Jordan and I discuss Luca Guadagnino's Call Me By Your Name.  But most importantly, the 3 Sufjan songs featured heavily in the film!  Is this a Song of Songs style love story? Or is it an older guy creeping on someone underage? For some reason we delve into it?

Instead, I sit down with the "Canadian Sufjan", our very own Jordan Klassen!  We're talking Jordan's 2022 release "Glossolalia".  Oh! And Jordan reveals he's a mentalist for some reason.

Justin and Jordan take a look at Sufjan's compilation of outakes and B-sides from Illinois called "The Avalanche". Could this album be better than Illinois? (no) Will Justin and Jordan like it? (yes)    They also talk about their fav places to go to the bathroom when they're out and about. (why?) 

We reflect on Sufjan's break out hit "Illinois" with special guest Nathan Moes. Justin and Jordan think it's a great album, Nathan thinks it's a good album. Hark! Lift Up Your Heads! The Michigan Episode For The Weary, The Broken, The Tired!  In this episode we learn that Jordan went to a Sufjan concert as a first date with his now wife (and bailed on a friend in the process) and I (Justin) make some pretty cringey observations about Sufjan's music that sounded profound in my mind but now make me feel embarrassed. But anyway, Holland really does remind me of dust particles floating in the air on a hot summer morning after sleeping in, so....  But, wow, is this a great Sufjan record. 

Jordan and Justin share their top 3 favourite Sufjan Christmas songs from his box set "Songs For Christmas". Jordan does a brilliant play on words with Christmas presents vs Christmas presence. What insights do they bring to Sufjan's music beyond calling it "good" and "beautiful? You'll have to listen to find out!
