Today's guest is the Co-Founder and CEO of Survey Shack, which is the first interactive, affordable, and informative self-survey app, guiding users through each step of the property survey process. He left school at 16 with a plan to trade derivatives then build something of his own and by 20, he was one of the youngest traders in London, learning to operate under pressure, think commercially, and back himself. At 18 he started buying property and later retrained as a surveyor, drawn to a profession where his output could start helping others. However, he kept seeing the same problems: deals collapsing, frustrated sellers, and a lack of clarity for buyers. Rather than keep explaining the flaws, he has set out to fix them and that is how Survey Shack began and a simple way for buyers and sellers to assess condition quickly and clearly at low cost. It reduces risk, saves time, and builds trust. We are changing the status quo.Survey Shack are now raising under EIS to scale across the UK and expand into B2B across the property spectrum.Their focus is tools that capture condition data at source and make decisions faster and fairer.Survey Shack is solving today's problems and building towards a future where fully autonomous condition assessments are the norm.In this episode, we discuss surveys, the process of moving home, what can be done to improve the industry, plus many more valuable topics.
Marcy Winograd and co-host Teri Mattson connect the dots from Medea Benjamin's hurricane-relief mission in Cuba to Trump's military escalation around Venezuela and Rep. Ilhan Omar's push to end unauthorized hostilities. They spotlight Pepperdine's hire of Johnny Moore and the Gaza “humanitarian” scandal, lift up divest-from-war campaigns, and echo Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson on how mass incarceration, sanctions, and endless wars stem from the same sickness: empire, plus a rapid-fire quiz on nukes and militarism. In the second half, Marcy and Rick Chertoff unpack “What's Missing in Holocaust Education,” centering the Nakba, free inquiry in classrooms, and how to teach liberation, not propaganda.
Happy Halloween

In Episode 228 of the Six Weeks to Fitness podcast, we had the privilege of welcoming a true force of nature—Carol Glasgow. At 61 years young, Carol is shattering stereotypes and proving that strength, elegance, and age can absolutely co-exist. A 4th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido, self-defense and kickboxing instructor, and founder of Kick Fever Fitness, Carol embodies what it means to age powerfully and purposefully. Born and raised in London, Carol was an athlete from an early age, later relocating to the gritty streets of Brooklyn, New York. There, she honed her craft in the martial arts world—an arena often dominated by men—and emerged as a respected leader and inspiration for women of all ages. During the interview, Carol shared how martial arts gave her more than just physical strength. It taught her discipline, perseverance, and self-belief. From earning her first black belt in 2001 to her 4th degree in 2024, she emphasized that the journey was never just about the belts—it was about personal growth, patience, and becoming the best version of herself. Carol also delved into the mental and emotional benefits of martial arts for women, especially in a world where self-defense is more critical than ever. Her insights into confidence-building, body awareness, and emotional resilience resonated deeply. And yes—she even revealed her secrets to maintaining her chiseled six-pack abs, proving once again that age is merely a number. With nearly 30 years in the game, Carol continues to change lives through her fitness brand, Kick Fever Fitness. Her passion for helping women embrace both their femininity and fierceness is contagious—and her message is clear: You're never too old to start, and you're far stronger than you think. If you're seeking inspiration, empowerment, or just a reminder of what's possible with heart and hustle, don't miss this episode. Carol Glasgow is living proof that powerful women never age—they evolve.

After that they talked about the passive aggressive beef between former friends Drake and NBA superstar LeBron James and what led up to this situation and why is Drake feeling a way. Then they discussed the USA basketball team winning goal at the Paris Olympics and how does this team stack up against the dream team and the redeem team and who would win if they played against each other. Then they talked about complex list of the top 25 media personalities and DJ Akademiks being ranked number one over the likes of Joe Budden, Charlemagne tha god, million dollaz worth of game, drink champs, Vlad TV, and others. Then they talked about the YSL case and YSL Woody being it's star witness and him just admitting to the shooting of Rich Homie Quan's father's barbershop and other things on the stand. Then they talked about Blueface allegedly getting four years in prison and then they went into a strange conversation off the backs of blueface when it comes to kids not developing how they suppose to due to the parents taking drugs during pregnancy. https://www.youtube.com/c/BadSpeakersTV https://www.instagram.com/badspeakerspodcast https://www.tiktok.com/@badspeakerspodcast https://twitter.com/BadSpeakers https://www.facebook.com/badspeakerspodcast

You know what they say. War is hell. But this podcast isn't! Well, we don't think so anyway. But if you're a miserable little twat who spends his free time posting nonsensical reviews of movie podcasts on the Apple Podcasts app, you might think it's hell. But even then…chill dawg, it's not that serious. This is fun! We're here to have a good time! Is this movie a good time, though? Should it be? Should it even exist? Should America exist? All valid questions, some of which will be answered in our review of Alex Garland's new movie, “Civil War”. Back in November, I teased that I was starting a new position at my center. On December 1, I announced I was a part-time salary BCBA. I originally intended this podcast to be released that day but due to a number of issues, it kept getting pushed back. 3 months later we are finally releasing it! Truth be told that is a good thing! I know more about the position now, can truly explain my role, and help you all understand what my life looks like now! Enjoy!!
