Send us a textWhen Lorin Krenn heard “I love you” from his father for the first time — just moments before he passed — it cracked open a lifelong quest. That loss became Lorin's greatest teacher, inspiring him to break the cycle of emotional disconnection and redefine what true masculinity means. In this powerful episode, Lorin explores how many men unknowingly live out of alignment with their integrity — and how reclaiming that alignment unlocks freedom, presence, and personal power. He shares insights on the three core masculine archetypes, the shadow of hyper-independence in the feminine, and how sacred union becomes the ultimate spiritual practice. This is a heart-opening conversation about love, truth, polarity, and the kind of relationships that evolve your soul. You'll hear about:The hidden cost of living out of integrityMasculine archetypes: the pleaser, the dominator & the awakened manWhy the feminine is the Oracle, not the overachieverSacred intimacy as embodied spiritualityHow presence, alignment & polarity create abundance and magnetismIf you're ready to embody your truth and deepen your relationships — this one's for you.Support the show

After a few months in a row of investigating the silly side of nu-metal, we get back to business here with one of the absolute pillars of the genre, it's Deftones' debut "Adrenaline". It's a fascinating conversation because it was one of the first albums that got Bryan into nu-metal, hearing it almost in real-time before Deftones had any other work out, and for John, it was a case of going back and hearing Deftones' fundamental text after getting into them through White Pony and their self-titled. But make no mistake...this thing rips, and Bryan determines after a few re-listens to it for the podcast that it is his favorite album of all-time. It still holds up despite the sketchy vocal production, some primitive riffing, and the band not quite figuring out what their sound was going to be yet. The band also hadn't figured out how they wanted to present themselves in the media yet either, so the articles prove to be a lot more interesting than they would get in the years to come. Many relationships struggle because we can't tell if our lack of safety comes from our partner's behaviour or from our own unresolved wounds. This makes it hard to feel secure and connected, leading to tension and misunderstanding. What we need to do is look at whether our partner is genuinely showing up in a committed, present, and reliable way. At the same time, we need to reflect on our own patterns and see if past wounds are influencing how we perceive the relationship. If we don't draw these distinctions, our relationships can become filled with blame and criticism. We may constantly feel unsafe and unsatisfied, even if our partner is doing their best. This creates distance and can keep us from experiencing deeper love and trust. In this episode, Lorin invites you to ask yourself whether your partner's showing up in a way that deserves appreciation. If they are, try expressing gratitude for their efforts today. If not, think about how you can lovingly communicate your needs to help strengthen the connection.Mentioned in this episode:Discerning Narcissists in Relationships A 2½-hour workshop to recognize and break free from toxic dynamicsHealing Your Relationship with the Masculine A 4-week immersive program for women, starting 2nd March 2025
