Here are group of Holy Ghost filled men, who are in love with GOD and his word and are not ashamed to be called his followers and are not afraid to stand up to his word. Here we take on everyday questions faced by Believers and we dig through the WORD whe
WHAT IS THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL? AND HOW SHOULD WE CELEBERATE CHRISTMAS AS CHRISTIANS?
without a Godly vision, what and where will we be? we be but a dust blowing in the wind. without a direction and purpose.
In the end, only you can decide whether you spend eternity in heaven or in the lake of fire. The generation that perished in the flood thought it was foolishness that Noah talked about rain. But when the waters began to rush in they all perished all because they chose not to believe.
GOD told Joshua that the promised land is theirs to take. But the LORD didnt just hand it to them in a silver platter but they had to fight for it. and just as the children of Israel had to fight for their promised inheritance, we too need to fight for our inheritance, for the salvation. YES it is indeed free but we have got to step out and take it.
What keeps us from going all in and be a true follower of CHRIST? is it tradition? or culture or maybe we dont want to let go of our addictions? if we cling on to them and will not let go, these things will weigh us down and prevent us from moving forward to where GOD wants us to be.
An Altar without a sacrifice on it is just a furniture and a sacrifice without an altar is just empty labor. Just as faith without works is dead because it is alone. For as the body is without the spirit is dead, faith without works is dead also. GOD meets us at altars, but GOD will not visit an empty altar. But equally important is that our sacrifices must be what GOD requires.
Matthew 19:27-28 tells us: Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. My friends we shall reap Inheritance if we faint not. If we hang on to our faithful walk with GOD abiding in his will then we will surely enter into the joy of the LORD.
James 1:19-20 tells us: Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. A true elder brother lifts and takes care of the younger. we are not in competition with each other but we lift each other up for we are members of one body. Let there be no strife between brethren for what we do to a brother it is as if we do it unto the LORD.
Romans 12 talks about us being members of ONE body. We were not created to stand out by ourselves but as members fitly framed together as the bride of Christ. And as part of that body nobody is more important than the other but every member is equally important. But when preeminence and selfishness enters into that one member it causes division and the body to malfunction. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of smell be? Let all glory and preeminence be unto GOD and let GOD be GOD and let us be the members and vessels that GOD uses. We are stronger united than divided.
What happens when you pray and you doubt it will be answered, do you think it will be answered? NO sir. JESUS told his disciples, If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to this fig tree , but if you say to this mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea; it will be done. One of the reasons we get stuck in prayer is we do not believe the things we pray for. But have faith, pray and start acting on that prayer and start preparing yourself to receive that answered prayer. Have faith and trust GOD for he is well able to perform his word.
I AM NOTHING without CHRIST. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18 says: But he that glorieth, let him glory in the LORD. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the LORD commendeth. This passage simply states that if we want to boast, boast about the JESUS, the almighty GOD, the one true GOD. And do not start to lift yourself up but let GOD do the lifting and promotions. For all the accolades and accomplishments are nothing without GOD.
The story of blind Bartimaeus getting his sight can be dissected and preached in many ways. But ultimately the story presented to us is this: I was blind but now I see. Kind of like the lyrics to a popular song: Amazing grace. You see on our own, our sight, our perception and vision is limited to our wisdom and understanding. That is why we as humans always fall short of our potential because we only see through our eyes. But if we cry out to GOD and allow us to see through his eyes, the impossible becomes possible. The mountains become as little hills and the storms become opportunities. Dont be limited by your own perception, cry out LORD that I may see through your eyes. GODBLESS.
As we move forward towards the promises of GOD, and as we live a life with Christ, he has not promised that everything will be smooth sailing. We will go through times of rough seas and storms and famine. But if ever we go through these situations, GOD has promised us that he will be there with us, that he will never leave us nor forsake us. And just as GOD poured out manna from heaven and the children of Israel had to physically go and gather the bread. We too must go in and posses the door that GOD has opened for us. Victory is not going to be handed to us, but victory is there waiting on us. And so be courageous and FEAR not.
New wine must be put into new wineskins lest if we put the new wine into the old wineskins, the pressure from the fermentation cannot be handled by the old bottle (wineskin) thus it would ruin both the container and what is contained. Just as we have to be renewed in our walk with CHRIST through putting on CHRIST in the waters of baptism in his name. Unless we are willing to be changed into new wineskins, what is going to be poured out unto us will burst and will be wasted. God wants to pour out his spirit upon all flesh, we just have to renew ourselves in the LORD and become new wineskins.
Isaiah 66:1 tells us: Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest. When JESUS comes will he find a place in you to rest or have we given our desires to the world. Scripture tells us that JESUS came to his own and his own received him not, and further it will say if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. Rapture is real and the time is at hand. Its time to put oil in our lamps and let the light of GOD shine that those in darkness be drawn into it.
In His parable, Jesus compares heaven to a wedding banquet that a king had prepared for his son. Many people had been invited, but when the time for the banquet came and the table was set, those invited refused to come. Everyone had an excuse. How tragic, and just like how human nature respond to GODs offer of salvation. Its a tragedy to be offered the blessings of God and to refuse them because we are more concerned of our life here on earth than life after earth. Solomon mentioned that our lives are just like a flower that blooms and then fades away. Many are living by the motto: we live only once but if you think about it and what the bible says, we don't live once but its the opposite, we die once. Its not that we live only once, but we live for eternity either in heaven or hell. And JESUS came and openly gave us this gift, this ticket to eternal life free of sufferings. But we have to decide whether to live for GOD or to live for the world. The invitation is yours, check YES or NO.
GOD speaking to the church at Laodicea saying: I would that thou art neither HOT nor COLD. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. We see the development of this culture in the times we live in, many people are becoming lovers of themselves than GOD, its more of a look at me lifestyle than look at GOD culture. And if we continue to ignore these signs, we are in danger of the missing out on GOD. For if in the ancient times, those who refused GOD did not escape, how much more of us when GOD himself is speaking through his church. The world wants you to chill out and relax because he wants you to miss the boat of salvation, But GOD is calling all SOULS to repentance because he does not want us to perish. Its time to wake up and rekindle our first love which is the LOVE FOR CHRIST.
When everything seems to be hopeless and there is nothing we can do, just call on to GOD. When the apostles were in the middle of the storm at the sea of galilee and they did all they can to withstand the onslaught of the winds and the waves, they called on JESUS to intervene and JESUS responded by telling the storm to be still. GOD is able to still your storm if we just call on his name.
Why forgiveness matters? Because through forgiveness we reunite ourselves with our brethren. We break the division and we maintain order and unity among us. But if we continue on to allow bitterness to get a hold of us, then we will be forever a prisoner of the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness. Matthew 18:35 tells us: if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive yours.
We are saved not of our works but by the grace of GOD. And now that we are saved there is a need for works, in order for those who are in darkness to be able to see the light. The book of James tells us that faith without works is dead. meaning it is not complete. We have to reach out, just as JESUS commanded his disciples after they were saved, go and preach unto all nations. We too have to go, to get out of our comfort zones and live out our faith so that those who are in spiritual darkness would be able to experience the light that GOD is offering to everyone.
In every relationship, the best possible type to be in is that there should be a give and take moment. And this is the norm in a healthy relationship. And so it is with GOD. If we dig deeper into the word, we can see a pattern with GOD, and that pattern usually comes in If you will do this, then I will do that. This can be confirmed by the apostle James when he said: be ye doers of the word and not hearers only. And he continued on to say in James 2:26 saying: for as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
What Defines a man? Is it the cars that he drive or the house that he lives in or is it the bling bling that is attached to him? There will be 2 definitions, one from the worldly and one from GOD. And so, if you want to please the world then by all means, live as the world but if you want to PLEASE GOD, then by everything in your being, live godly lives.
Its easy to live life as a Christian when you are still feeling the hype of being a newborn believer. And this is when your faith is really tested. We all start out full of enthusiasm and zeal but there are those who give up as soon as they see the distance they are to run. And so, what do we do to continue running the race as Christians in this world.
And so the question is what do I do after getting baptized? Well baptism is just the start of our walk with GOD. Now its time to start laying aside the weights that the world has put on us, now we have to start preparing ourselves as the bride of CHRIST by living a holy life and making sure we align ourselves to what pleases the groom which is CHRIST.
2 Corinthians 5:18 introduces us to the ministry of reconciliation. The verse says: And all things are of GOD, who has reconciled us to himself by JESUS CHRIST, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation. What this simply tells us is that forgiveness of our sins and be renewed and restored with GOD is readily available through CHRIST.
The devil might be the roaring lion seeking whom he may devour but we have a better lion. We have a lion of the tribe of Judah who is walking around seeking whom he may restore.
Just as all the masters servants was given a talent in Matthew 25, GOD has placed in every individual a calling, a purpose. And it is up to us to seek after GOD and allow him to reveal unto us his purpose in our lives.
Sometimes its uncomfortable to get out of our comfort zone because it puts us in an awkward situation. And sometimes we hesitate to step out because we are not sure of the outcome, the world has trained us to be successful. And sometimes fear of the unknown holds us down to our potential. With men it is impossible but with GOD all things are possible. You may not see the outcome but if you trust the voice of GOD that is leading you, even if you fall, the LORD will always have a hand to pick you up.
