendar of July in “The Learned Societies” segment. Madeline Quinones is back with “A Chance of Listening,” and the Canonical Couplet quiz tests your Sherlock Holmes knowledge, with something from the vaults for the winner.
