The Chiefs season is over for all intents and purposes and it's time to get real. You have an aging quarterback that has slowed down and now has an ACL surgery. High priced older players that don't play to the level expected and a team that is poorly coached. Ya, that's pretty much everyone. The only thing to say is there is no continuing with the same plan to keep the band together. If the Chiefs want to chase more Super Bowls with Patrick Mahomes they need a completely different blueprint for Part II. A pastor at Journey church in Lee's Summit jokes about these sloppy Chiefs in his sermon to inspire the congregation. The Royals trade for a left fielder, KU's Darren Peterson gets hurt again. Trump's coin toss at Army-Navy was an incredible scene. Taylor Swift hands out massive cash bonuses to her crew. Then, a new documentary by KMBC Channel 9 took 19 months for Donna Pittman and her team to produce. It features Kansas City area women that served in Vietnam and it airs Tuesday night at 7:00. It sounds incredible. Our Final Final is a cold sack of burgers.

Most Malaysian IPOs fail before they start. Not from bad businesses, but from founders who treat the listing as a finish line instead of a starting gun. Stephanie Ng has spent years translating complex enterprises into 300-page prospectuses that unlock billions in capital. Yet she's discovered most investors never read past the financials, and most companies exhaust themselves reaching debut day, then go silent. Ed Sheeran BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Ed Sheeran is deep in the final stretch of his brief December European run before launching his massive global Loop Tour. He kicked off the current leg in Paris on December 1st and has since played shows in the UK including Coventry and Manchester. At his Coventry show on December 5th he gave fans the first live performances of two new tracks from his latest album Play Heaven and For Always with longtime collaborators Beoga joining him on stage. Those songs are the final two on the standard edition of Play and fans are buzzing about the live debuts which have already made the rounds online. He played Manchester's Co-op Live arena on December 7th and later shared a vlog from that show saying he avoided all social media and YouTube comments in the week leading up to it so he wouldn't spoil the surprise of the setlist for himself and he's glad he did. Meanwhile Alice 96.5 reports that Sheeran recently addressed concerns about his marriage to wife Cherry after some fans worried about the tone of new songs like Regrets War Games and Problems on the deluxe edition of Play. At a Spotify pop-up event he explained that his songs capture big extremes of emotion not his everyday reality and that Cherry understands this because she also has songs like Heaven and Perfect written for her. He emphasized that he only writes when he's feeling something intensely happy sad or angry and that's what connects with people. On a more personal note Sheeran told the Awards Chatter podcast that he's thinking seriously about building his own venue in his hometown so he can do a residency and spend more time with Cherry and their two daughters Lyra and Jupiter. He said he wants to cut out the long tours and travel and that he probably has one more big tour in him before settling down more during the school years. His current December European dates wrap up in Dublin on December 9th and then the Loop Tour continues globally into 2026 with major stadium dates including a stop at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on August 15th 2026.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

In a gloriously shambolic podcast debut of On The Record, Brian Wise and Michael Mackenzie briefly wrestle with technology; however, once the cockpit stops flashing warnings, they settle into a free-wheeling conversation about music, ageing audiences, dodgy voting scandals, Patti Smith, Beatles archaeology, sci-fi mind melds, and why matinee gigs are the greatest invention since the flat white. Wise and Mackenzie first teamed up when they co-presented Dig On The Radio, a summer season of music and performances on ABC Local Radio between 2003 and 2006. Since then, the pair have kept in touch both on and off the air, and decided there might be literally dozens of people eager to hear their meanderings in this new addition to the Rhythms stable. In this debut episode Michael and Brian meander through: The annual Rhythms Readers Poll, which, shockingly, people have actually tried to rig. (Move over Florida.) Why older gig-goers prefer concerts that end before the evening news, and the uncertain future for finding new music audiences via radio. Mavis Staples' new album, Sad and Beautiful World, which both agree is so good it may actually restore faith in humanity. A detour into Tom Jones, who's made excellent records while the world wasn't looking. Todd Snider, the mayor of East Nashville and patron saint of long, funny songs. Paul Kelly's new album and gig, celebrated for making audiences actually listen because they didn't know the lyrics yet. The Beatles Anthology reboot, where Apple Records proves once again that there is no bottom to the barrel if you have AI and Giles Martin. Final season of Stranger Things: getting so dark it may require night-vision goggles Pluribus, the new Vince Gilligan sci-fi series about humanity becoming one hive mind—an idea Brian finds horrifying and Michael could really get behind. Cowboy Junkies live, who apparently sound so good Brian is still vibrating. The Springsteen biopic Deliver Us From Nowhere, prompting the important philosophical debate: Is it bi-OH-pic or BYE-opic? Patti Smith, whose writing has Michael crying and whose life stories have Brian reading again. Subscribe to here Substack here. A CNN Live Aid documentary, featuring Bob Geldof, Margaret Thatcher, and the invention of global-scale concert viewing way before GoFundMe. Watch on 9Now.
