Episode 236 of the AEW-some Pod is up. Diana Prince (The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs, Halloween Ends), Johnny Taylor (The Hard Times, Stand-Up! Records, Tubi), and Gringo Fantastico (Troma's Disasterpiece Theater) break down a Dynamite from Cincinnati where Mark Briscoe went over MJF's head, talked to the actual boss, and booked himself into a six-on-six cage match at Forbidden Door for a guaranteed title shot. Chris Jericho introduced the world to Tommy's Mommy and Goblin Face. Darby Allin returned with a skateboard and a line for the ages. Kevin Knight insulted the host city, bragged about his signing bonus, and got skateboarded for his trouble. MJF preached the gospel of money over friends and then had to literally buy five friends out of a briefcase two segments later. Plus Mox retained over Shane Taylor, Maya World pulled the upset of the tournament over Skye Blue, and Swerve and Brody beat each other half to death in a 16-minute semifinal with a Nana situation we are still trying to figure out. AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster was one of those shows that had some good things on it, but also a whole lot of stuff that made you ask, “What exactly are we doing here?” The Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Jericho segment felt way too sports-entertainment for a company that loves telling us it's the sports-based alternative. Jon Moxley vs. Shane Taylor for the Continental Title was a complete drag, PAC vs. Mark Briscoe did very little for me, and Orange Cassidy vs. Andrade was another match that just kind of sat there. There were some positives. The surprise in the Women's Owen tournament was interesting, and Swerve Strickland vs. Brody King was a good main event that at least gave the show a strong finish. But overall, this was a mixed bag at best. Some angles moved forward, some stories got more cluttered, and Forbidden Door is clearly taking shape in the weirdest Tony Khan way possible. In this review, I break down everything that mattered from AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster 6/10/26 in under 10 minutes — the good, the bad, and the stuff that made me roll my eyes.Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production

Ryan and Cindy continue their journey through the spring of 2001. We get to the main show rather quickly, because not much happened to build up the show, since the top 3 matches are just rematches from the month before. Despite the rematches there is a bunch to talk about, including: Rikishi's back! And trying to stick his ass in William Regal's face. Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit reach the climax of their feud in a two out of three falls match. Rhyno continues to build up the hardcore title. Chyna defending her Women's title against Lita, in what proved to be her last match and going over her legacy. Kane and Triple H having a chain match for the IC title. Tag Turmoil match ending with Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho forming a team. Just like 1997 and 1999, it's time for a May PPV to have Steve Austin against the Undertaker for the World title. We also look at a very different feeling Raw the night after, featuring Kurt Angle re-coronation with his gold medals, the Molly Holly/Spike Dudley romance, an all-time tag team match, and it's Judgment Day for Triple H's quadriceps (for the first time). Enjoy the show!

They also review the Vikings' highly rated schedule-release video featuring Will Reichard and Chris Jericho, cover Jauan Jennings' one-year deal after turning down a larger 49ers offer, and debate Adrian Peterson's Ring of Honor induction amid elite on-field production and significant off-field controversies. 00:00 Cold Open and Topics 01:21 Show Intro and Welcome 02:24 Great White North Banter 04:49 GM Search Updates 06:41 Ray Agnew Breakdown 09:36 Power Structure Concerns 13:31 Why Candidates Ghost 18:56 What Authority Means 24:29 Schedule Release Hype 27:07 Fast Start Divisional Games 29:11 Packers Matchup Edge 32:40 Midseason Gauntlet Ahead 36:53 Mexico City Altitude Game 37:59 Mexico City Game Impact 39:43 Saints as Sneaky Threat 42:02 Vikings Record Predictions 44:14 Theme Three Vikings Land 45:09 Schedule Video Breakdown 53:10 Jennings Signing Reaction 56:30 Adrian Peterson Ring Debate 01:08:03 Show Wrap and Farewell Fan With Us! We break down WWE Backlash 2026 from every angle as the company heads into its first Backlash event of the ESPN era in the United States. Roman Reigns defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu in the biggest match on the card, with the Bloodline story entering a completely new phase after reports surfaced that Reigns is currently not planned for Night of Champions or the June television leading into it. We discuss the family history behind the match, Jacob Fatu's rise from enforcer to true singles star, and why this feels like the biggest opportunity of his WWE career so far. Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker may be the most personal match on the show as the collapse of The Vision finally comes to a head. Seth Rollins opened up this week about creating the faction because of insecurity and distrust toward Roman Reigns and CM Punk, while Bron Breakker continues trying to prove he has completely outgrown his former mentor and is ready to become WWE's next centerpiece star. The WWE United States Championship feud between Trick Williams and Sami Zayn has become one of the strangest stories in wrestling all year. We discuss the reported backstage pushback toward the Gingerbread Man storyline, why several people in WWE reportedly viewed the angle as "hokey and archaic," and Sami Zayn's explanation that he intentionally wanted to experiment with a character shift designed to divide the audience rather than function as a traditional heel turn. We also preview IYO SKY vs. Asuka, Danhausen's mystery partner situation against The Miz and Kit Wilson, and the growing speculation that Jelly Roll could appear at Backlash despite CM Punk remaining the betting favorite internally and externally. John Cena also continues heavily teasing what he calls a "history-making" announcement at Backlash that will "shock the very foundation of WWE." Reports now point toward the possible launch of Club WWE tied to the company's growing ESPN integration, and we discuss why WWE is clearly positioning the announcement as one of the defining talking points of the entire event. Outside WWE, one of the biggest stories in wrestling involves Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods officially leaving WWE after reportedly rejecting TKO restructuring deals. We break down the end of The New Day as an active WWE act, why the situation feels different from a normal release, the AEW interest already surrounding both men, and what their departures say about WWE's changing business structure under TKO. AEW delivered an emotional tribute to Ted Turner following his passing at 87 years old. Sting made a surprise appearance alongside Tony Schiavone to honor the man responsible for keeping wrestling alive on TBS and TNT for decades. We reflect on Turner's impact on wrestling history, WCW surviving because of his commitment to the business, and why modern wrestling television likely looks completely different without him. We also discuss AEW Double or Nothing trending toward one of the company's strongest domestic crowds in years from Queens, New York, while Stadium Stampede officially returns for the first time since 2021. Chris Jericho, Ricochet, The Gates of Agony, and The Hurt Syndicate are all becoming part of one of AEW's signature match concepts once again as the company leans harder into faction warfare and spectacle. Plus, we cover Lei Ying Lee regaining the TNA Knockouts World Championship, Yota Tsuji earning an IWGP Heavyweight Championship rematch against Callum Newman for NJPW Dominion, MLW and CMLL's crossover event from Arena México, and the NWA celebrating the reported audience for Powerrr's return to broadcast television on Comet TV. Then we look ahead to Raw, NXT, AEW Dynamite, TNA Impact, SmackDown, AEW Collision, NWA Powerrr, WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, Double or Nothing, Dominion, and the rest of the upcoming wrestling calendar.
