POPULARITY
We. Love. Sean. O'Haire. As confirmed by our listeners in a Twitter poll (@MakingKayfabe - come join the fun!), Sean O'Haire is a HUGE missed opportunity from wrestling's past. In late 2003, vignettes started to air featuring Sean O'Haire playing a "devil's advocate" role. He'd convince you to cheat on your partner, he'd convince you to not pay your taxes, stop following your religion, break the law, etc etc etc. The intense promos lasted 30 seconds each but are still ingrained in mind of wrestling fans nearly two decades later, especially since the gimmick was scrapped after two weeks. Join us as we re-book Sean O'Haire LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN, and then wrap up the episode with a particularly sticky Kayfabe Tombola. GET YOURSELF ON THE SHOW! Jairo-Mites, Another legend has left us. Once again to recap on the life and career of Rowdy Roddy Piper one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and cornerstone of the Rock and Wrestling connection of the 1980s, soldier in the Monday Night Wars in the 1990s and being able to work with individuals such as Sean O'Haire, Piper's Pit including guest such as Steve Austin, CM Punk, just to name a few. Without Roddy Piper (the antagonist needed for Hogan to feud with in the 1980s, you can argue that Hulkamania would have not been around as long as its been. My guest will be Kervin Delgado from the YEP! I Like Wrestling group who is having a SummerSlam viewing party on Sunday August 23rd at 8PM at Legends Bar located in Midtown Manhattan. Follow me on instagram and twitter @chokedoutradio. Also, please like my facebook page Choked Out Radio. Thanks, Jairo
