Veilside is a hard rock/alternative metal band hailing from the suburbs of Chicago. The band started in 2006 as a four piece, gaining their fifth band member in the fall of 2009. The band has slowly risen in popularity on the strength of their promotion, as well as an energetic, melodic live show. Their self-produced debut CD, "Chapter One" was released in June of 2008 and to date has sold over 3000 copies almost by word of mouth alone. The success has allowed Veilside to open for national acts including Dokken, LA Guns, Nelson, and Stephen Pearcy of Ratt. In 2011, the band has aimed for a much more ambitious endeavor...getting mega-producer Chuck Alkazian (Slipknot, Saving Abel, Pop Evil) from Pearl Sound Studios to help them complete "THIS TIME..." featuring the band's popular hard rock version of the Kansas hit "Dust in the Wind". Veilside also hosts the annual "Breaking the Silence" benefit for autism awareness, and has worked with several other children's charities. Nygel Ajax is a Classic Rock and Blues cover band. (and a four piece Jazz/Rock Ensemble, and an Acoustic Duo or Trio.) We have a wide range of musical configuration which gives us the ability to be able to perform anywhere from Coffee Houses, to Dinner Clubs, to Rock and Blues Venues. It's core members are (listed in no particular order because we are a team) : 1. Doug Sonichsen ~ Lead vocals / Rhythm Guitar2. Diane Klemz ~ Lead vocals / & "Resident Princess" 3. Doug, John, Dave, and Jim all grew up together on The Southside of Chicago and have played music in and out of bands with each other since they were young enough to hold guitars and drumsticks. *Diane also hosts Karaoke shows and Dj's a bit in the Saint Charles Area at Chord on Blues (Tuesdays) and East Side Pub. Singer/songwriter Pete Berwick's fourth and newest CD, "Give It Time," has hit the street. Once again, Berwick delivers plenty of grit and spit throughout the 11-song collection done in his trademark rootsy, bluesy, punky, country–rock style. Opening track, "Renegade," sets the pace for this wild romp through what's best described as Americana music straight from hell's rowdiest and raucous roadhouse.

Lisa Matthews is a singer/songwriter based in Naperville, Illinois. Lisa is an accomplished solo artist and a veteran performer with many bands and acoustic duos. Known for her compelling vocal force and guitar work, Lisa draws from a diversity of musical influences including contemporary pop, alternative rock, folk, and classic 60’s and 70’s rock. Lisa’s original lyrics are rich with powerful imagery. Her songs soar with confidence, grabbing the listener with exquisite pop hooks and complex melodies. Recognized for her crowd-pleasing stage presence, Lisa prides herself on her professionalism and high energy, polished performances. Her original work is evocative and intensely lyrical. In 1967, Danny Seraphine was one of the architects of the band Chicago Transit Authority, which soon came to be known as Chicago. As the original drummer for the group, Seraphine performed and contributed his songwriting talents for over 22 years until he left the band in 1990. During his tenure, Chicago was the leading singles-charting group of the 1970s. Collectively, the band generated sales over 130 million units in the U.S. with 22 gold, 18 platinum, and 8 multi-platinum albums. During the course of their career, they charted five No. 1 albums and 21 top ten hits. Chicago is historically one of the longest-running and most successful American pop/rock and roll groups--second only to the Beach Boys in terms of singles and albums. Recognized as one of the world's most highly respected and influential jazz-rock/rock drummers of all time, Danny Seraphine was named by the legendary Buddy Rich as one of his favorite young drummers; he also was named as one of Rolling Stone's All-time Top Drummers. Following his departure from Chicago, he went on to produce recording artists, Broadway and off-Broadway shows, and an independent movie and soundtrack. In 2006, Danny Seraphine formed his new band CTA (California Transit Authority) which he continues to tour and record with today while he carries on the jazz/rock legacy.
