Episode 290 – Demons & Aliens: Part 1As we approach the end of the age, we're warned that deception will be the enemy's primary weapon, potentially manifesting through phenomena that challenge our understanding of reality itself. Demons seek avenues of deception that vary from culture to culture, generation to generation, and nation to nation. In the civilized, educated West, there is a massive interest in the exploration of space for other life forms. We have seen quite a bit of “evidence” that something is out there. But what is it? Part one of this two-part podcast series on Demons and Aliens lays a foundation of how and why Satan and his soldiers might seek to derail the faith (or potential for faith) across the globe by convincing everyone that they are benevolent life forms from other planets. They believe they have all the time in the world, when none of us do! No one is exempt from death! Many people die suddenly and without another chance to repent, but it's their own fault because every day is a chance to repent, that people don't take! People are too busy letting the world know how mean and hateful they are, forgetting the fact they could drop dead at any second. Hating people based on skin color, jealousy, envy, or being wicked, vile, nefarious, and evil will get you no where but in Hell. Also, don't let greed and lust get you into Hell. This week, in Emerson, Nebraska, a young boy shows up at school, telling his teacher that his father is dead, and "Black Cat" killed him. This sends police looking for the dad, only to find a puddle of blood & one boot, in his driveway. Luckily, the man has cameras around his house that give police some clues, that eventually lead to an abandonded farm house & finding an arm & a leg, in a car trunk. From there, detectives scramble to find the rest of the body, eventually making a horrific discovery!! Through His incarnation, sacrificial death, resurrection, and ultimate victory over sin and death, Jesus accomplishes what fallen humanity could never accomplish on its own.
