In this episode Richard A Kiers chats with me about the life that inspired his book and freedom work.  His heart felt and thought provoking reflections and insights on stepping into the fear to move beyond it to explore personal freedom.  Richard shared his compelling story of a childhood in the cult in his brand new book, SWINDLED BY FAITH. He is a survivor of a mind controlling cult referred to as "The Move", founded by Sam Fife, in the 1960's, this repressive cult grew to hold approximately 44,000 members at its peak.  Listen as Richard and I talk about how his choice impacted his closest relationships. He shares a bit of what he's learned and how he has found peace. We also learn about his passion to help other families struggling with similar issues. Winnipeg Mom wrote "Raising Hope"   is a true story of a mother’s unending love for her second child, named Hope, who was born with Wolf-Hirschhorn, a rare genetic syndrome. She says she "came into this world to teach others about what unconditional love really means and how that needs to be protected."
