    Erik Murphy (Basketball): A Gator Life

    I had a chance to sit down with former Gator Basketball Great Erik Murphy.  As you recall, Erik played basketball at UF from 2009-2013 where he received honors such as A Conference and All SEC Tournament.  Following his career with the Gators, Erik was drafted 49th overall in the NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls and later played professionally oversees in Turkey, Italy and Spain while also being a Finish National Team player.  In this episode Erik talks about what his time in Gainesville has meant to him as well as some of the lessons he learned while attending UF.  Also, did you know Erik was fluent in 3 languages as a child?  Have a listen to the episode to learn some other things about this Gator Great.     Mollie Stevens (Lacrosse): A Gator Life

    Mollie Stevens played lacrosse at the University of Florida from 2014-2017.  During that time she earned many awards which included attacker of the year, first team All American and Big East Tournament Most Outstanding Player.  After her time at UF, Mollie has since gone on to play professionally as well as coach at the collegiate and high school levels.     Bridget Sloan (Gymnastics): A Gator Life

    Bridget Sloan is one of the most accomplished Gators of all times.  She won a silver medal in the 2008 olympics and was the All Around World Champion in 2009.  This preceded her time at UF where she was at 9x NCCA Champion, 31x All American and 2x Honda Award Winner as the nations BEST college gymnast.   In this episode, I speak with "Sloan" about her drive and determination which she credits for her success.  We also talk about her Olympic experience and what it meant to her.  Bridget goes into detail about Gainesville, her time there and all the friends she made. She also describes what "Being a Gator" means to her.     Genevieve Lacaze Gregson (Track and Field): A Gator Life

    Genevieve attended the University of Florida from 2009-2012 and a highly successful college career that was capped with an NCAA runner-up finish in the 3,000m steeplechase in 2012.  She has since gone on to complete in 2 Olympic Games for Australia and is setting her sights on a 3rd.     Marissa King (Gymnastics): A Gator Life

    Patric Young (Basketball): A Gator Life

    Christian Taylor (Triple Jump): A Gator Life

    Christian Taylor is one of the most decorated UF athletes of all time.  He is the reigning 2x Olympic Champion in the triple jump and currently holds the American record at 18.21m.  In this episode Christian talks about growing up in Georgia and how important his family is to him.  He also discusses his time at Gainesville, what he misses about it and why he feels it is the greatest place to live on Earth.  He then discusses his olympic experiences and in the process we learn all about the drive and determination it takes to be the best.  Is Christian attempting to go for 3 gold medals?  Tune in to find out.
