Most Christians today claim not to be an evangelist, yet we enthusiastically promote the products that we love and enjoy in everyday life. Why is that? Simply put, we've had a great experience worth telling about. Maybe we don’t evangelize because we've never truly experienced salvation in Jesus Christ. Join us this week as Bro. Gary teaches the vitality of truly understanding and boldly sharing our faith!
“It’s not good for the man to be alone” (Gen 2:18) From the beginning of creation, God intended marriage to complete us in a way. This is why the bible says, “the two shall become one flesh.” (Gen 2:24) But what does the bible say about being single? Join us this week as Bro. Gary Morgan shows us the true Blessings of being single.
More and more professing American Christians are failing in their ability to articulate the Gospel. Many who believe they are saved are in fact far from salvation. We often misunderstand the vitality of repentance. Join us this week as Bro Gary clarifies the Order of salvation, and its importance in your life.
Over the lifetime of the Hebrew Nation, the Israelites often lost their faith. Parents were charged to pass down their faith in God to the next generation. Gary inspires the fathers of this generation to take their Biblical charge, cling to and pass down their faith.
Why do we do the things that we do, or follow the trends that we follow? Did we ask God about any of it beforehand? When King David tried to move the Ark of the Covenant, he did it wrong and brought the wrath of the Lord down upon them simply out of ignorance. Many times we find ourselves in the same kind of a mess. Join us this week as Bro. Gary shows us the importance of consulting Gods Word before all else.
Many times, we tend to put ourselves in Joseph’s shoes through the book of Genesis. But what if we are actually closer in relation to the brothers? What if we are actually the wrongdoers rather than the ones being wronged? Join us this week as Bro Gary closes out our study of Joseph with a hard lesson in grace!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. While it may look like a happy family portrait, sometimes those words tell a story of division, disgust, and despair. Chris Maddox shows us the power of forgiving others and ourselves.
They say hindsight is 20/20. Many times, we face a trial with total tunnel vision. All we can see is the trial at hand, yet we cannot see what God is doing in our lives. James tells us in chapter one to take joy in our trials as they produce perseverance and endurance, ‘TRUE GRIT.’ It’s only when we look back that we see what God has done. Join us this week as Bro. Gary teaches us how to discover the joy in our trials.
When life seems to be at a total loss, when nothing looks good, we can lean on our faith in God to pull us through. Joseph had a great life, he seemed to have it all. But he was taken and sold into slavery. He had nothing to live for, yet because of his dreams, he clung to the faith that God had a big plan for him. Join us this week as Bro. Gary Continues our study of Joseph!
Satan’s Goal Many times, trials come at us when we are most vulnerable. Satan’s plan is to kick us while we are down. In Matthew Chapter 4 we see that Jesus was tempted by Satan while he was vulnerable. But these trials are powerless! The trials themselves can not destroy you, however, your reaction is what the enemy is after. Join us this week as Bro. Gary continues our 6-week study in the life of Joseph.
Trials come at us in so many forms. Sometimes they come at us from God or Satan, and sometimes they come from other people or of our own doing. Joseph had a hard life, he was sold into slavery, wrongly imprisoned, but God had control over his life every step of the way. Join us this week as Bro Gary kicks off our 6-week study into the hard life of Joseph and see just how God might be using your trial for His glory!
"He has risen! He has risen indeed!" The ancient church would greet one another with this saying any time they would meet with one another. Yet today we say "Happy Easter." Gary teaches us why we absolutely must believe in the resurrection!
The book of Malachi is about a nation estranged from God. He saw all the wicked things the people were doing and said to them, “Return to me and I will return to you.” But exactly how were the people to return to God? It was through their tithes and offerings. But why this? Why is this one specific act of worship what God focuses on here? Join us this week as Bro. Gary Continues our study in the book of Malachi.
Sometimes relationships just don’t work out the way we want. No matter how hard we try to work at it, it never gets to a place of reconciliation. In a case like this, an apology is due. But does simply saying “I’m sorry” fix it? What about our relationship with the Lord? How do we apologize to God? Join us this week as Bro Gary continues our study through the book of Malachi and shows us the redemptive nature of God.
In Malachi’s day, a wicked people who thought they were righteous begged for the justice of the Lord to come down on the people around them. Yet they did not realize that when the Lord comes, not even one of them could stand in his presence. They needed to be cleansed. This purification or “sanctification” process is abrasive, and in many cases painful. But none of us will enter the kingdom of God without it. Join us this week as Bro. Gary Continues our study in the book of Malachi.
Gods favor is tangible evidence that you have his approval. But what happens when that evidence is no longer present? Can we lose favor with God? Biblically speaking, when we dishonor God he will no longer accept our worship. That being said, can our relationship with our spouse affect our relationship with God? Join us this week as Bro. Gary hits a hard topic and walks us through the truth of divorce!
