AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster was one of those shows that had some good things on it, but also a whole lot of stuff that made you ask, “What exactly are we doing here?” The Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Jericho segment felt way too sports-entertainment for a company that loves telling us it's the sports-based alternative. Jon Moxley vs. Shane Taylor for the Continental Title was a complete drag, PAC vs. Mark Briscoe did very little for me, and Orange Cassidy vs. Andrade was another match that just kind of sat there. There were some positives. The surprise in the Women's Owen tournament was interesting, and Swerve Strickland vs. Brody King was a good main event that at least gave the show a strong finish. But overall, this was a mixed bag at best. Some angles moved forward, some stories got more cluttered, and Forbidden Door is clearly taking shape in the weirdest Tony Khan way possible. In this review, I break down everything that mattered from AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster 6/10/26 in under 10 minutes — the good, the bad, and the stuff that made me roll my eyes.Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production
It's a sleepy little float down a lazy river at AEW this week, but you KNOW your girls make their own fun. First, we check in on the Men's Title Scene which Mark Briscoe is part of now. Sure! Kevin Knight and Speedball had their Divorce Match which sort of underwhelmed us, but don't worry, we had some great ideas for how they could spice it up. Plus, Tony got scared of how mad we were last week and brought Mercedes back! And not a MOMENT too soon! Plus, Mox gives Ospreay Daddy Lessons, Ciampa's in a one-sided feud with Jericho, and we play a new dating game you're gonna love. AEW Dynamite had some good wrestling, some big names, and also some of the usual problems that keep holding this show back. MJF vs. Rush was a good opener for the AEW World Title, but let's be honest, it should have felt much bigger with more story and more time to breathe. Mark Briscoe beat Lio Rush and then cut a very emotional promo calling out MJF. Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue had one of the most talked-about segments of the night with a very aggressive message aimed at Stardom. Andrade had a total nothing match, Kevin Knight retained the TNT Title over Speedball Mike Bailey in a fun one, Mercedes Mone returned in the Women's Owen tournament, and Will Ospreay beat Mark Davis in a match that got way too messy for its own good.Overall? Entertaining show, but also a frustrating one. AEW keeps giving you flashes of something great, then undercuts it with rushed builds, random segments, or overbooked finishes. Episode 234 of the AEW-some Pod is up, and Philly delivered the kind of show that gives three people plenty to argue about. MJF threw himself a party, Mark Briscoe and Rush had some thoughts on it, and now there's a title match on the books for next week that nobody saw coming the way it came. Kyle Fletcher is back from the shelf and apparently in the mood to start naming names inside his own faction. Kevin Knight continues his ongoing campaign to be the most insufferable man in professional wrestling, with a Speedball Mike Bailey assist. Jericho and Ricochet finally put a bow on what has quietly been one of the better programs of the year, and Tommaso Ciampa had a little something to say about it. Brody King and Claudio Castagnoli beat the brakes off each other in the Owen Hart Cup, Mark Davis and Jack Perry had a real one, and Copeland and Christian tried to do a nostalgia bit that went about as well as nostalgia bits tend to go in 2026. Plus Statlander and Shida closed the night with a Philly Street Fight that we are still recovering from. Diana, Johnny, and Gringo get into all of it. AEW Dynamite on 5/27/26 was a fun show overall, folks. Not a perfect show, not some all-time masterpiece, but a fun show with some fresh movement in a few divisions. The men's tag division got a real jolt, the Owen Hart matches delivered, MJF got his big ego celebration, and Kevin Knight kicked things off trying to explain himself in a promo segment that did nobody any favors.Jericho beat Ricochet in a fun opener, Rush won a four-way that was basically just a bunch of moves, MJF celebrated becoming a three-time AEW World Champion before Mark Briscoe and Rush got involved, Brody King and Claudio beat each other up in a hard-hitting tournament match, and Cope & Cage finally got crashed into a new, fresh feud with The Dogs looking dangerous for once. That was smart booking. Very smart. The big negative? The women got almost nothing. One short TayJay squash and that's basically it. No women's Owen matches, barely any time, no real focus. That's not good enough, especially on a show that had time for plenty of other stuff. Fun show, yes. Balanced show? Not even close.Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production

AEW Dynamite on 5/20/26 was a very strange show, folks. A lot of noise, a lot of bodies flying around, a lot of “action”—but not always a lot of substance. You had Jericho teaming with The Young Bucks in a match full of interference, shillelaghs, random run-ins, onions in a bag—yes, onions—and a big Stadium Stampede preview brawl to close the segment. Just a pile of stuff.Mark Briscoe beat Tommaso Ciampa in an Anything Goes match, Swerve and Bandido had a chaotic pull-apart style segment, Moxley and Kyle O'Reilly went to a draw in a match that only woke people up at the very last second, the women's tag was a complete mess, and Darby Allin retained the AEW World Title against Speedball Mike Bailey in a title reign that, frankly, has not been working. In this review, I break down every match, every segment, what worked, what absolutely did not work, and why this show felt like a lot of motion without enough meaning. Big opinions, strong takes, no nonsense.Visit our website ➡️➡️➡️ https://www.majesticproduction.com/Watch our full podcast here ➡️➡️➡️ anchor.fm/majestic-production

Episode 232 - Darby Allin wakes up to find every single backstage worker shaved bald to mock MJF, which is one way to start the morning, and from there it's straight into Owen Tournament brackets, Ospreay tapping Ace Austin out with his first AEW submission ever, Kevin Knight retaining the TNT Title against a returning Brian Cage, Speedball calling out the world champ, Mark Briscoe coming back to declare the Word of the Day is "Reunification," Thekla hitting Hayter with a title belt for a rare AEW DQ, and Darby surviving Konosuke Takeshita to officially sign a hair vs. title contract for Double or Nothing while bleeding directly onto the paper. MJF then closes the show by spearing Darby through the table and getting run off by Kevin Knight. Diana Prince, Johnny Taylor, and Gringo Fantastico break it all down. Rate, review, and subscribe, or end up on the bald list with the rest of the AEW locker room. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. WWE's NXT put the women's division front and center once again, while AEW Grand Slam: Australia built on the back of two title changes -- and Getting Over is here to break it all down! Host Adam Silverstein tackles the latest from both brands: NXT [2:10] entering its new era behind Joe Hendry with Sol Ruca and Zaria reaching a boiling point and Tatum Paxley seemingly getting refreshed; AEW [28:25] putting Thekla over Kris Statlander and Kyle Fletcher over Tommaso Ciampa with MJF, Brody King and Hangman Page absent as Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland kicked off their feud. Welcome to Episode 168 of Wrestling Tonight, a mini episode powered by G FUEL, Dick Lazers, and Code TAVERN. Use code TAVERN to save 20 percent at GFUEL.com and DickLazers.com. Acefield Retro breaks down a weekend where AEW reinforces one of its most important global brands. This Saturday, February 14, AEW presents Grand Slam Australia 2026 live from Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. For U.S. viewers, the event airs at 8:00 PM Eastern on TNT and streaming on Max. Because the show takes place Sunday afternoon local time in Australia, the American broadcast will air on tape delay in prime time. The episode opens with the evolution of Grand Slam. What began in 2021 as a post-pandemic statement at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York — AEW's first stadium show in the largest media market in the United States — quickly became an annual tentpole. For four years, Grand Slam meant Arthur Ashe, championship implications, and major television moments. Then in 2025, the brand pivoted. Grand Slam Australia in Brisbane and Grand Slam Mexico at Arena México transformed the event from a New York tradition into a portable international showcase. The identity shifted from venue-based prestige to global expansion. Now Sydney becomes the next chapter. From there, the preview turns to the stakes without giving the outcomes away. MJF defends the AEW World Championship against Brody King after King pinned him in a World Title Eliminator. It's manipulation versus physical dominance, and Sydney becomes a defining checkpoint in MJF's reign. Jon Moxley defends the Continental Championship against Konosuke Takeshita in a rematch rooted in last year's Continental Classic. Pride and positioning collide. Kyle Fletcher and Mark Briscoe escalate their rivalry into a TNT Championship ladder match, raising the risk factor under Grand Slam lights. Hangman Page and Andrade El Ídolo battle for a future World Title opportunity, with long-term ripple effects tied directly to Revolution. The Women's World Tag Team Titles are on the line as the division continues to establish its identity on an international stage. And a mixed tornado tag with a hair-shaving stipulation guarantees visible consequence — the kind of moment Grand Slam has become known for. Episode 168 is a focused preview of a brand that started as a declaration in New York and has matured into a recurring global platform. From Arthur Ashe to Brisbane to Arena México and now Sydney, Grand Slam mirrors AEW's trajectory. Saturday night at 8:00 PM Eastern, the next chapter airs.

Ryan and Denton break down a loaded week in All Elite Wrestling as they review AEW Collision (January 31) and AEW Dynamite (February 4) with Grand Slam: Australia quickly approaching. On Collision, the Dudes discuss AEW's creative risk-taking with the upcoming Hair vs Hair tag match featuring Orange Cassidy & Toni Storm vs Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta, and why the storytelling around the match actually works. They also react to Tommaso Ciampa defeating Mark Briscoe to become the new TNT Champion and explain why Ciampa already feels more important in AEW than he ever did on WWE's main roster. On Dynamite, Ryan and Denton dive into the controversial — but intriguing — decision to have Brody King squash World Champion MJF in their eliminator match, instantly launching Brody into the world title picture heading into Grand Slam Australia. The guys also unpack the bizarre pre-taped segments involving Darby Allin being kidnapped and attacked by Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors, questioning the direction of Darby's character since his return at All In Texas. Plus, the shocking result of Andrade defeating Kenny Omega, the looming Adam Page vs Andrade showdown with a future AEW World Title opportunity on the line, and the escalating tension between Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland. The episode wraps up with AEW Highs & Lows of the Week — including Double Champions, The Don Callis Family, Darby Allin, Ciampa and more — before closing out with the Dudes' weekly LVD/MVD picks.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/two-dudes-with-attitudes-a-wrestling-podcast--5927275/support.
