In this episode we had the honor to interview our 4th child, Joy, and her husband Bobby. Joy is our only daughter, married at 22 years old, moved to Corpus, where she teaches Jr. High School. She is a musician, blogger, and dog lover. Bobby works with children with special needs, and a musician & dog lover. They both participate in Cross Fitness, volunteer time as Youth Pastors and love serving the community. They are a perfect match for each other. We have seen them interact with one another with respect and love, is it because they are newly weds or is their more to their family dynamics? What motivates them to volunteer, stand up for their values and have the motivation to serve? You are welcome to listen in on this fun-loving, moment-of-truth episode. In this podcast we share insights on the power of words. Blessing or curses, words make a difference in your life. It is a God-given ability and power, to use words to make things happen. It starts in your mind, then you begin to declare it. Saying it is declaring it. When our Creator created the world, all He had to do was speak it and it came to existence. So, we must be careful what we say about self and others. In the same principle, what others say about you is valid, so, we have the power to accept others words or decline them.
Grandchildren bring so much happiness to our lives, it's indescribable. We take every opportunity to be with them, we don't want to take our kids place in raising them, we just want to add to the happiness by showing up. Show up in their lives, be present, stay involved. The payoffs are going to be immeasurable. They are our legacy. Grandparent well.

Our children will replicate what we do, the blessings will pour on them as well.
