Podcast by ComicsCast
As we head toward the end of the year, Hans Rollmann is joined by David Stephens from Timemasters Inc. as they reflect on some of the key moments - both good and bad - from 2018 in the world of comics!
In this week's episode, our comic critics discuss the dystopic sci-fi graphic novel Decelerate Blue, by Adam Rapp and Mike Cavallaro (published 2017 by First Second). The authors present a nightmarish world that bears far too close a resemblance to our own!
In this episode, our Comic Critics take a look at Kill Shakespeare, the intriguing series by Anthony Del Col, Conor McCreery, and Andy Belanger. They discover it's impossible to talk about it without also discussing Bill Willingham's series 'Fables.' Kill Shakespeare deserves praise for its innovative concept and its artwork, but its language, narrative and representation of women is more problematic.
In this episode of the podcast, special guest David Stephens from comic shop TimeMasters Inc., joins us to offer some recommendations and reflections on comics. From superheroes to obscure bio-pics, from the power of landscape art to the allure of old samurai films, we pick Stephens' brain on all things comic-related!

The Outside Circle is drawn from the author’s twenty years of work and research on healing and reconciliation of gang-affiliated or incarcerated Aboriginal men.
