This week, the crew kicks things off with a new studio setup before Mason unleashes on one of his greatest enemies: cyclists taking over country roads. Are bicycles entitled to the road, or should spandex warriors be restricted to bike lanes and 25 MPH neighborhoods? Things escalate quickly. From there, the conversation gets even stranger. The guys revisit classic Colt 45 and St. Ides malt liquor commercials, including Billy Dee Williams' legendary "works every time" advertising and the absolutely insane era when rappers were selling malt liquor on TV. They also remember sneaking their first tastes of beer, liquor and black coffee as kids — and immediately wondering why adults willingly drank any of it. Then comes the smell nobody wants: Mike's encounter with a porta-potty cleaning operation and the dreaded "duty mist." Somehow, that leads to burning research monkeys, getting smuggled onto job sites without a badge, hiding in a car trunk for work, and more questionable employment stories. Mike also explains exactly why he does NOT want another dog, triggering a full debate about dogs in the house, pets on furniture, cats walking across kitchen counters, irresponsible pet ownership, Cane Corsos, piranhas and the enormous responsibility that comes with owning an animal. It's exactly what you've come to expect from the rickety ship: ridiculous stories, arguments, nostalgia, questionable opinions and three friends finding the funny side of life.

No script, no safe direction, and absolutely no guarantee where the conversation is going. The crew kicks things off with WNBA betting, Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and the increasingly bizarre trend of objects getting thrown onto basketball courts. From there, things quickly go off the rails with a discussion about Fast & Furious 11, Paul Walker, whether Tupac could somehow show up in the franchise, and just how far Hollywood can stretch a movie series before reality no longer matters. The conversation turns to politics, government spending, Washington D.C., American priorities, foreign policy, the midterm elections, beef recalls, wild horses, fake meat, and trying to figure out exactly what we're eating anymore. Gambling and NFL betting The hosts spend a large portion of the episode discussing sports betting, especially NFL futures and Super Bowl odds. One host favors betting based on personal judgment rather than elaborate parlays, while the others encourage more aggressive strategies. They discuss betting small amounts across multiple NFL teams to increase the chance of hitting a long-shot winner. A specific idea emerges: bet roughly $2.30–$2.69 on around 30–32 teams, with the goal of spending about $69 total and potentially benefiting if a long-shot team wins the Super Bowl. They also discuss FanDuel and Bet365, including differences in available betting options and player statistics. The group jokes about tracking their wins and losses throughout the NFL season. 2. Propane delivery/service work One host describes working with propane tanks and the problems caused when customers allow tanks to run empty. Emergency service can involve additional charges because technicians must perform leak checks, pressure tests, and other procedures before refilling a completely empty tank. Customers are often surprised by these fees, leading to frustration and complaints. The hosts argue that companies should be more transparent when selling propane systems, explaining ongoing maintenance requirements, fuel costs, emergency charges, and the value of monitoring systems. They discuss practical challenges technicians face, including frozen or poorly designed tank enclosures, limited workspace, rusty fittings, difficult regulators, and installations that make servicing unnecessarily difficult. A recurring point is that customers should understand how to monitor and maintain their systems rather than waiting until they completely run out of fuel. 3. Rising costs and customer frustration The conversation broadens into the increasing cost of goods and services. They note that customers often blame employees for high prices even though employees don't control pricing. One customer reportedly switched most of their home heating to a heat pump after receiving an unexpectedly high propane-related bill, keeping propane only as a backup. The hosts agree that prices rarely return to previous levels once they increase. 4. Food and Bucky's The group discusses Buc-ee's and one host's recent experience there. Several items receive strong praise, including a peanut-butter chocolate candy, seasoning, blueberry cream soda, and other food. Banana pudding and some desserts receive negative reviews. They describe Bucky's as more than a gas station: a massive convenience store with food, merchandise, candy, jerky, fudge, bathrooms, and numerous gas pumps. The overall verdict is that Bucky's is a worthwhile stop when traveling, even if not every product is exceptional. 5. Local food The hosts recommend several local food spots, particularly places known for fried fish, chicken, barbecue, country cooking, and pie. They complain about slow service at one barbecue restaurant while praising other smaller establishments for consistently good food. Food quality, portion sizes, freshness, and value are recurring themes. 6. Cocktails and drinking The hosts briefly discuss cocktails, especially Long Islands and martinis. They talk about the difference between shaken and stirred martinis, including the idea of avoiding excessive agitation or “bruising.” A cocktail show they watched is mentioned as interesting because it explained the science behind temperature, dilution, shaking, and stirring. 7. Comedic tangent about environmental exposure A long, increasingly absurd section discusses being around airborne mist/fumes at outdoor events while eating. The conversation becomes deliberately ridiculous, using exaggerated jokes about avoiding food contamination and choosing where to eat at festivals. This section is primarily comedic rather than informational. Overall takeaway The episode is intentionally unstructured and conversational, with the hosts jumping rapidly between subjects rather than following a planned format. The strongest substantive discussions are about sports betting strategy and the realities of propane service, while the rest of the episode provides humorous commentary on food, travel stops, rising prices, cocktails, and everyday experiences. The episode ultimately ends by encouraging listeners to keep working toward their goals, listen to older episodes, like/share/subscribe, and keep grinding, while jokingly returning to the recurring “$69 across the NFL” betting idea.

Send us Fan MailOne question can instantly time-travel any wrestling fan: WWF or WCW? We sit down with a full panel and let the memories fly, from Hulk Hogan's era-defining run to Stone Cold's anti-hero peak, Rey Mysterio's impossible longevity, and the never-ending debate about The Rock's place in wrestling history. If you grew up on the Attitude Era, Nitro, SmackDown, or late-night highlight replays, the energy here feels like arguing with your friends during a commercial break. We also get into the part of pro wrestling that outsiders miss: the athleticism. Yes, it's scripted entertainment, but the physical work is real. We compare WWE-style training and performance to traditional pro sports, talk about the grind of a year-round schedule, and why timing and conditioning matter as much as raw strength. Along the way we rank the match types that define the spectacle, including ladder matches, TLC chaos, steel cages, and the Royal Rumble as the ultimate “anything can happen” format. Then we go full fan mode: Mount Rushmore picks, the wrestling moves we tried as kids, live event stories, and the fantasy-booking closer that always sparks an argument Goldberg vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. As "The Voice of Wrestling" Jim Ross continues his recovery, we're firing up the time machine and heading back 30 years for one of the strangest nights in Monday Night RAW history, the first and last RAW Bowl! Jim Ross and Conrad Thompson revisit the January 1, 1996 edition of RAW and the WWF's unforgettable attempt to kick off the new year with a football-themed wrestling spectacle. JR shares his firsthand memories of calling the action, why Vince McMahon believed themed television could attract new viewers, and whether anyone backstage actually thought the RAW Bowl might become an annual tradition. Then, the guys examine the state of the WWF entering 1996. The New Generation Era was nearing its end, the Royal Rumble was right around the corner, and the company was unknowingly standing on the doorstep of one of the most transformative years in professional wrestling history. Plus, JR discusses Diesel's final months in the WWF, the arrival of Vader, the infamous "Billionaire Ted's Wrasslin' War Room" skits, and a Monday Night War that was beginning to heat up faster than anyone could have imagined.     THIS WEEKS SPONSORS CAR GURUS - It's no wonder CarGurus is the number 1 most visited car shopping site, according to Similarweb's estimated traffic data. Welcome to No Holds Barred, where Aaron and JT take an unfiltered look at wrestling, pop culture, and beyond—with no restrictions and no shortcuts. In Episode 178, JT and Aaron reach one of the biggest milestones in their ongoing WWF 1992 rebooking project: a completely reimagined SummerSlam 1992. Months of alternate booking have led to this moment. Following WrestleMania VIII, a rebooked King of the Ring, and a revamped Saturday Night's Main Event, the WWF landscape has been transformed. New rivalries have emerged, championship pictures have shifted, and the road to... Landover (?) has taken a dramatically different path. Who walks into SummerSlam as champion? Which superstars have risen through the ranks? And how do Bret Hart, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Papa Shango, and the rest of the WWF roster fit into this all-new version of one of wrestling's most iconic events? JT and Aaron reveal their rebooked SummerSlam card, break down every match, and explore how these creative decisions could have changed the direction of WWF history. Topics include: • Rebooking SummerSlam 1992 from the ground up • The payoff to months of alternate WWF storytelling • Championship matches and major rivalries • Fantasy booking with long-term continuity • How one event could reshape the future of the WWF Perfect for fans of classic WWF, fantasy booking, alternate wrestling history, and deep dives into one of the most memorable eras in professional wrestling. Whether you're reliving 1992 or imagining what could have been, this is SummerSlam like you've never experienced it before.     WWF, WWE, SummerSlam 1992, Rebooking WWF, WWF 1992, Fantasy Booking, Alternate Wrestling History, SummerSlam, Bret Hart, British Bulldog, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Classic WWF, WWE History, Wrestling Podcast, No Holds Barred, Aaron George, JT Rozzero, Wrestling Booking, WWF Fantasy Booking, Pro Wrestling, Wrestling History, WWE Retrospective
