    Exposing Destiny Killers

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 27, 2020 66:50

Destiny is what God created you to be; His divine purpose. Destiny is your assignment, the original plan of God for you, a pre-determined future, God’s agenda for your life. Destiny is also what you ought to be in life. It is God’s design and purpose for you. It is God's pre-determined path for your life before you were born. Destiny is a blue print, a map and a natural course of events planned by God that will inevitably happen. Destiny killers block your dream, they divert your destiny, they cause delay, they frustrate efforts, they only see the negative side of you, they are kill joys. Destiny killers tell you your vision is too big, they drag you back, and when they have dreams concerning you, such dreams are of calamity. Destiny killers are discouragers, they are wasters (they waste your time and waste your life), they limit you and mock you. Some destiny killers are in your household, in Church, and around you. Destiny killers are bent on abolishing your destiny (Ecclesiastes 10:5-7). Destiny killers weaken your faith. If your destiny has been diverted, God would re-order it today in Jesus Mighty Name. Any tare that has been sown in your life by the enemy will be uprooted today in Jesus Mighty Name (Matthew 13:24-28). An example of a destiny killer was Herod, who was bent on abolishing the destiny of others (Matthew 2:1-18). Another example is Sanballat and Tobiah in Nehemiah 2:10, who said the vision was to large; they were discouragers. If your destiny killers don’t change, God will trouble them; He would take away their peace, He would give them an assignment they cannot complete (Acts 23:12). If your destiny killers do not change, God would send them on a journey of no return in Jesus Mighty Name.

    Spiritual Warfare Principles 3

Billy Graham explained the reality of spiritual warfare in his book Angels: “We live in a perpetual battlefield …The wars among the nations on earth are mere popgun affairs compared to the fierceness of battle in the spiritual unseen world. This invisible spiritual conflict is waged around us incessantly and unremittingly. Where the Lord works, Satan’s forces hinder. Where angel beings carry out divine directives, the devils rage. All this comes about because the powers of darkness press their counterattack to recapture the ground held for the glory of God… Since the fall of Lucifer, that angel of light and son of the morning, there has been no respite in the bitter Battle of the Ages. Night and day Lucifer, the master craftsman of the devices of darkness, labors to thwart God’s plan of the ages. We can find inscribed on every page of human history the consequences of the evil brought to fruition by the powers of darkness with the devil in charge. Satan never yields an inch, nor does he ever pause in his opposition to the plan of God to redeem the “cosmos” from his control.” Bob Hamway - the battle between us, with our spiritual weapons of intercessory prayer, praise, worship, and our spiritual armor, against the spiritual forces of evil on all levels. That includes personal and corporate intercessory prayer that battles for our families, cities, states, countries, and continents, and everything in between.

    Faith Uplifted

Faith is a substance. It is not a figment of man's imagination, neither is it a psychological state of mind. From the reference above, it is substantial; it is a tangible "takeable", "handleable" force. Faith – Biblical faith, Christian faith – is something of substance, something solid and tangible. It’s the objective evidence in the here and now, of a bigger picture that goes beyond the here and now. The Bible makes us to understand that the “just shall live by his faith.” This means, it takes faith to be alive spiritually. It is therefore important to build our faith. The failure of one’s faith is the failure of such a person’s life. Even Jesus Christ had to pray that Peter’s faith would not fail. Therefore, I pray for you that your faith will not fail in Jesus’ name. Peter walked on water because his faith was at work but the moment his faith failed he started to sink. He then cried out to Jesus for help. Jesus helped him up and Peter walked back with Jesus to the boat. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked - Ephesians 6:16 "Taking the shield of faith." If faith is not a substance, you cannot take it. The fact that I said faith is a tangible force does not make it physical. It is definitely as real as the air we breathe, and equally invisible to the human eye. It is therefore a spiritual entity, a living force. It is the trigger that provokes supernatural interventions. It is beyond the mental sphere. True faith begins with God. And leads to a response in us.

    There's Double Portion For You

“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy” (Ps. 30:11). Hannah’s story stands as a prototype for all of these. She who was “as good as dead” because of her barrenness ended up having her “horn lifted high” over her antagonistic cowife (2:1). The long period of waiting and despair served to increase Hannah’s joy over the answer to her prayers, so much so that the birth of one son was as fulfilling to her as giving birth to seven. Whatever the enemy has tried to take away from you, God wants to restore it. God wants to make it better than before. That’s the kind of Father He is. We can complain and remain in the same awful condition. Or we can praise God and be raised up. Nehemiah 8:10 tells us, “The JOY of the Lord is your strength.” It is important for Christians to have joy in their life! If you don’t have joy, you don’t have any strength. Where does joy come from? We tap into joy by hanging out with God! When we are in His Presence, we come out with a new spring in our step, a new song in our heart. When we’re hanging out with Him, we take on His characteristics. Isaiah 61:7 says, “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.” In The Amplified Bible, this verse says, “. . . You shall have a twofold RECOMPENSE. . . .” The word recompense is the same word that we get worker’s compensation from. You know what worker’s compensation is for? If you get injured on the job, they pay you worker’s compensation. God is saying, “You’re working for Me. You got hurt in the service of the Lord. And I’m going to give you worker’s compensation. I’m going to give you double for your trouble.” Glory to God!

In the New Testament Church we as prophetic people are not called to bring negative words, correction or call fire down upon people. We are prophets of grace, not prophets of judgment. We do not prophesy peoples’ problems, we prophesy the answers. We are called to bring forth the best in people. LISTEN TO THE WHOLE AUDIO TO LEARN MORE
