A recap of our first few days and nights in the all-inclusive “Impressive Spa and Resort” near Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Impressive is the resort, but the service and the food need a lot of tuning to get a positive review.

On our hike to Florida, this is the first of two stops. We only had a day and this was Maryse's first stop in the US capital so we focused on the Mall. Great weather and thousands of steps. It was a success.

Travelled to Berlin at supersonic speeds with a stop at Erfurt to see the medieval town. Supper at Knese.

Arrival in Frankfurt and picked up by our hosts. Weather wasn't ideal but promises to get much better.
