Or do we have to fit in?When we have been kids, we wanted to be accepted and to participate in a group which we like. Before we, my twin brother and I, took birth our parents didn't like to get a new baby. And this feeling they had conversed during the pregnancy. If an embryo is unwanted, it feels that (see Prenatal conditioning). This feeling “to be unwanted” will stay our whole life and it is a hindrance to approach people. Every 4th baby is in Germany an unwanted child and similar it is everywhere. If we are unwanted children, we feel like a misfit. This is just an old program get rid of it. If we don't fit in a group, or somewhere else, we accept that. It is better to be alone than to be together with the wrong people. This might not be right for everybody. The question is should I fit in or should I be a misfit?I am a raw cost eater, a guy who loves God, Meditation, Chi Gong, taking no drugs and who loves to live a healthy lifestyle. I am a misfit. And the mass is always wrong! See my blog before. We harvest the fruits of our right doings and wrong doings. Regardless if we match to the society or group in which we live or not.It is easier to change ourselves than a group. If we want to live a healthy and excellent life we will become a misfit. And then we think, how would it be to change the environment in which we live to fit in a group. I have tried out this too. The problem is that I love to change my life frequently. What was yesterday right might be tomorrow wrong! Jimmy Rogers said within 10 years mainly all things have changed and so we must adapt. Otherwise, we can't solve the today problems. The conservative or old people don't like to change. The conservative people and old people are the misfits and not we…Even it looks that we are the misfits. How to enjoy my life more… Ask this question every day and change your life to become happier. How to have more fun…Without excellent health, everything is in vain ... Ask: How I can improve my health every day…Our food is mandatory, so eat healthy food with Vitamins and enzymes… so raw cost is the best…Regardless how much time I had spent on improving my health, it never had been in vain. I benefited much more from that than anything else in my life!Chi-Gong is magic. If you see this video from the 118 years old Lu Zijian, how vigorous and relaxed he is, even much more than most of us, … Even 278 years was possible with Chi-Gong together with healthy food and herbs. This means to learn the right Chi- Gong is the very best…I practice his Chi Gong and also from other masters. With my Chi- Gong my brain increased, my fitness got better and total healthy… With the Chi-Gong from Lu Zijian, I get instantly blissful. It is so powerful, I have integrated his Chi Gong in all of my Chi-Gongs.Self-massage or acupressure will help a lot… Sport and exercise is a must. Who don't do it will suffer later!Spirituality/Religion and personal growingWe all have so many flaws in our personality, and through them, we and our environment will suffer. If we want to enjoy our life, we should try to become better every day. If we do so, we gain the grace of the Lord, and he will give us bliss and love. We can only achieve true happiness and love through the spiritual growth, with meditation, yoga, Chi-Gong... If we think we have no time for that, then we have no time to enjoy our life! How much hours you have to work for your car, and after some time the car is worthless… If you had spent this time to build up spirituality and health … Your life would be excellent.Goal setting. The human need progress without progress life would be useless… We need for ourselves goals in personal growth, for our courier, body, family… So fewer goals we set so more we can accomplish. Focus on fewer things, instead to be overwhelmed from too many goals. My Video: What are the 5 things to focus on? https://youtu.be/ckoyVAJKIl8My Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/What-are-the-4-things-to-focus-on.mp3
Do you wait that one day your dream life will start… that all of your deepest desires will be fulfilled? Maybe this day will never happen. If you read all these awesome miraculous stories from these great stars, holy people in the world. No story is true! With these stories, they like to catch you. Sell dreams and deliver B.S.! That have all these stories in common. Because we are all human being, and nobody is perfect. Last time I heard a price winning speech from a young Sikh and he told from these so called marvelous stories, they are all fabricated, he proved it with Gandhi (who had sexually assaulted women). Your dream life doesn't need to happen, you can enjoy your life now. You need just to change your attitude, and your remarkable life starts now.How to live a miraculous life? 1) Do something you are passionate about every day!For me is it Writing, Meditation, and Chi Gong. For instance: Chi Gong is magic. Now I need only 700 calories every day, and even with that, I put on weight; I should write a book with this title. I have to stop because I want to serve you!2) Practice a daily act of generosity. It doesn't need something great. Give something for free, don't be stingy. This will change our egotistical attitude, be generous.3) Feel good, regardless what!We all have to suffer through the circumstances in life. Still, we should look that we enjoy at least one moment every day. Do something that you really enjoy. 4) Be thankful for everything. If I make a mistake, I say thank you that nothing worse has happened. And through these acknowledge of my mistakes nothing worse will happen. How would it be if we give thanks when even our next one is making a mistake? There is no end where we can not say thank you for!5) Unschedule your lifeLess is much more! We need time to relax and to reflect on our mistakes. So fewer things we schedule so more we can enjoy every moment of our life. People who do less are more relaxed. 6) Take one little step towards your dream every day…And enjoy this action and be thankful that you do so. 7) Connect with the divineFor everybody it is different. For instance: sing full of passion a song for God. Meditate, do Chi Gong, pray full of emotion to God, read a holy book, go to a temple,… 8)Open up your heart and become vulnerable. Even it hurts many times, only so we can receive love, affection and be human.9) Trust in God that everything is running in your favor! Even it looks so bad. We are always in the right place to learn the right things to go forwards. From my worst times, I had the best for my life. Can you say this too? My Video: How to live a miraculous life? https://youtu.be/BSYxUppWu4sMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/How-to-live-a-miraculous-life.mp3
If we court up in a devastating situation, like a divorce, or failed the examination, we lose our self-esteem and self-confidence.In life, we can not always win, so we have to learn to get back fast on track. We even don't need to be in a such a bad situation when we had reacted smartly… You agree? We think that all of our acquisitions and our goals are very important and that is our mistake. When we imagine we lying on our deathbed, do you think that mostly what we have done or got is important? NopeWhy is our today failing so meaningful? Because we have invested very much of our energy, money and now we have lost it.Billionaire Flick was 4 times bankrupt and done it again and again! Why could Flick become a Billionaire again and again? Because he had learned that! The learning is more important than the acquisition! And the knowledge can't be lost through a failure, even more through the failures we learn much more.If we got divorced? Great!!! You think you have failed, sure because you have married!!!Can you forecast how you will be in 10 years:2.) What desires you have?3.) What habits have you gained?4.) How beautiful are you?5.) How wealthy are you?6.) How healthy are you?7.) Can you forecast how your spouse will be in 10 years?8.) How many children will you have?9.) How sweet, healthy, smart, beautiful your kids will be?The divorce rates depend on the country and are between 20% to 70%. Many countries like Thailand even cheat the statistic. In Germany are over 90% of the wives unhappy with their spouse after 5years, and the divorce rate is over 40%. And for a husband is it so expensive to separate. Marriage is risky. If you can't predict and control your wedding, how can you be a failure when you divorce? You can only be a failure when you didn't have learned anything! When we end in a catastrophe, we believe there is no solution anymore, and that is mainly wrong! The problem is that we are so much under tension that we can't see a way out! And even if the people give us the solution we can't adapt it! Our identification is our problem, nothing else! How to get rid of identification? Through Meditation! And then we lose our self-confidence and self-esteem. For What? We should not build our self-esteem on our acquisitions and goals. Because if we fail, we lose our self-esteem and self-confidence.Real self-esteem comes from inside, and we can build it up from inside through Meditation and Chi-Gong. Emotions and thoughts are energy, and with Chi-Gong we can move and alter our energy. And this works since 1000 of years and even today!!!!What to do?When we are in a life struggle, we exhaust our body with sport or dancing like crazy to reduce our tension, anger, sadness. Boxing would be great!!! Afterward, we meditate or do our Chi-Gong. And so we build up our real self-esteem.We can have great self-esteem and a lousy self-confidence.We can't always be right or do the right thing, so we must fail. Until we don't lose our self-esteem, everything is good enough. We choose to give up our perfectionism! My video: How to gain Self-esteem when we lose? https://youtu.be/9HgQxievaNwMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/How-to-gain-Self-esteem-when-we-lose.mp3
If there are no hell or heaven, then we have to enjoy the here and now; otherwise, our life is ruined. How can we enjoy our life when we:1.) Cheat,2.) Lie,3.) Steal,4.) Kill,5.) Are cruel,6.) Are stingy,7.) Are furious8.) Are jealous,9.) Are unrighteous,10.) … ?If we do negative things, we can get an adverse outcome…If we harm other people or harbor negative feelings against other people inside of ourselves, we attract an undesirable result for our life. How we deal with other people, we also deal with ourselves…A real happy person is trying his best to live a healthy life without unnecessary harming anybody and is seeking to improve his character, his habits every day. A happy person decides to accept everybody and to love as many people as possible…If we want to enjoy our life we live a healthy, long life, we are vegan because we don't want to harm our lovely animals and not poison our body with acid meat. With the right exercise, healthy food and Chi Gong we remain fit and vigorous until our death, -see Master Lu Zijian with 118 years making his Chi Gong.We don't take any drugs because drugs make everything worse and drugs are only for cowards who are even afraid of their own feelings. For what is a religion?A genuinely religious person is blissful if he remembers God or if he is raising his energy from his lowest chakra upwards. A religious person is humble and happy with every outcome. Because he knows that God knows it better than himself what is right for him. A religious person is surrendering his life to God and is getting the blessing and happiness of God. For sure a genuinely happy person is also a religious person. Why is a happy person also attracting disaster, struggles, dramas in his life?Have you tried to write on a whiteboard with a white chalk?Through our Challenges in life, we can enjoy our life even more, and we grow inside and become better. What is wrong with a drama? If we want to accomplish a challenging goal, then we have to go out of our comfort zone. For sure we will be challenged! But if we are cowards, we never like to risk anything! The risk for a meaningful life is always a drama. Through our agonies, we can learn so much! And also, we build up a deeper God connection. Without tough times we never have the chance to develop a loving relationship with God… The worst times are the best times. For what we need the hell and heaven if everything is a blessing of God?My video: Are there no hell or heaven? https://youtu.be/a915HOZ-TjEMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/Are-there-no-hell-or-heaven.mp3
Actually, sadness is transformed anger in to be overwhelmed, hopeless, to give up or to be the loser. Anger is a great motivator to change our situation to a better outcome, with sadness we have given up already. It is mostly of the case really necessary for changing our lives, our situation, that we have first anger. With anger, we have so much power and really can go for it. Anger is necessary!Never less it is disturbing to be angry for ourselves and for others. We are much more effective and happy if we are relaxed and free of anger. How to calm down?We feel or imagine our anger and make Sport and strong workouts. We feel or imagine our anger, and we beat our bed with a tennis racket instead our children, life is easier…To learn and to train any martial art, great for angry children and grown-ups. Garden work. For instance, if we pull out the weed we ground our anger…We wash our cloth, and imagine at the same time, an angry picture of killing … anger is done.Chi Gong. If we get angry quite fast, then our anger level is too high. Anger is connected to the liver and to the sound Sh. The virtue of the liver is compassion. So we have to transform our anger into compassion. With the Chinese inner organ massage and the sound Sh, we reduce our Anger. On the right side of our body, under the rib cage is the liver. We approach the rib cage from the belly and then grip with both hands under our rib cage as deeply as possible. We feel or imagine our anger. Start to massage the liver under the rib cage making the 'Sh' sound. After some time we alter the procedure, tap this area on the ribs with one hand, lay the other hand on the navel chakra and continuously make the 'Sh' sound. We can make the sound Sh also silent, when necessary. This procedure we do for 3- 5 minutes. In the end, we place both hands above our liver and feel thankful for our liver and imagine that a green light is entering our liver. We do this procedure every day. I do it every day 2 times. Believe me, one thing it works, even it had worked for warriors when they were coming home from the war!!!! This procedure is also good to heal our liver. See my video…My video: What we do with Anger? https://youtu.be/iilO3QuDFPMMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.A/What-we-do-with-Anger.mp3
In this week's episode I'm chatting with a lovely guest. I've been on her podcast "Chat off the Mat" and I'm happy to return the favour. Welcome to Rose Wippich, Reiki Master, Yoga and QiGong Teacher and Energy Priestess. Rose has a very special and empowering story about Reiki and healing and how everything in her life fell into place as she trusted her Intuition while moving forward in her life. In this episode we talk about: Rose shares her story of hitting a low point in her 30s after a series of relationship breakups. This led her to discover yoga, which helped her feel more grounded and start the healing process. Rose then had a transformative Reiki session where she had a vision of her deceased mother showing her two baby bottles, indicating that she would have twins in the future, even though she did not have a partner at the time. Years later, Rose did get married and became pregnant with identical twin boys, despite being considered a high-risk pregnancy at age 40. When Rose's twin sons were diagnosed with a condition called neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) as young children, Rose became a Reiki practitioner herself to help support her sons' health and well-being. Through regular Reiki sessions, her sons were able to manage the condition without major complications. Rose credits her intuition, spiritual practices, and the Reiki energy work as key factors in her personal healing journey and her ability to support her children's health. Rose explains how she uses Yoga, Reiki and Chi Gong and how they complement each other Rose shares her desire to bring those modalities, especially QiGong which is the less known, to more people so they can learn to become aware of energies and heal themselves. Rose offers a special discount for the listeners of Intuitive Queens Podcast for her programme. By entering CODE: ENERGY, you'll get a 10% discount on her programme. We all should consider living a life that is worth to live so that we don't regret that we have wasted our time for meaningless things. I got 2 studies about the regrets of terminal ill people. I wish I followed my dreams and aspirations, and not to live the life that others expected of me. Don't live your life for somebody else, live it for yourself. For sure we have to compromise. Still, we can live our things that are important for us. For instance regardless with which woman I was together, I made every day my meditation, exercise, Chi Gong, and ate my healthy food. And I never forced my spouse to follow me up!!!I wish I didn't work so hard. - I think we all have to work at least sometimes very hard. And I don't bother for that. We should not make a habit out of hard working. Because it will harm everything in our life. I got so sick of too hard working that I nearly died! Just to work very hard for more money doesn't work out to live a happy, fulfilled life.I wish I had the courage to express my feelings and speak my mind. If we don't express our feelings and our opinions; we get isolated, can't build up a real connection to people in our life and eventual we harbor so many suppressed negative feelings inside of ourselves so that we can't enjoy our life anymore. I wish, I had stayed in touch with my friends. If we are dying, we are missing our friends and really could see that instead of meeting our friends we wasted our time on Facebook, Smartphone, TV… How is it, just to phone right now your friends, spouse, parent, and say lovely words? I wish I had let myself be happier. -Ask yourself right now, How you can enjoy your life more! And this ask every single day! And do it. This was my biggest regret when I lost my life (I was 3 times clinical dead, already). Not to travel when you had the chance. You can gather billions of Dollars, at the end of your life only the beautiful moments are counting… and that are for many people the holidays abroad!!!Staying in a bad relationship… Common, every relationship we can change to a good one. If we can't change the relationship, have the bones and go out of the relationship. When I as a child watched the horrifying relationship of my parents, I got so scared, I suffered so much! Believe me one thing, if you don't do it for yourself, do it for your children.Caring too much about what other people think. We are not so important, nobody is thinking about us so much, then our self. In any case, it is their projection what they think… who cares? Not playing with your kids enough… Instead to play on the smartphone (60% of the children complain that their parents are playing too much on the smartphone!).Never have taken a big risk. Not quitting a terrible job. If we can't enjoy our job, we try piece by piece to change our attitude so that we can enjoy our worst task! And risk afterward, we do that with every task. Or get another job. (Remember that you maybe get in the same worse situation when you change the terrible job). Not to realize how beautiful you are… learn to love yourself. Why is the state of health in this country in such flux? Why are there so many medical errors? Would you like to feel more in control of your health? Would you like to feel better and more vibrant every day? Today's guest is Mark Mincolla, Ph.D. He is a natural health care practitioner who has transformed the lives of thousands of people for many decades. Dr. Mincolla has integrated ancient Chinese energy techniques with cutting-edge nutritional science in what has become his Whole Health Healing System, which includes the innovative Electromagnetic Muscle Testing system (EMT). Dr. Mincolla uses elements of classical Chinese medicine, personalized nutrition, and extrasensory energy medicine, while inspiring, empowering, and teaching people how to attain balance in body, mind, and spirit. He talks about how to tap into our own instincts for healing. This involves our thoughts and energy signatures. We are born with innate healing abilities which we can further develop. Many people shun their abilities and tend to believe everything that doctors and healthcare professionals tell them. He talks about how we can find our answers as well. Dr. Mincolla explains about acupuncture points in our hands which neutralize stress and help for better sleep. He discusses mental Chi Gong and how we can use our intentions for healing. Our thoughts can move energy. Our thoughts produce chemistry. Using positive words all have a neurological value which can also help with healing. Tune into your thoughts. Aim to replace negative thoughts with positive words. Each word has a different energy signature which can change and alter your nervous system. We need to be involved in our own health. You can empower yourself, balance your own energies, and heal! Dr. Mincolla is the author of “Whole Health: A Holistic Approach to Healing for the 21st Century.” Info: www.MarkMincolla.com
If men want to date women, they experience fears of rejection, not to be good enough and fear to fail to get her… And their own fears reject the women they like to get… If we have fear or negative feelings harbor inside of us, that are against or desire, then these negative feelings will sabotage our outcome!!! Our inner child is afraid to get punished from that girl, and so we will get tension, and the inner child will do everything not to get that girl!!! If we deny our negative feelings, they grow and resist to the things that we want… And that is true for everything in our life… We should feel our negative emotions to get rid of them, instead of just doing it in any way without to feel our negative emotion. (Just breath deep in your negative emotions until they are gone) Imagine somebody is approaching you, is forced to speak in a calm, relaxed way to you, - to get you… Do you think that is fun? It is rather more disgusting. Everybody can detect that lousy attitude, the tension of that guy, the wrong body posture, the shallow eye contact, the artificial voice, the fake smile, or the drugs he had taken. Get rid of our fears. This cute girl that we must have can be the worst witch in the Galaxy… Who knows? How would it be if we change our mind and think without to want to get her: (Don't put yourself under pressure!)let see what kind of girl that is, how to entertain that girl, how to have fun with that girl.Or just go to her and say for instance: You are the most beautiful girl I have seen, my heart is running like crazy, and I love to get in touch with you… What is if that girl is engaged in a conversation, busy, reading a book and you are scared to contact her?Approach her, and say sorry that I disturb you… I am so attracted to you, I want to get in touch with you… Is it possible to speak with you … The next stupid thing is to talk like a machine gun, to know for everything an answer… The speaking too much indicates our fear. Still, you say what you like about her. Speak less, feel much and look for the right moment to approach her when she is getting weak, - touch her, embrace her, kiss her, and…. I was with so many girls in the bed without knowing her name or had spoken many words…When I was in my twenties, I was shy, scared to stutter, afraid that the girl sees my paralyzed face, low self-esteem…I build up my self-esteem with therapy, Chi- Gong, and meditation. I went to self-experience groups, and there were at least 75% girls and only 25% boys… Easy to get there a girl!On a party, for instance, I looked in the eyes of an attractive girl, when she looked back, I smiled, she smiled … I approached her and then I embraced her without speaking anything. I was just checking always her signs… And this I could do everywhere. How have we ended up in a meaning crisis and what are the symptoms? Why is embodiment important to knowing? Why is an ecology of practices part of the solution? Today we have the growing issue of The Meaning Crisis to discuss, and the embodied practices that could offer a few solutions. This conversation is a part 2, following directly on from Episode #51, where John and I talked about Collective intelligence, and how the evolution of distributed cognition has led to homo-sapiens being such effective collaborators. It was so fascinating that we didn't have time to connect the sheer power of our collective intelligence, to today's discussion about what John has dubbed The Meaning Crisis. We come back to the importance of our propensity for self-transcendence, and the correspondent risk of self-delusion; how important a sense of the sacred is to our sense of meaning in life, to our mental health; then we zoom in on the importance of a range of embodied practices that John calls an ecology of practices, like Chi Gong, circling, flow states and meditation to re-discover lost forms of knowledge and embodied cognition that John thinks can bring us back from the brink of self delusion and self destruction. There is of course only one polymath who can speak about so many things and connect them all, like a ninja of the mind as one listener called him, the Cognitive scientist and philosopher John Vervaeke. Vervaeke is the director of the university of Toronto's Consciousness and Wisdom Studies Laboratory and its Cognitive Science program, where he teaches an Introduction to Cognitive Science and The Cognitive Science of Consciousness. Vervaeke has taught courses on Buddhism and Cognitive Science in the Buddhism, Psychology, and Mental Health programs for 15 years. He is also the author and presenter of his much loved YouTube series “Awakening from the Meaning Crisis” and ‘After Socrates.' What we discuss: 00:00 Intro 06:15 Self-transcendence VS self-delusion. 07:45 The ‘frame' problem, the need to ignore many things to attend to the ‘salient' ones. 12:30 The history of meaning in the west. 17:00 The history of religion and philosophy: connectedness across generations. 20:00 Pre-agricultural sacred practices and rituals. 22:30 The upper palaeolithic transition - the artistic, technical, and symbolic. 24:30 The axial revolution - numeracy, literacy and democracy. 27:30 The ‘2 world' mythology revolution - the natural and supernatural. 29:30 The scientific revolution - the collapse of the 2 world mythology. 31:20 The impossible promise of scientism. 38:00 The difference between wisdom and knowledge. 43:00 Participatory knowledge - graspable, shapable knowledge. 45:00 Gnosis - embodied knowledge. 49:30 The importance of the sacred to meaning. 54:00 Maladaptive replacement of religion with consumerism. 57:45 A relationship with the transcendent. 59:00 Becoming mature is about facing reality. 01:01:00 Loss of epistemic humility. 01:04:00 Loss of wonder 01:05:00 Humility + Wonder = reverence. 01:06:09 The disappearing of traditional men's roles. 01:17:30 The changing of women's roles. 01:23:50 Direct embodied experience 01:26:00 An ecology of practices - there is no single panacea practice 01:30:20 Dialogical over monological reasoning - we don't become wise in isolation. 01:33:40 Flow States and the lowering of the ego mind. 01:38:00 Circling: Listening as an intentional action 01:41:30 Meditation helps break mental frames. 01:46:40 The lowering of the Default Mode Network 01:50:20 Tai Chi and Qigong. 01:53:45 ‘Transjective' embodiment References: John Vervaeke, “Awakening from the meaning crisis”, You Tube lecture series. This was another amazing collaboration with Brian Larson,.he helped create this amazing experience. Chi, also known as qi or ki, is a fundamental concept in Eastern philosophy and medicine, particularly in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese Reiki, and Korean Sasang. It is believed to be the vital life force energy that flows through all living beings and the universe itself. In Eastern thought, chi is considered essential for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. It is believed to circulate through the body along pathways called meridians, nourishing organs and tissues. When chi flows freely and is balanced, a person is thought to be healthy and vibrant. However, blockages, imbalances, or depletion of chi can lead to various health issues, both physical and psychological. Cultivating chi offers a wide array of benefits that can profoundly impact an individual's overall well-being. One of the most significant advantages is improved health, as harmonizing and balancing the flow of chi in the body is believed to optimize the functioning of organs and systems, bolster the immune system, and promote faster healing. This enhanced vitality is often experienced as increased energy levels, stamina, and resilience in the face of stress or illness. Cultivating chi can also lead to greater mental clarity and emotional equilibrium. As chi circulates freely throughout the body and mind, it can help dissolve mental blockages, reduce anxiety and depression, and promote a sense of inner peace and tranquility. This clarity of mind enables you to navigate life's challenges with greater ease, making better decisions, and maintain a more positive outlook. Moreover, working with chi is often seen as a pathway to spiritual growth and self-realization. As one becomes more attuned to the subtle energies within and around them, they may experience a deepening connection to the universal life force, leading to a greater sense of purpose, meaning, and interconnectedness with all beings. As this podcast goes to air, we are moving through this season of Spring, and it's getting close to Summer. However, where I am, we have had several summer-like days. The cosmos has been alive. Planets are direct… and the sun has been releasing solar flares. Even down here in Alabama, we were able to see the northern lights. Pretty fascinating skies with all these cosmic forces. I think almost everyone is feeling the intensity of life right now. Lots of deep feelings and changes are coming forward. Most of us are still repatterning our paths from all that has occurred since the pandemic. Maybe we aren't talking about it, but it did create lots of instability, social insecurities, and fear. Many people are still finding themselves isolated, working online, not having to go to the office, resulting in some old habits that maybe aren't so healthy. This time of year, as the temperature rises and layers of clothing come off, it can bring up even more insecurities about our bodies. Yes, for me, it's swimsuit season, the outdoor pools open up, and yikes, body confidence is at play. Do you suffer with this? Does this add another level of stress and panic to your day? Do you walk into your clothes closet and have a panic attack or perhaps start the critical talk? Nothing fits. I look horrible.. these jeans really make me notice this muffin top.. yeah I could go on… I've been there.. said it all to myself.. but the truth is.. it doesn't work. Famous researcher Dr. Brene Brown talks about this.. when we shame ourselves It perpetuates the cycle. We continue doing the same behavior over and over.
Subscriber-only episodeIs it time to stop doing BJJ or is it time to pick up the pace? When you fall out of the habit of doing anything, studying, playing sport, creating art or practicing BJJ you start caring less. The intent you bring to your practice of BJJ starts to fall away if you are not placing a serious importance on what it means to you, without the regularity it's much easier to let it slip. If you spend more time around people who don't care about BJJ this attitude will rub off on you, the power of social osmosis does really affect the way we view the world. If you are questioning your dedication to the art, ask yourself are you in the Habit of practicing BJJ? If you aren't consistently training at least 3 x per week you are no longer in the habit which may put you on a downward spiral... and ultimately may result in your life taking a different path- which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Do you share techniques with your team mates? Do you like to coach the lower ranks? A friend of the Podcast took the time to share with a lower belt but then was victim of the technique he shared and now got an injury as a result. Was it a bed idea to share?JT & Joey take very different approaches to helping team mates when it comes to sharing techniques. Some people need help and guidance but others will work it out on their own and really it falls on you to decide who needs your help and who is just fine solo. There is a famous saying " 1 more for the road..." which can sometimes result in the end of the road. Helping others is a rewarding part of the Jiu-Jitsu journey but communicating how powerful or dangerous techniques can be is really important so beginners don't become brutes. Do you like to do Wrist locks? Have you ever smother choked a training partner? There are certain techniques and submission in BJJ that are considered the "Dark Arts!" For a long time ankle and leg locks were frowned upon as Dirty moves but as Jiu-Jitsu has evolved it is now popular to be proficient at these techniques. But then we move into a grey area - submissions that get the Tap but may hurt or upset your training partners. JT & Joey list moves they dislike and discuss what really makes a technique "Dirty" and what is actually just an effective submission, like it or not...Get Stronger & More Flexible for BJJ with the Bulletproof For BJJ App- Start your 7 Day FREE Trial: https://bulletproofforbjj.com/registerStay Hydrated with Sodii the tastiest electrolytes in the Game! Welcome to this podcast episode featuring Elizabeth Mintun, a radiant healer who shares her transformative journey. From surviving adversity to discovering Qigong, Elizabeth guides women toward energized inspiration and inner peace. She emphasizes cultivating life force ("chi") for vitality and advocates for self-care, especially for busy women. Join us as Elizabeth discusses mindfulness practices that lead to profound transformation and the importance of reclaiming light and balance in our lives. Here are key takeaways from this interview: - Elizabeth describes herself as "light", radiating and connecting to the light in herself and others. This represents her purpose as a healer. - She went through periods of "disappearing" from herself to survive challenging times. Reclaiming her light and power was pivotal in leaving an abusive relationship and rediscovering herself. - Discovering Qigong helped her release long-held tension and connect more deeply with energy and presence. She describes a profoundly transformative meditation experience. - Elizabeth seeks to guide women in particular to shift from depletion to feeling energized, confident and inspired through practices like Qigong, forest therapy and mindfulness. - Cultivating and balancing one's inner "chi" or life force is seen as key to vitality and inner peace. Stagnation in energy flow leads to deficiency. - Her therapeutic approach meets people where they are, with compassion for the struggles many face today while also illuminating possibility. - She emphasizes the importance of making space for our own care and restoration, especially for busy women who tend to care for others first. - Meditative surrender to "falling" beyond fear allowed Elizabeth to land deeply in love and presence. This remains accessible through various mindfulness practices. The holiday season can bring up a lot of emotions around self, family, events, food, and more. This week on the Trimester Bubble, we chatted with Jessica Van Antwerp for a better understanding of stress and learned some helpful, practical ways to tackle stress this season! Why is Stress Management Important? Stress levels are a key indicator of overall health (as well as nutrition and movement). It's a contributing factor to all major diseases and changes your body's processes when heightened. Finding ways to manage the stress of everyday life and the added stressors of life events and holidays can support your longterm disease prevention, help you absorb vitamins and minerals better, and support your body's innate healing process. Stress Management Ideas Stress management can include anything that helps you breathe and slow down. This might look like: Getting a massage Take three mindful breaths Meditating Practice qigong Go for a walk in nature Spend time in a steam room Paint Dance Sip tea (without your phone around) Put your bare feet in the grass, sand, or water Self Care While “self care” can feel like a buzzword, it can be pretty simple and very helpful. During the relentless pace of the holiday season, your stress management practices will make great self care practices. There's no one-size-fits-all approach to self care, but we've put together some ideas to get you started on your self care path: Take time for yourself, even if it's a couple minutes a day Connect with yourself through meditation and/or movement Grounding (learn more in the podcast!) Eat nutritious meals Get a good nights sleep In this episode you'll hear about: The common stressors and feelings that come up around the holidays like keeping your center around family and managing travel anxiety Understanding “grounding” and how to do it! In this episode, of A Witch, A Mystic & A Feminist, we examine the world of burnout recovery and explore the use of psychedelics in healing. Our guest, Dr. Eliza Collins, shares her personal journey of burning out while building an integrative wellness practice and how she discovered her passion for helping others recover from burnout. Dr. Collins also discusses her background in Chinese medicine, her experience with tarot reading, and how she found her calling in acupuncture. Additionally, she highlights the importance of community support and introduces resources for those interested in joining a burnout recovery community.Understanding Burnout:Burnout is not a medical diagnosis but a state of sustained chronic stress that impairs the ability to handle day-to-day stressors.Symptoms of burnout include emotional exhaustion, reduced ability to cope with stress, and feeling overwhelmed by basic tasks.Recovering from burnout often requires professional assistance and can take anywhere from 12 to 18 months or longer, depending on individual circumstances and available support.Tools for Burnout Recovery and Prevention:Dr. Collins distinguishes between tools for burnout recovery and those for burnout prevention.Common tools for recovery include meditation, improved sleep, exercise, and dietary changes. However, when experiencing burnout, the brain's capacity to engage with these tools is compromised, making them less effective.Building self-regulation skills, such as breathing exercises and gentle movement practices like Chi Gong and Yin yoga, can be beneficial before exploring other interventions.Exploring Psychedelics for Healing:Psychedelics, such as psilocybin mushrooms, can play a transformative role in healing, but caution and preparation are crucial.Dr. Collins emphasizes the importance of establishing self-regulatory tools and working with a professional before considering psychedelic therapy.Psychedelics have shown promise in treating conditions like PTSD and anxiety, and ongoing research is contributing to their medical acceptance.Dr. Collins shares her personal experience with psilocybin and its impact on her own healing journey.Dr. Eliza Collins offers valuable insights into burnout recovery, emphasizing the need for self-care, community support, and professional guidance. She highlights the growing acceptance and potential benefits of psychedelics in therapeutic contexts while stressing the importance of responsible and mindful use.To learn more about Dr. Eliza Collins' services, please go to her website, https://www.theburnoutwitch.com/. Did you know that different frequencies stimulate different parts of the brain? Lisa continues the conversation today with author, visionary inventor, and Chi Gong Master David Wong. David will explain technologies that can help you bridge the gap between not feeling well and vibrant, optimal health. If we know that everything is energy, then it makes sense that the next level of medicine can incorporate cutting-edge technologies based on energy. He talks about these new wellness technologies which use vibrational frequencies. Just as martial arts uses the body's own energy, David began to study the further connection of frequencies and vibrations. David suffered for more than 10 years after receiving a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis. When traditional medicine did little to help, David decided to explore spirituality, including prayer and meditation, which led him to find an energy method to healing. He used his background as an engineer to experiment with sound, frequency, energy, as well as studying the work of Dr. Royal Rife who developed the Rife Machine. He experimented with the Rife-type machines available at the time. It was through that study that he invented a handheld instrument called the Qi Coils. He took the Rife frequencies and captured them into a device. Using light technology and sound waves, he combined the frequency with electromagnetic coils to create soothing magnetic waves, which may aid in healing. This technology helped him heal his colitis. He then began to develop hundreds of other healing frequencies. Frequencies can reinforce cells in the body to make them stronger. He used these sound frequencies and magnetic energies to invent a device in which coils were made in a specific shape, in accordance with sacred geometry. This in turn becomes magnetic energy. This shape is how energy flows according to science. It's like a vortex, so it relates to our chakras. It is a natural shape in nature and this technology replicates it. It creates its own flow. Sound makes us feel in certain ways and connects us to vibration. It is a focused, condensed energy. This energy helps with oxygen and blood flow, flushes the lymphatic system, and you start to detoxify the body. You can begin to feel a little bit happier and less stressed. His Qi Coils are similar to wireless chargers, using an induction field. David has also studied and developed ways to even change your luck! He developed abundance and luck tones by absorbing happier frequencies. It's a rhythm that makes people feel upbeat and elevates the person's mood, thereby creating optimism and consciousness starts to change. David is a martial artist and 3rd generation Bruce Lee student. By studying Bruce Lee, he learned the philosophy of mastering one thing in your life -- take something complicated and simplify it to perfect it and master it. When you put out the energy, you attract it. This is a way of bringing the energy to you and your body matches it. Vivid dreams can happen when using this technology as the frequencies activate intuitive, creative parts of brain. This technology can guide you toward making more creative solutions The Qi Coils system makes it easy for people to use this for at-home healing. This is Part 2 of the interview. Are you or someone you know not feeling as well as you know you can? Have you explored options and you think you might be at a dead end with the advice of traditional medicine? Today's guest will explain technologies that can help you bridge the gap between not feeling well and vibrant, optimal health. If we know that everything is energy, then it makes sense that the next level of medicine can incorporate cutting-edge technologies based on energy. Our guest today is author, visionary inventor, and Chi Gong Master David Wong. He talks about these new wellness technologies which use vibrational frequencies. Just as martial arts uses the body's own energy, David began to study the further connection of frequencies and vibrations. After traditional Western Medicine combined with Chinese Herbs did little to heal his ulcerative colitis, David knew he had to find another form of relief. He lived with constant pain for 10 years. Doctors advised surgery, and even after that, he would need to take medicine and deal with side effects, for the rest of his life. David decided to explore spirituality, including prayer and meditation, which led him to finding an energy method to healing. He used his background as an engineer to experiment with sound, frequency, energy, as well as studying the work of Dr. Royal Rife who developed the Rife Machine. He experimented with the Rife-type machines available at the time, but they were very expensive, huge, and clunky. Today David demonstrates the electronic Pineal Gland activation frequency. Every body process has a frequency, as does our brain, as we see in various brainwave technology. Our cells are also in constant communication. We send instructions in an electro-magnetic field. We have a secret code and can direct our healing, whether it be an energizing frequency or a relaxing frequency. This can lessen inflammation, assist with anxiety and depression, improve sleep, help with neurodegenerative diseases, and so much more. Technology exists which can measure energy levels. Using this idea, you can take the frequency of the healthy cells to match a vibrant energy. This technology is based on science and has been used for decades. The Qi Coils system makes it easy for people to use this for at-home healing. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: www.theawareshow.com/life
Steven Washington is an author and former professional dancer. After performing on Broadway in The Lion King, he found a new passion in the form of Chigong and Pilates and has since become a highly acclaimed teacher in both disciplines. His book, Recovering You: Soul Care and Mindful Movement for Overcoming Addiction, is the result of his love of movement and his dedication to helping others. Steven enjoys a life of joyful recovery and is passionate about helping others heal and grow. He hosts a monthly Heart/Mind Moments YouTube series, which has been viewed by over a million people. His videos focus on physical, emotional, and spiritual health and are designed to inspire, motivate, and bring joy to viewers.Washington's journey began at age 15 when he had his first drink, which made him feel suddenly okay in the world. He chased this feeling for 20 years until it no longer worked and he had reached rock bottom. It was then that a friend in recovery showed him the way to sobriety. After many years of drinking and doing drugs, Washington eventually made his way to Broadway to perform in the Lion King, which he had seen as a kid and envisioned himself in. In 2014, Washington was introduced to Chigong and found it was a great tool to help manage his recovery and life in general. This led him to create an online course and eventually write a book, Recovering You. Washington's book details the use of Chigong and other practices such as journaling, compassionate inquiry, and building a social support network to help with recovery. All of these tools combined tend to the health and well-being of the body, mind, and spirit. Steven's advice is to practice self-care as an important foundation for addiction recovery. He suggests taking time to connect with the breath, practicing self-massage, meditating, and doing breath prayers. Breath prayers involve combining physical breathing with intention, such as breathing in peace and breathing out fear, worry, and anxiety. Doing this for five minutes can help shift the mind and create faith, optimism, and peace.
