@spanky discusses life as a professional sports bettor and interviews other professional bettors and bookmakers.
I have been an avid listener of The Be Better Bettors podcast for quite some time now and I must say that it is truly one of the best informational gambling podcasts out there. Having listened to Gambling With an Edge for years, I was pleasantly surprised to come across this show and I can confidently say that it easily competes with the top shows in the genre.
The best aspect of The Be Better Bettors podcast is its ability to provide a deep understanding of the sports betting industry and what drives it. As someone who has been betting on sports for over 25 years, I have read numerous books, participated in forums, and conducted countless hours of testing angles and theories. However, nothing has helped me more than listening to this podcast "between the lines" of each episode. The host, Sparky, is incredibly knowledgeable about the industry and he never hesitates to share his insights. The content provided in each episode is evergreen and has truly helped me become a more informed bettor.
On the downside, one could argue that Sparky's wealth of knowledge and willingness to share everything with his audience could potentially hurt his own earnings. It is rare to find someone who is so open about their strategies and insights, as most successful bettors tend to guard their secrets closely. While I respect Sparky's generosity in sharing so much valuable information, it does make me wonder if he might be giving away too much.
In conclusion, The Be Better Bettors podcast is a must-listen for anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the sports betting industry. Not only does Sparky bring on guests you won't hear anywhere else, but his interview style allows for in-depth conversations that touch on both historical and current aspects of betting. Furthermore, listening to the life stories of his guests provides valuable insight into what it takes to succeed in this profession. Despite being relatively new to podcasting, Sparky's content is second to none and I believe this show has the potential to become one of the top gambling podcasts on the market. If you're serious about improving your betting skills, give The Be Better Bettors podcast a listen - you won't be disappointed.
