This is her story of how she has made it through the rollercoaster that life has taken her on even to the point of questioning her faith. Her words of wisdom is: don't listen to others while searching for an opportunity to speak, listen simply to hear what others have to say. Most of the time you will find that you don't need to say anything at all. In other words, listen before you speak and decide at the end if it is necessary for you to speak at all.

Her words of wisdom is: It's important to start your day recognizing who God is and knowing that he is in control and taking a moment to shift your perspective to match God's will and not your will, choosing to live for God and not yourself.

    As a kid Michelle was in one of the first schools in Mississippi to be integrated. Although she originally had no desire to have kids and instead pursued learning and her career for years, when she did have kids, they were intentional and an absolute blessing to her and her husband. She is considered a senior citizen now but doesnt feel like one. And she is still pursuing knowledge and educating herself every day. She had so much advice to offer: Get serious. Open your mind. Learn what you can learn. Do not be afraid of learning and don't forsake learning. We are in a time where you are going to need to use the word of God to be your guide. Measure God's word against every decision you make.

He is divorced but says the best day of his life was when his daughter was born. All the bad things in his life has helped him appreciate the good. His advice is if you have someone in your life that is struggling with mental illness, they may be afraid to open up to you in fear of being judged, but just show them love, show them care, and try to direct them to Jesus.

    Tim suffered from his dad's verbal and physical abuse before his dad eventually left them. But his mom was straightforward, generous, and took good care of Tim and his siblings. And he had another family and home in his local church. Tim's word of wisdom is from scripture: "Seek the kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." Matthew 6:33. He has come to fully trust and believe that if you put God first in your life, everything else is going to work out, and he has shown that in how he has lived his life.
