What's good community? What's good community? On today's episode of the Rad Chats podcast, we'll be sitting down with none other than Myk of Rusk Co.For those that don't know, Myk was the first brand I reached out to after RC's inception, and we quickly became friends. Rusk Co also happens to be the first RC collab, a little RC Australia and RC USA connection if you will. This was definitely a fun one to record thanks to Myk's humor and hot takes. We get into quite a few topics, including our experiences with running a small business, Rusk Co's rebrand, Australian gel soft, the importance of being kind to yourself, getting out of your own head, and of course never being stagnant #NEVERSTAGNAT. We did have a few audio issues during this episode, shout out technology, as you'll hear some clicking throughout the thirty minutes or so. I was unable to remove a majority of these without ruining the integrity of Myk's audio.You'll hear me jump in around the 30 minute mark to provide context and fill in the gaps where our connection started to get spotty.  Could we have re-recorded the episode? What's good community? I've been itching to release this week's episode for a while now, as we're talking with one of my favorite people in the 2A space, Starlitdeath. In a world filled with fakes, Star pretends to be no one but herself. As she puts it, Starlitdeath is a “sort of mental health, cosplay, gun guru person”. On this week's episode we chat with Aggro the Creator . You may be familiar with Aggro from his Goon Tape builds, where he strapped everything from tiny hammers to axes onto his firearms. One of Aggro's recent posts blew up when EOTech reposted one of his builds. This particular build saw Aggro strap an EOTech onto his double barrel shotty, and appears to have attempted 50 BMG out of it. Aggro is a one of a kind innovator of ridiculousness and violence.While the beginning of our conversation revolves around firearms and gear, we quickly dive into the deep end. Aggro doesn't mince words when it comes to sharing his journey with mental health, and the reality of transitioning out of the military, and into civilian life.
