In this episode I spoke with the incredible Sarah Hiscox.Sarah is a writer and lives with her family in West London. Sarah spent the early years of motherhood and marriage addicted to heroin. She lost her husband, children and home due to her addiction and talks about the judgment from others as a woman and how she overcame it. She is now over 20 years clean and is back with her family. She shares how she got back and how she manages low self esteem and negative thought patterns that brought her to using drugs and food as a coping mechanism since childhood.
