Another "bonus" episode, if that's what you can call it, where I sound off against the fans who crapped all over the Royal Rumble last night and turned a dream night for Roman Reigns into a nightmare. Episode 37 of Axel's Wrestling Analysis features reviews of this past weeks NXT and Ring of Honor Wrestling shows. In NXT, it was a week packed of relevant matches where rivalries were ended, continued and furthered as Tyson Kidd faced Finn Balor, we saw the unbeaten Baron Corbin vs the unbeaten Bull Dempsey, Charlotte and Natalya vs Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch and the main event for the NXT Championship between Sami Zayn and the former champion, Adrian Neville. For Ring of Honor we had the start of the top prospect tournament where J Diesel faced off against Will Ferrara and a fun contest between Roderick Strong and Mark Briscoe. Nigel McGuinness addressed Tommaso Ciampa regarding his future with ROH and we had an epic three way main event for the ROH World Championship number one contenders spot. This week went from awesome to shit in the wrestling world. After the heights reached by New Japan and GFW's Wrestle Kingdom 9, the wrestling week just went downhill and sadly NXT couldn't help to rejuvenate the week. I give my views on NXT (as always) and what I'd do with the tag division which is very weak right now. The wait is finally over and Wrestle Kingdom 9 is in the books. Here I look back at one of the greatest wrestling shows I've personally had the pleasure of viewing. There were six championship matches on the card including the epic showdowns for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and the IWGP Intercontinental Championship with both matches quite possibly featuring the top four guys in New Japan right now.
