Dešava se da mi kaže kako sam prema Filipu drugačija nego što sam bila prema njemu, kao što Džou njegovi sinovi nekad spočitaju da sad ima više vremena i strpljenja, ali to je tako, drugačije je kad u mladosti dobijete decu, a paralelno jurite karijeru i imate drugačije poglede na život“, priča Katarina. Deci, kažu, daju punu slobodu, ne ograničavaju ih, a oni su danas, bar ovi odrasli, pokazali da su izrasli u samostalne, nezavisne i uspešne ljude. „Filip je jako odgovoran, vredan, ali voli i da se igra i odmara, kao i svako dete. Iako ga ne ograničavamo, puštamo ga da sam sebe nekako kontroliše i zaista se to dešava. Kao da sam proceni kad je dosta, nikada ne preteruje, ali tu su ključni modeli koje ima u kući - nas. Kakav je roditelj, takvo će biti i dete, bar dok je malo“, kaže Katarina. Na to se Đorđe nadovezuje i kroz osmeh dodaje da je Filip još i jedini koji ih sluša. „Ovi ostali su odrasli, imaju svoje obaveze, dnevne rutine, i teško ih je sve okupiti na istom mestu, u isto vreme. Dešava se da smo za istim stolom i zajedno ručamo, ali uvek neko završi ranije, mora da ide i tako se jurimo sa vremenom“, kaže Đorđe. On ističe da kao mlađi nije imao mnogo vremena za decu i da bi danas neke stvari drugačije uradio, ali opet, kad ih vidi u kakve su ljude izrasli, bude mu lakše. Ponosan je na svu svoju decu, a sa Andrejem je danas i kolega. „Često smo zajedno u sali i voli da me nervira. On priča tokom operacije, i dozvoljavam mu, a pre njega, kad ste sa mnom u sali, to je bilo strogo zabranjeno. Vidim sebe u njemu kad sam bio tih godina“, kaže Đorđe sa ponosom u glasu. Kad je organizacija života u pitanju, Katarina tvrdi da je tu Đorđe glavni, iako on ističe da je ona ta koja ustaje u pet ujutru, sve ih po kući budi i podseća na dnevne zadatke. Sve u svemu, jasno je da bračni par Bajec jedno drugo prati, dopunjavaju se i dogovaraju, a na razumevanju, poverenju i međusobnom divljenju, koje među njima vlada, možemo samo da im pozavidimo. „Podrška je ključna i priznajem da bi mi bilo daleko teže u nekim situacijama u životu da nije bilo Džoa. Kada sam se drugi put porađala, on je bio tu i osećala sam se sigurnije. Takođe, kada sam operisala benigni tumor na dojci, to sam i učinila jer je on insistirao, a ja mu verujem i dok god je negde tu da nadgleda, bezbedna sam“, zaključuje Katarina sa osmehom koji sa lica, kako kaže i njen suprug, nikada ne skida.
