In this episode of Hudson Monte-Stories through a discussion about Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3) with Abigail Wexler.  Abigail is the Director of Teaching and Learning at HMS and, prior to that role, taught Lower Elementary for many years.  Matt and Abigail speak about the philosophical basis for our Lower Elementary program centering around how the program helps children answer a hugely important question: Who am I?  They also discuss that, through this unique and powerful approach to elementary education, children love to learn and engage material and master skills at or above peers at other traditional schools.

Mikayla is a graduate of Hudson Montessori School and then went on to graduate from Gilmour Academy, and then from there she went on to Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and she is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Case Western University where she'll be earning a Masters of Science in social administration. And in addition to that, she's also a college counselor at University School.
