Today's guest is someone who has already made history for her team — and she's only a sophomore. We're talking about the one and only Chloe Cho! Chloe earned four Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors, the most in program history for Illinois. She also took home the Big Ten Freshman of the Year award at the end of the season, becoming only the third gymnast in program history to achieve that honor. With her sophomore season on the horizon, Chloe has only scratched the surface of what she's capable of accomplishing. We're so excited for you all to learn a little more about her today!Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, kcmojojojo, Sammy S, Fabio B, Kerry H, Ricardo A & Brandon!
Today's guest is a consistency queen and one of the leaders of Kentucky's team – Delaynee Rodriquez. Delaynee is underrated in the sense that she's not necessarily the one bringing home all the awards or accolades, but she's the one silently killing it in the background for her team—starting them off strong week after week and consistently delivering reliable 9.85+ scores on every event, giving her team a solid foundation to build on. Now, as she enters her junior year, we could see her stepping into a leadership role even more and becoming one of the top all-arounders in the country this season.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, kcmojojojo, Sammy S, Fabio B, Kerry H, Ricardo A & Brandon!

This week, we're taking a break from our college gymnastics interviews to chat with a rising star for USA Gymnastics. We're excited to be joined by Charleigh Bullock, who recently became the junior national champion on the uneven bars and won five gold medals at the Junior Pan American Games.Despite being a junior, Charleigh has proven herself to be one of the top bar workers in the U.S. — her routine is among the most difficult being performed right now domestically. In fact, had she been competing in the senior division this year, she still would have taken home the bars title! She also won the bars title at every single domestic competition this year. And if you include international assignments, she medaled on bars in every competition — always coming away with hardware of some color.Charleigh is an athlete with a very bright future, and we're excited for you all to get to know her a little better today!Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, kcmojojojo, Sammy S, Fabio B, Kerry H & Ricardo A!
• Psicoloxía positiva: as persoas reaccionan mellor a mensaxes que xeran emocións agradables. E as emocións positivas contáxianse.
This week, we are joined by UCLA gymnastics icon Katelyn Rosen, who came roaring back after a slow start to her sophomore season to help the Bruins win their first-ever Big Ten title last season, as well as finish second as a team at the NCAA Championships — their best postseason finish since 2019.We're so excited to have Katelyn back on the show to talk about the highs and lows of last season and give a little insight into what we can expect from the Bruins this year.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, kcmojojojo, Sammy S, Fabio B, Kerry H & Ricardo A!
Today we are joined by fan favorite Ondine Achampong, a World and European medalist for Great Britain who was a favorite to make the Paris Olympic team before an ACL injury took her out of contention just three months before the Games. Ondine shocked the gymnastics world last season when she worked her way into Cal's beam lineup around 10 months after tearing her ACL—an injury that takes most gymnasts at least a year to recover from. Now, heading into her sophomore season, she's ready to take on an even bigger role for a young and relatively inexperienced Cal team.In this episode, Ondine shares more about her recovery journey, how she handled the uncertainty of the offseason with so many changes, what led her to stay at Cal, and whether a return to elite gymnastics might be in her future.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, kcmojojojo, Sammy S, Fabio B, & Kerry H!

Today, we're excited to be joined by Jennifer Williams — an elite gymnast from Sweden, a 2025 European Beam and Floor finalist, and an incoming freshman at Stanford University.Unfortunately, just a few days after we recorded this interview, Jennifer partially ruptured her PCL, a ligament in her knee. As a result, her elite season has sadly come to an end, and her NCAA season is now uncertain, depending on how her recovery progresses. This obviously wasn't the way we planned to start the episode, but we wanted to share that important update, especially since the interview includes discussions about her goals and plans for the remainder of the season. That said, we're still thrilled to share this conversation with you. We've been longtime fans of Jennifer's beautiful gymnastics, and this interview offers great insight into her journey so far — including highlights from her 2025 season, why she chose Stanford, and her ambitions to compete at the LA 2028 Olympics.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, kcmojojojo & Sammy S!
You already know — we're huge Michigan fans, so we are especially excited about today's guest. Joining us is the brand new head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, Maile'ana Kanewa-Hermelyn.Maile has been a key part of the Michigan coaching staff for the past seven seasons — six as an assistant coach and one as a volunteer assistant. Before that, she was a gymnast at the University of Oklahoma, where she was an All-American on vault and floor, a two-time Big 12 vault champion, the NCAA runner-up on floor in 2014, and a member of two national championship-winning teams — including Oklahoma's very first NCAA title. After her competitive career, she transitioned into coaching, helping guide the Sooners to their third NCAA championship as a student assistant. My favorite fun fact about Maile (that I will say at every opportunity that I get) is that, to our knowledge, she is the only person to win an NCAA title as an athlete and a coach. She helped Oklahoma win its first title when she was an athlete in 2014 and then of course she helped Michigan win its first title as a coach in 2021. Now, she steps into the head coaching role following the legendary Bev Plocki, who led the program for 36 seasons. Maile joins us to talk about her vision for Michigan gymnastics as she leads the team into a brand-new era — right as the program enters its 50th year.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, kcmojojojo & Sammy S!
Cela me donne une telle liberté. We're so excited to be joined by London Phillips, a former elite gymnast from the early to mid-2000s, best known for being the first gymnast to compete a double layout half out on floor — the skill now known as the Biles I in the Code of Points. London performed this groundbreaking skill in 2005, along with a number of other extremely difficult and original elements that were well ahead of their time.Every once in a while, one of her floor routines resurfaces online or sparks discussion, which made us really curious about where she is today and left us wanting to learn more about her career.London finished 12th all-around and 1st on vault at the 2003 U.S. Championships as a junior, and went on to place 3rd all-around, 3rd on uneven bars, and 1st on vault at the 2006 Level 10 Nationals before earning a full scholarship to Cal State Fullerton. We chat with her about how she learned the double layout half out, why she didn't continue pursuing elite gymnastics, and so much more!Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M & kcmojojojo
This week, we're thrilled to be joined by fifth-year senior Courtney Blackson! A few weeks ago, Courtney announced that she'll be using her final year of eligibility at LSU after taking a full year away from the sport. She previously spent four years at Boise State University, where she was a two-time NCAA individual qualifier and the national runner-up on vault in 2023. Now, she brings her talent and competitive experience to one of the top programs in the country – the LSU Tigers. In this episode, Courtney talks about her decision to return to gymnastics, how training has been going, and what led her to choose LSU for her final season. Plus, we share our 2025 U.S. World Team Predictions at the end of the episode! This will be our final episode in the Recruit Reflection series, and we're excited to be joined by Giselle Guenther, a level 10 gymnast from Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy who is actively going through the recruiting process. Giselle was one of the athletes in the class of 2027 who stood out to us because she improved so much in just one year. It's pretty remarkable when you scroll through her Instagram and see the difference from one year ago to now — it's fair to say she had quite the glow-up!Last year, Giselle was training at a gym in Indiana, competing level 9, and didn't have the cleanest gymnastics. So, she packed her bags and moved to Ohio, hoping to take her gymnastics to the next level and get recruited. This year, at Level 10 Nationals, she finished 4th on vault with a beautifully stuck Yurchenko 1.5, 10th on floor, and 7th all-around — a performance that definitely caught the attention of some of the top programs in the country. Giselle has official visits scheduled for Auburn, Michigan State, Alabama, Iowa, and Arkansas, and she joins us to talk about how it all came about.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, Greg T & kcmojojojo
This week, we are so excited to be joined by Houry Gebeshian from Full Out to talk all things college recruiting. During her time as a gymnast, Houry competed in college gymnastics at Iowa, where she was a Big Ten Champion on beam in 2010 and an NCAA individual all-around qualifier in 2011. In 2016, she became the first female gymnast to represent Armenia at the Olympic Games, and she also secured her place in the Code of Points with her own skill on the uneven bars.In 2018, she co-founded Full Out Collegiate Recruiting to help gymnasts navigate the college recruiting process, and she has since helped many of them find their perfect fit. We asked you all to submit questions about the college recruiting process, and Houry is here to answer them all.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M, Greg T & & kcmojojojo!
This week we are joined by Addi Doan, an incoming freshman at Texas Woman's University. Addi reached out wanting to share her recruiting experience with our listeners because she overcame significant adversity to get where she is today. She wants the future generation to know that you don't need a long Level 10 or elite resume to receive interest from college coaches.Prior to June 15, Addi suffered an ankle injury that limited her during her Level 9 season in 2022. Then she sustained a vestibular concussion and experienced severe complications, which kept her out of the gym for six months. As a result, she only competed in one Level 10 meet before her recruiting period began on June 15, 2023. Despite not having a lengthy résumé of accolades and experience, Addi still attracted interest from several Division I schools—not only because they saw her potential, but because they recognized her determination as she worked to come back from the concussion. In December 2023, about a year after the concussion, Addi committed to a Division I school on a scholarship. However, that scholarship was later pulled due to a shoulder injury. She joins us to talk about that experience — the highs and lows — and what ultimately led her to Texas Woman's University.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B,, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, Caroline M & Greg T!
We continue our Recruit Reflection series with a perspective we haven't heard before — the parent perspective! Erin Lang is the mother of Olivia Lang, an incoming freshman at the University of Maryland. Olivia was a Level 10 gymnast at CGA and is a four-time national qualifier. She visited five schools during her recruiting process — all within the Big Ten — and ultimately found her home at Maryland, where she committed in October 2023.Erin joins us today to talk about navigating the recruiting process alongside her daughter and shares some valuable advice for athletes and their parents who are going through the journey. We're continuing our Recruit Reflection series with incoming North Carolina freshman Jillian Fisher. Fisher is a three-time Level 10 national qualifier from Brandy Johnson's. In her own words, she was a little “late to the party” — she didn't take her official visits until the summer before her senior year of high school. That summer, she visited Iowa State, Arizona State and NC State, ultimately committing to Arizona State.About two months later, Fisher switched her commitment to Iowa State, where she signed in November 2024. A few months ago, she was released from her national letter of intent with Iowa State and signed with North Carolina — which had actually been her top choice from the beginning.Fisher's recruiting story is unique in that she changed her mind a few times, but ultimately ended up where she felt she was meant to be. She joins us to talk about what led to her commitment switches, the process of being released from her NLI and more.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Amy C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B, Katie E, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D, BC & Caroline M!

She recently wrapped up her Level 10 career with a sixth-place finish on bars at the 2025 Developmental Program National Championships. She ends her club career as a four-time Level 10 national qualifier and a 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup qualifier. Biro took visits to Kentucky, Denver and Michigan State but suffered an injury during her junior year of high school, delaying her college decision until the start of her senior year. She ultimately chose to become a Spartan and will join the team this season. We're back with another Recruit Reflection, and we're especially excited about this one because it's the first time we're featuring someone who went through the recruiting process but ultimately decided to step away from gymnastics to focus on academics. This week, we're joined by Leah Fontaine, a member of the Class of 2025 from Capital Gymnastics. Fontaine was a Level 10 gymnast for six years and spent time on the elite track during her younger years. She had dreamed of competing in college gymnastics for as long as she could remember and took six official visits when the recruiting period began. However, around that time, she began dealing with an ankle injury and faced the challenge of recovering while maintaining the interest of college coaches. After much reflection, she made the difficult decision to walk away from the sport to focus on her future. Georgetown University was one of the schools Fontaine had been interested in, although it doesn't have a gymnastics program. She was only able to consider it seriously after stepping away from gymnastics. Since leaving club gymnastics, she has embraced new opportunities — including starting a nonprofit organization and participating in high school gymnastics during her senior year. Now preparing to start her college journey at Georgetown this fall, Fontaine joins us to reflect on her unique recruiting experience and what lies ahead.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Naomi S, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Amy C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B, Katie E, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, Catherine, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D & BCAll Things Scoreboard Episode: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/all-things-scoreboard-introducing-ncaa-gymnastics-new/id1508390381?i=1000685173734
We've got plenty to catch up on this week — from the Pan American Championships and Asian Championships to college gymnastics news. It's been a while, and we're long overdue for a sit-down. But before we dive into all that, we've got another interview lined up! We're excited to continue our Recruit Reflection series with UNC standout JoJo Valahovic, who just wrapped up her freshman season with the Tar Heels as the ACC Newcomer of the Year. In many ways, JoJo was a breakout star this season. Statistically, she was the team MVP on vault and beam in total points contributed — and she was only a freshman! JoJo joins us to talk about her recruiting journey and what led her to UNC! ✔️• Reforza a conexión emocional coa audiencia. As plataformas premian a constancia.
We're continuing Season 3 of our Recruit Reflection series with Anika Most, a rising sophomore and member of Kent State's 2025 regular season MAC championship team. Anika always dreamed of becoming a Division I gymnast, but her recruiting journey wasn't easy. She faced a lot of rejection early on because she was a bit behind skill-wise at the time. Still, she never gave up. She kept working hard in the gym, held down two jobs to pay for training, and stayed persistent with coaches — eventually finding her home at Kent State. Anika is living proof that hard work and determination really do pay off. We hope her story brings comfort and hope to future recruits navigating their own journeys.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Naomi S, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Amy C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B, Katie E, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, Catherine, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, Ailish D, Wil D& BC
We're continuing Season 3 of our Recruit Reflection series with Heather Parker, a redshirt sophomore at Central Michigan University who began her college career at the University of Georgia. One of the top athletes in the class of 2023, Parker suffered an injury during her freshman season that led her to reevaluate her path. She ultimately transferred and found her home at CMU, where she recently wrapped up the season as a Mid-American Conference team champion. Our goal with this series is to bring more transparency to the recruiting process and highlight the variety of paths and outcomes student-athletes experience. With June 15 just around the corner, the class of 2027 will soon be able to speak with college coaches. We hope this series sheds light on the highs and lows of the journey and provides reassurance to those feeling uncertain about what lies ahead. Through these athletes' stories, you'll see that everyone ends up where they're meant to be—regardless of the obstacles they faced. We hope you enjoy this episode featuring Heather Parker.Thank you to our monthly Patreon supporters: Lee B, Cookiemaster, Christa, Happy Girl, Erica S, Semflam, Amy C, Maria L, Becca S, Cathleen R, Faith, Kerry M, M, Derek H, Martin, Sharon B, Randee B, MSU, Kimberly G, Robert H, Lela M, Mara L, Jenna A, Alex M, Mama T, Kelsey, Lidia, Maria P, Alicia O, Cristina K, Bethany J, Diane J, Kentiemac, Marni S, Betny T, Emily C, Cathy D, Lisa T, Libby C, Thiago, Taryn M, Dana B, Jamie S, Chuck C, Je_GL, Kaitlin, Susan P, Katertot, Mallory D, LFC_Hokie, Ella, Debbie, Megan F, Kay, Diane J, Julie B,, Austin K, Jane, Sarah, Amy, Stephen S, Johanna T, Alison S, Kristina T, Abigail W, Becky, Ola S, Jennifer K, Kate M, Naomi S, Claudia, Siona, Erin L, Sarah A, Kennedy B, Thomas B, Lauren D, Kihika N, Beth C, Amy, Renee PM, Ryan V, Brandon H, Tyler, Hayley B, Ben S, Kate & Landon, Danielle, ALittleUnderRotated, Dana C, Amy C, Grace, Pat G , Lexi G, Laura N, Kathy, Katie A, Ruby B, Katie E, Róisín, Becca, Megan J, Emily D, Britton, Ry Shep, Reyna G, Catherine, William A, MB, MJ L, Jackson G, Brittany A, Stella, Ulo F, Noah C, Melissa H, Alexis, William M, Trish, Susie, Leslie G, Catherine B, Karlin, Laura L, Katy S, J'nia G, Kathy M, Kathy S, Okcaro, Caroline P, JD B, Cookiecutter, & Ailish D!

We're so excited to kick off Season 3 of our Recruit Reflection series — where we sit down with athletes who've gone through the college recruiting process to hear all about their journey, from their first contact with coaches to making their final decision. With June 15th right around the corner, the Class of 2027 will soon be able to talk to college coaches. Our hope with this series is to shed light on the many different paths athletes can take, and to highlight both the highs and the lows that come with each individual journey. We're kicking things off with Annalisa and Maea Milton, who joined the elite ranks in 2022 and are identical twin sisters that are committed to LSU. Being twins ourselves who are inseparable, we were super interested in their stories and how they navigated the process. Did they do their calls together? Did they consider going separate ways? We discuss it all! Among all returning gymnasts for next season, Kelly is the second-highest contributor, an impressive feat for a freshman!Kelly joins us to recap the Tigers' historic NCAA Championship run.

In this engaging conversation, Laura shares her journey from aspiring journalist to successful photographer and brand strategist. She discusses the importance of storytelling, authenticity, and community in branding, as well as the challenges of navigating social media and burnout. Laura emphasizes the need for personal values in branding and the significance of maintaining a human connection in an increasingly automated world. The discussion also touches on the joy of creative pursuits and the role of imagination in building a unique brand experience. Takeaways Laura transitioned from journalism to photography after corporate layoffs. She emphasizes the importance of brand strategy in creating impactful messages. Social media can be both a useful tool and a source of burnout. Storytelling is a fundamental aspect of human connection and branding. Brand building is akin to world building, allowing for creativity and uniqueness. Authenticity is crucial in branding; imitation does not lead to success. Community can be small and still meaningful; it doesn't have to be large. Privacy is important for business owners; not everything needs to be public. Imagination is a powerful tool in the creative process. Finding joy in creative pursuits is essential for fulfillment. Our primary purpose is to stay free of marijuana and to help the marijuana addict who still suffers achieve the same freedom. We can do this by practicing our suggested Twelve Steps of recovery and by being guided as a group by our Twelve Traditions. Marijuana Anonymous uses the basic 12 Steps of Recovery founded by Alcoholics Anonymous, because it has been proven that the 12 Step Recovery program works! Who is a Marijuana Addict? We who are marijuana addicts know the answer to this question. Marijuana controls our lives! We lose interest in all else; our dreams go up in smoke. Ours is a progressive illness often leading us to addictions to other drugs, including alcohol. Our lives, our thinking, and our desires center around marijuana—scoring it, dealing it, and finding ways to stay high."
