Our guest this week, Melissa Webb, helps us understand the world of paraphilia. Paraphilia is the experience of intense sexual arousal to atypical objects, situations, fantasies, behaviors, or individuals. Melissa Webb is the Clinical Director for Red Rock Psychological Health. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and again in 2006 with her Social Work Master’s Degree. Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, as well as an LCSW Supervisor for the Nevada Board of Examiners. She specializes in sex addiction, sexual abuse trauma, and anxiety. She is honored to be a board member for both the Southern Nevada Children’s Advocacy Center and The Nevada Chapter of ATSA.
