Lloret de Mar va acollir la setmana passada tres jornades de donació de sang. La primera es va fer amb un autobús móbil a la plaça de la Vila, mentre que les altres dues es van celebrar al Teatre i al Centre Cívic. En plena època estiuenca, mantenir les reserves de sang continua sent un dels principals reptes. Mireia Blanco, del Banc de Sang i Teixits de Girona, explica que malgrat les onades de calor que patim, 145 persones, 19 de les quals van ser donants nous, es van acostar a donar sang en els tres punts de donació. «Nosaltres considerem que ha estat un èxit, perquè el que necessitem és això, un relleu generacional, i per tant 19 donants nous és molt bona notícia». Mireia Blanco L’objectiu del banc és aconseguir donants nous i que aquests, després, es converteixin en donants habituals, perquè així quan les persones grans que a partir dels setanta anys hagin de parar de donar, hi hagi garantit un relleu generacional, per una necessitat que sempre hi és. «Primer hem d’aconseguir gent nova i després hem d’intentar que aquestdonant nou es converteixi en un donant habitual, que aquí a Lloret en tenim moltíssims».Mireia Blanco Al llarg de l’estiu, el Banc de Sang i Teixits de Girona, va fent campanyes per fomentar les donacions, amb el desplaçament d’un bus als pobles de costa i també a aquells de muntanya que reben més turistes. To qualify for federal student loans and grants, colleges and universities must be institutionally accredited by an Education Department-recognized accrediting agency. As gatekeepers of federal financial aid, accreditors have great sway over their institutions. President Trump issued an executive order on "Reforming Accreditation to Strengthen Higher Education," and the Education Department recently commenced negotiated rulemaking on new accreditation regulations and intends to publish a final rule by November 1, 2026.But what is the purpose of accreditation, and how much power do accreditors hold? Primer el Tribunal Constitucional, que ja està de vacances, i després el Suprem. Per l'exconseller de cultura, Lluís Puig, que viu a l'exili, els tribunals haurien d'aplicar la sentència abans de la tardor, però no tenen “cap certesa” que això sigui així. En qualsevol cas, ho consideren “una victòria més” a la justícia europea, que els ha donat la raó i ha avalat que el procés independentista no perjudica econòmicament a la Unió.
