The first Alex Murdaugh trial wasn't just decided in a courtroom — it was swallowed by everything around it. A clerk of court writing a book about the case while she was supposed to be guarding the jury. Cameras in every corner of Walterboro. Podcasters, streamers, and true crime creators turning a small South Carolina town into a content farm. And when the dust settled, the state Supreme Court threw the whole verdict out, in part because of what happened to that jury outside the evidence. Now meet the woman in charge of making sure it never happens again. Judge Debra McCaslin wrote on her own judicial questionnaire that she is not a fan of social media and very rarely looks at it. The state of South Carolina just handed the most internet-obsessed criminal case in America to a judge who, by her own account, doesn't engage with any of it. In this Alex Murdaugh retrial breakdown, we ask whether that makes her exactly the wrong person for this moment — or the only kind of judge who can survive it. A jurist who can't be rattled by the noise might be the cure for a case that was poisoned by noise. Or she might be walking into a storm she's never bothered to look at.We also get into who McCaslin is beneath the questionnaire: the self-made path that took her from a senator's office to her own law practice to the bench, her overlooked history with one of the lawyers now defending Murdaugh, and the rulings she'll make on venue, evidence, and a possible death penalty fight that will define trial number two before it starts.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Most restoration owners have a crazy story about how they got into the business, but very few have survived a first job so brutal it almost drove them out of the industry forever. In this episode of Restoration Pros Unplugged, host Clinton James sits down with Andrew Rickabaugh, co-owner of Rick and Ball Restoration and a One Tom Plumber franchise in Huntsville, Alabama. Andrew pulls back the curtain on his non-linear path to entrepreneurship, spanning roles as a paramedic, firefighter, Huntsville police officer, and a 20-year career in the Marine Corps. The real turning point, however, came at age 24 when he was hired into a restoration firm as an area manager, only to find himself leading an operational disaster. Handed a mountain of derailed reconstruction files, Andrew spent his days visiting furious homeowners and eating crow for mistakes made by completely unmanaged crews. The experience was so exhausting that he quit after 364 days, vowing never to set foot in the restoration industry again. The story didn't end there. Years later, a call from his brother-in-law and business partner, Kevin Ball, convinced him to return on his own terms to launch an independent company. Andrew breaks down how they put their heads down and did the dirty grunt work themselves, organically climbing the organic rankings to become the highest-rated restoration firm in a hyper-competitive market. He details their strategic expansion into the commercial market, explaining what it takes to find and manage a high-performing business development rep who isn't afraid to pick up the phone and build long-term relationships with property managers. To eliminate the expensive, margin-choking bidding wars over third-party plumbing referrals, Andrew and Kevin made the bold choice to buy a One Tom Plumber franchise. Now managing a team in the mid-30s with a fleet of 15 service vehicles, Andrew shares raw insight into how they handle modern operational constraints. He explains how they utilize AI tools to audit scopes and counter insurance adjusters using strict IICRC guidelines, and why they are aggressively pivoting toward a customer financing model to bypass carrier delays and compress their average 30-day reconstruction start times.Whether you are a military veteran looking to make the leap into home services or an established restorer feeling trapped as the bottleneck in your own business, Andrew's perspective on efficiency, tech integration, and self-reliance will reframe your growth strategy. He leaves listeners with a powerful reminder on the true value of entrepreneurship: if you don't own your business, you can't control your future.- Connect with Our GuestLearn more about Andrew and his team: www.rickandball.com- Scale Your Restoration BusinessWant to generate exclusive, high-intent water damage jobs and build an inbound marketing system you actually own? A friend came over the other day. She'd just done a week on the Sunshine Coast with her three kids, the whole pack-up by herself. We were sitting at my kitchen table doing that thing where you're laughing and crying at the same time. She couldn't get her kids to put the bins out because they were glued to their iPads. I said yep, same. The deeper problem isn't just the iPad. Matthew 26:1-16 - - May 17, 2026
Jesus Christ will be handed over to die.
Most men were handed a version of masculinity that had no room for grief, sensitivity, or showing up as anything other than hard. Gay men got that version and then got told their masculinity did not count anyway. Morgan Rich, coach, author, and creator of Threshold Coaching, spent decades learning the hard way that the world rewarding toughness was never actually rewarding strength. He and Rick get into what it means to reclaim healthy masculinity when you are a gay man over 40 who has been navigating threshold moments your entire life, why little deaths are not the enemy but the teacher, and what it actually looks like to stop betraying yourself and start living like you mean it. Key Takeaways: Why the masculinity most men were handed was never built for authenticity or survivalWhat threshold moments are and why gay men over 40 have been living inside them for decadesHow grief works as a teacher rather than an obstacle when you stop fighting itWhy sensitivity is a form of strength that most men were conditioned to destroy in themselvesWhat it actually means to stop betraying yourself when self-betrayal has been the default setting for years About Morgan Morgan Rich is a coach, author, and group facilitator who helps people navigate threshold moments—the school transitions, breakups, commitments, career shifts, midlife reckonings, and quiet inner stirrings that signal it's time for something new. For more than a decade, he has guided men, couples, and young adults through these crucible spaces, offering presence, precision, and care when the old story no longer fits and the next step feels terrifying. His approach, called Threshold Coaching—Training for the unkNOWn, blends real-time support with nervous system awareness and integrity practices. Sometimes that means preparing a client before a hard conversation; other times it's helping them integrate the aftermath of grief or conflict. It is not advice or quick fixes, but a way of learning to stay present and courageous when life feels most intense. Morgan is currently leading the pilot of his Find Your Path program, an immersive community for both young and older adults who feel caught between pressure and possibility. By living, learning, and practicing together, participants discover clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging and direction. His book, The Invitation Beyond: Reclaiming Healthy Masculinity, draws on his personal journey as a sensitive man in a world that rewarded toughness. Through grief, struggle, and deep practice, he came to see that connection is a strength and that freedom comes from showing up fully alive. The book guides readers to move past cultural noise into a grounded, connected way of living, and calls forth a new/old way of being a man. Today, Morgan speaks on stages, in groups, and on podcasts about male sovereignty and loneliness, the hidden strength of sensitivity, grief as a teacher, and the difference between the frantic intensity of the world and the rooted intensity of presence. Whether working one-on-one, facilitating men's groups, guiding couples, or mentoring young adults, his message is the same: transformation begins when we stop betraying ourselves and start living with honesty, courage, and care. What began as an internal developer tool atBlockhas evolved into a broader open-source initiative with industry backing. Goose, Block's AI coding agent, followed a path similar to Amazon's transformation of internal infrastructure intoAmazon Web Services. After deploying Goose companywide, Block open-sourced the tool under a permissive license, leading to rapid adoption across the developer community. But according to Manik Surtani, Office of the CTO, Block and Co Founder of Agentic AI Foundation, early momentum exposed governance challenges. Although Goose was technically open source, Block retained trademark ownership, creating concerns for enterprises seeking truly independent governance. To address this, the team partnered with the creators ofAnthropicand the Model Context Protocol community to establish theAgentic AI Foundationunder the umbrella of theLinux Foundation. Goose, MCP, and Agents.MD became the foundation's initial projects, chosen largely to accelerate the launch of the new organization and create a collaborative ecosystem around agentic AI development. EASE OS™: The Human Skills · Episode 2 Most people are navigating their health by filling the gaps between disciplines without realizing that is what they are doing. The acupuncture, the functional medicine, the physical therapy, the nutrition protocol — each one skilled, none of them in conversation with each other. And the burden of figuring out how it all connects has been placed quietly on you. In this episode Dr. Connie names the invisible labor of fragmented care, explains why it produces consistently incomplete results at the physiological level, and shares the story of a patient who resolved four years of chronic pain in a month — not because any individual treatment was better, but because the sequence was finally right. What you will take away: • Why skilled individual practitioners consistently produce partial results when working in isolation • How the burden of integration was transferred silently to the patient • What fragmented care actually does to the body physiologically • The story of a four-year pain journey resolved in one month through sequence • The map exercise — seeing your own fragmented care picture clearly for the first time • The closing question to carry into the week Apply for the Clinical Diagnostic Intensive — link below ↓ https://www.drconniecheung.com/Clinical-Diagnostic-Intensive Four spots this month. The Patriotically Correct Radio Show with Stew Peters | #PCRadio
Stew breaks down the news of the day, including the latest Trump “assassination attempt” that was so fake even the corporate media can't keep the lies straight. Fox News war correspondent Trey Yingst – fresh off the red carpet – is caught on video physically escorting the exact K-9 handler who “confronted” the so-called shooter moments later. Patrick Howley joins Stew to discuss how the Rockefeller Foundation demons have leaked their full blueprint for the next engineered COVID-style pandemic: drone-delivered vaccine patches forced on everyone, mandatory biometric bracelets for total tracking, and invasive farm surveillance locking down food production through 2035.
The discovery is open in the Anna Kepner case, and one item stands out. Prosecutors turned over a cellphone data extraction from a device identified only as "C.K." — not the phone belonging to the accused. Anna's father is Christopher Kepner. If the government extracted data from the victim's father's phone and handed it to the defense as part of discovery, that tells you something about where investigators went and what they were looking for. Former prosecutor and defense attorney Eric Faddis examines what that evidence disclosure signals about the investigation's scope and how the defense may use it.Timothy Hudson, sixteen, faces first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse charges in federal court in connection with the death of his eighteen-year-old stepsister aboard the Carnival Horizon. Hudson was indicted by a federal grand jury and has pled not guilty. He did not appear in court for the plea — his attorneys filed a written entry on his behalf, a procedural choice Faddis explains in the context of an ongoing detention dispute.Hudson is currently on pre-trial release under GPS monitoring, living with a relative. Prosecutors have moved to revoke that release, arguing the conditions were established under juvenile law before the case was transferred to adult prosecution. The defense is seeking to have the same judge who granted the original release rule on the revocation motion. Faddis breaks down the legal implications of that strategy and what it tells us about the defense's broader approach. The medical examiner ruled Anna's death a homicide by mechanical asphyxiation. Bruising on her neck was reportedly consistent with an arm held across it. Her body was found under a bed in the stateroom she shared with Hudson and another sibling — wrapped in a blanket, concealed beneath life jackets. Ship surveillance reportedly shows no one else entered or exited the cabin. Prosecutors have turned over the autopsy, body cam footage, and the cellphone extraction as part of the evidence file. They estimate the trial would take approximately seven days.Faddis evaluates whether that timeline reflects a streamlined prosecution or a case built on a narrow evidentiary foundation — and identifies what should concern prosecutors most about a defense team that has been this deliberate with every filing, every appearance, and every procedural choice it has made.Hudson has pled not guilty and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
