Fourpure Podcast Episode 21 - Asheville Road Trip 2018 by Fourpure Brewing Co.

In this episode of the Fourpure podcast, we speak to three of the many new starters that have joined the company in the last few months. We speak to Andrea and Jessica who work in the lab, as well as Andrew who works in packaging. Jimmy has been working with us for three years. We talk to him about if he expected things to turn out at Fourpure as he expected. Jethro joins the two-year club, but is most excited to tell us about developments on the sensory side of things. Finally, Adrian looks back at his trip to Asheville, North Carolina, and looks forward to Fourpure Brewing Co's 5th birthday party! HAPPY BIRTHDAY US!

On July 9, 2018, Fourpure Brewing Company's co-founders, Dan and Tom Lowe announced that the brewery had been sold to Australia's Lion group. Reporting from the announcement event, we caught up with Dan and Tom to get their take on it, as well as Adrian Lugg and Rob Davies. We also spoke to Lion's CEO Stuart Irvine and Managing Director of Global Markets Matt Tapper, along with Regional Director Toby Knowles. In it, we learn the motivations behind the sale, what we can expect in the future and a personal take on the sale. Listen in.

Summer is coming and we at Fourpure are gearing up for the Continental Collaboration tour. On a sunny day in Bermondsey, we catch up with Nick, Naomi and Rach who are part of our new starters spot. Jim joins our two-year club and looks at just how far Fourpure has come in this short space of time, as well a little look into his crystal ball. We also speak to Head Brewer John and Jethro who recently returned from a trip to the Craft Brewers Conference in Nashville to learn about new trends, new skills and where Fourpure stands up alongside the established craft brewers in the US.

It's April 2018, and we're in Bermondsey documenting life at the Fourpure brewery. In this episode, we hear from our Dear Leader Dan Lowe to find out how his day pans out. We speak to new(ish) starters Neil and Julio, and Will joins the two-year club with aplomb and a mystery beer. Ollie talks through a frankly delicious beer, a tonka bean white stout (really!).
