  Sam Mobley was a dynamic playmaker while at Parkwood high school- 27 career touchdowns, 22 TD coming from his primary position of wide receiver where he pulled in 115 career receptions for 2,034 yards. 

Leland Hammonds is a professor and personal trainer. Hammonds is passionate and motivated  about strength and conditioning and nutrition for student-athletes and the general population. 

On The Sidelines with Turner Schwartz, who played four years of varsity football at Marvin Ridge High School as a defensive back and quarterback. Ranked 4th in his class with a weighted GPA of 5.2, Turner received the Charlotte Touchdown Club’s Student-Athlete of the Year award earlier this year. A member of the National Honor Society and a team captain, Turner will play football and attend John Hopkins University in the fall.

Tripp Roakes a born and bred North Carolinian, who has dedicated a good part of his professional life to advocating for student-athletes through his South Charlotte Sports Report newspaper, website and social media feeds.    

Glenn Deveaux talks about the game that has given him so much. The owner of Camp Lineman talks about teaching, coaching and elevating the student-athlete on and off the field.

Dan Orner is a former NFL kicker who is now in the business of helping passionate kickers achieve the dreams of playing at the next level. Orner's collegiate and NFL kicking experience enhances his coaching instruction.

Zach Goins, Weddington WR, appears On The Sidelines. Goins played four years of varsity football while maintaining an impressive academic profile in high school. Zach talks football, academics and Weddington's winning tradtion.

Josh McClure is the Owner/Founder of XPE/McClure Sports. He is a passionate, athletic trainer dedicated to changing the landscape of youth athletic performance in the Charlotte Metro area.  In this episode, Josh explains how the XPE training methodology has had a tremendous impact on elementary, middle and high school athletes all over Charlotte and surrounding counties.     

Ty Griffiths wanted to play college ball so he decided that long snapping might be his best route. His hard work at long snapping and his strong grades in the classroom got Ty recognized by some of the top programs in the country. Ty will attend classes and play for North Carolina State University in the fall on a full scholarship.

Eric Heath is a senior linebacker at Monroe High School. A solid student- athlete who is a member of the National Honor Society, possessing a 4.0 GPA. A fiery competitor, Heath excelled on the football field as well leading his team in tackles in his senior season.

Cam Tripp, senior QB of the Piedmont Panthers and the quintessential student-athlete provides insight to his recruiting experiences and years of hard work in the class room that paved the way to an Ivy League education.

Doug Jones discusses his role as the Director of Athletics of the Union County Public School system as well as touching on his experiences from 29 years of teaching and coaching.
