After praying about this podcast's content, God sent me a devotional through a close friend, Jed Kovach, and I would like to share it with you. The title is "You Are Not Alone," and it focuses on Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”  God is nudging me to openly share my recent cancer diagnosis, struggles, fears, and faith builders with you! Here is an inspiring quote by Robert Louis Stevenson. “Life is not a matter of holding good cards, but of playing a poor hand well.” My mission for these podcasts is to play my poor hand well and share God’s faithfulness and mercy with you. In uncertain times, how do we live with hope? Where do we find it? How do we hold on to the kind of hope that lasts? I love this quote by Barbara Kingsolver… “The very least you can do in your life is to figure out what you hope for. And the most you can do is live inside that hope. Not admire it from a distance, but live right in it, under its roof.” So, where and how do we uncover the kind of HOPE that shines brighter than our struggles? How do we live under its roof?
