In this episode of Life Rewired, Kristina breaks down the seven most common nutrition mistakes she sees while doing food audits. After analyzing thousands of logs, one thing has become clear: what is holding so many women back is simply repeating small, compounding mistakes that no one has ever clearly identified. When three honest days of intake are reviewed objectively, patterns emerge. And often, the issue is not a need for lower calories or stricter macros, but better structure and smarter distribution.Kristina walks through the biggest offenders, including under-eating protein earlier in the day, failing to distribute calories evenly, building macro-based meals instead of balanced plates, relying too heavily on snacks, inaccurately measuring portions, and overlooking liquid calories. She explains why evenly spaced protein supports muscle and metabolism, how fiber and micronutrient density influence blood sugar and fullness, and why rhythm in daily intake creates stability for both body composition and energy. The episode also highlights how subtle habits like eyeballing portions or hoarding calories for dinner can quietly stall progress over time.Ultimately, this conversation reframes fat loss frustration as a data problem, not a discipline problem. Food audits remove emotion and replace it with clarity, allowing women to see exactly where small adjustments can create powerful change. Rather than encouraging more restriction, Kristina emphasizes structure, awareness, and intentional balance as the true drivers of sustainable results.FUNCTIONAL & FITNESS AUDIT (LIMITED TIME):https://builtgroupcoaching.my.canva.site/nutrition-auditWATCH ON YOUTUBE:https://www.youtube.com/@kristinaturnure/podcastsBALANCED BLUEPRINT MEMBERSHIP:https://builtgroupcoaching.my.canva.site/balancedblueprintmembershipBUILT AND BALANCED VIP COACHING:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScV_IGO2VhRV415iIsiHz6TGr76wuH-loG2eGt068pZG474qw/viewform BUILT & BALANCED NEWSLETTER:https://builtandbalanced.kit.com/dd0f3197ccLIFE REWIRED IG:https://www.instagram.com/LIFEREWIREDPODCAST/?utm_medium=copy_linkKRIS IG:https://www.instagram.com/kristinaturnure/?hl=enNASH BARS:https://nashnutrition.co/PTULA: DISCOUNT CODE KRISTINAT https://www.ptula.com/TRANSPARENT LABS: CODE KRISTINA https://athlete.transparentlabs.com/kristinaturnure

Hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros unpack why so many people lose momentum after reaching a goal and how that quiet pattern limits long-term success. After years of building businesses, coaching clients, and studying high-performance behavior, they have seen the same cycle repeat as people push hard to win, comfort sets in, discipline fades, and standards slip. They explain why lasting growth comes from identity, not outcomes. You'll learn how motivation really works, why external rewards rarely sustain progress, and how aligned habits create stability in business, health, and relationships. This is a practical conversation about building self-driven discipline and durable systems that hold up even when motivation runs low._______________________Digital Asset:The 5 M's of Next Level Motivation - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SNYQ2RuPg6fgqGA5Og9a7xFmX2lR3y7x/view_______________________Learn more about:Book Alan's Business Breakthrough Session. Today's guest says that advice isn't just outdated — it's costly. In this episode of 97% Effective, host Michael Wenderoth sits down with Dina Denham Smith, executive coach and bestselling author of Emotionally Charged, to unpack why emotional skill is now a core leadership capability, not a “soft” add-on. Drawing on behavioral science and her work as an executive coach and strategic advisor, Dina explains why emotions are data, how leaders unknowingly perform massive emotional labor, and what it really takes to manage triggers, prevent burnout, and unlock performance. As Dina puts it: “Emotions are money.” By the end of this conversation, you'll see why ignoring emotions is bad for you and bad for business – and what to do instead.SHOW NOTESDina's story — and why this work mattersOne surprising thing about Dina you won't find on the internetHow Emotionally Charged would have helped Dina earlier in her own careerWhat sparked Dina's interest in the science of emotionsHow the pandemic and technology shifts dramatically increased the emotional demands placed on leadersCore ideas from Emotionally ChargedThe key takeaway: Emotions are information“Emotions are money”: how feelings directly translate into performance, retention, and resultsThe biggest myth Dina wants to retire: that emotions get in the way of good business decisionsWhat “emotional labor” really means — and why research shows leaders perform as much of it as customer service professionals (and in more complex ways)The three layers of every emotion: physiology, cognition, and behaviorWhy suppressing emotions is like trying to hold beach balls underwater Practical tools you can use immediatelyBeach balls, masks, and “letting it all hang out”: finding the right balance at workWhy expanding your emotional vocabulary dramatically improves self-regulationDina's BRAVE framework for managing triggers in real time: Breathe, Refocus, Accept, Verbalize, Engage Restoration (not “self-care”): four evidence-based ways leaders recover from emotional strain: Detachment, Relaxation, Mastery, Control Power, leadership, and team cultureWhy leaders consistently underestimate their emotional impactHow power amplifies everything you feel and showWhy everyone cues off their leader's emotional signals (often unconsciously)How leaders can normalize emotional expression on their teams — without turning meetings into complaint sessionsSimple ways managers can reset emotional culture inside their own sphere of influenceDina's reminder: emotional skills are learnable — and improvable at any stage of your career. BIO AND LINKSDina Denham Smith is an executive coach and strategic advisor who helps senior leaders build their capacity, scale their impact, and thrive in complexity. Play the Hand You're Dealt: Why Copying Other Chiropractors Is Holding You Back

Black Sheep Chiropractic Podcast

In this episode of the Rocket Chiro Podcast, Jerry Kennedy dives into one of the biggest mistakes chiropractors make in business and marketing: trying to copy someone else's path to success. You are not the chiropractor you heard speak at a seminar. You are not the person you follow online. You are not even the chiropractor down the street. Your skills, personality, finances, family situation, timing, and opportunities are all different, and ignoring those differences dramatically lowers your chances of success. This episode breaks down why cookie-cutter strategies often fail, why context matters more than tactics, and how to make progress by being honest about your situation and playing the hand you're actually dealt. Key Topics Covered Why copying other chiropractors rarely works How differences in skills, finances, family, and timing shape outcomes The danger of seminar success stories and online comparisons Why "If I can do it, anyone can do it" is a misleading idea How lack of context leads to frustration and burnout The Big Three Framework Jerry introduces three foundational factors that determine meaningful progress: Interest What you are genuinely interested in, not what looks good or sounds impressive. Skill What you are capable of executing well right now, along with the skills you still need to develop. Opportunity Your real-world circumstances, including finances, location, relationships, timing, and access to resources. The overlap of interest, skill, and opportunity is where the greatest potential for meaningful change exists. What Creates Long-Term Progress Short-term change requires interest, skill, and opportunity. Long-term success adds two more elements: Structure Clear systems, standards, and guardrails that remove guesswork and allow you to measure what's actually working. Consistency Boring, repetitive execution over time that compounds results. Structure does not have to look the same for everyone, but everyone needs it. Hard Truths Chiropractors Need to Hear Stop pretending to be more successful than you are Stop copying practices that don't match your reality Stop forcing niches and patient types you don't enjoy Stop relying on motivation instead of discipline Honesty is the starting point for real progress. Practical Takeaways Be honest about your interests, skills, and opportunities Start from where you are, not where someone else is Learn principles and strategies, not just scripts Understand why something works so you can adapt when it stops working Show up prepared to think for yourself, not just follow instructions Final Thoughts You cannot start from a better place without first starting from where you are. Your choices are to start now or let things get worse and start later. Understanding principles, concepts, and strategies is far more valuable than blindly following a formula. When you know why something works, you gain the ability to adapt, adjust, and make better decisions over time. Play the hand you're dealt, build structure around it, stay consistent, and move forward.     Resources Mentioned • Rocket Chiro chiropractic websites and local SEO: https://rocketchiro.com/best-chiropractic-websites/ • Website and SEO review requests at RocketChiro.com: https://rocketchiro.com/contact/chiropractic-practice-assessment/ • NEXT Step chiropractic business coaching: https://rocketchiro.com/chiropractic-coaching/

I don't know if this episode is going to be for everyone, but if you're early on in your style journey, I still want you to pay attention. Because I'm talking about a trap that I see so many women fall into and I don't want this to happen to you!   You might be on a big quest to conquer your style — deep diving into color analysis and body typing, paying attention to what's "flattering" and "timeless," learning all the rules about what you're supposed to wear and what you're not. But slowly over time, what you might notice is that all of those style rules stack up.   What often happens is that you end up with this invisible rulebook running in the background every time you get dressed. You start writing off certain colors and limiting your options before you even try them on. And somewhere along the way, it becomes less about what you love and more about getting it "right." You've done all the work, but putting an outfit together feels more complicated than ever.   So today, I want to talk about what happens when you have all of these self-imposed style rules, why they're holding you back, and what to do when you know too much. I want to simplify the art and science of getting dressed so you can lean on your own intuition and feel excited and empowered when you open up your closet doors.   If you ask me, I think it's about time to unlearn a few things, my friend. Visibility isn't one-size-fits-all, even though the internet often makes it sound like it is.In this episode of Showing Up, I'm unpacking the four different Visibility Archetypes and why understanding yours can completely change the way you show up in your business. After working with thousands of business owners through photography, coaching, retreats and masterminds, I kept noticing the same thing: two people could follow the exact same visibility advice and have wildly different experiences. One would feel confident, grounded and aligned. The other would feel exposed, awkward or like they were performing. That difference isn't about willpower, confidence or knowing how to “do” social media properly. It's about how you're wired to show up.In this episode, I talk about:Why generic visibility advice so often falls flatThe patterns I kept seeing in how people respond to being visibleWhat's really going on beneath the surface when visibility feels hardThe four visibility archetypes and the hidden blocks that come with each oneHow this all links back to my SEEN framework and showing up in a way that feels sustainableMost people don't sit neatly in just one archetype. We move between them depending on the season we're in, our confidence levels and what's going on in our lives. The real value isn't in labelling yourself, but in understanding which pattern is driving your decisions right now, and what that means for your consistency, confidence and clarity. If visibility has ever felt exhausting, confusing or like you're doing all the “right” things but still not getting the results you want, this episode will help you see why.Take the Visibility QuizConnect with Vicki:Follow me on Instagram: @iamvickiknightsCheck out my websiteReady to work together?Book a branding photo shoot with meFind out about my visibility coachingFind out more about The Visibility Retreat Grab The Confidence Toolkit for just £15Get my self-paced course, UNCOVER YOUR MAGIC (Use the code SHOWING UP for 10% off)

About Dr. Noah St. JohnDr. Noah St. John is a globally recognized mindset and high-performance coach, keynote speaker, and best-selling author known for helping entrepreneurs grow revenue fast while reclaiming time and freedom. Often described as the “mental health coach to the stars” and the “Zero Friction Doctor,” Noah has worked with entrepreneurs, CEOs, athletes, and high-achieving professionals to eliminate mental roadblocks, break through income ceilings, and create meaningful results without burning out.His work is built on a breakthrough method he created in 1997 called Afformations a mindset tool that replaces forced positive statements with empowering questions designed to shift belief patterns and behavior. Instead of repeating “I am rich” while your brain argues back, Noah teaches people to ask, “Why am I so rich?” and let the mind begin searching for supportive answers. This simple shift has grown into a global movement of millions across more than 140 countries. At the heart of Noah's message is a practical idea: most people are trying to reach their goals with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake. He calls that brake “friction” or “head trash,” and his coaching focuses on removing it so progress becomes natural, faster, and sustainable.About this episodeIn this episode of the Matrix Green Pill Podcast, Hilmarie Hutchison speaks with Dr. Noah St. John about why so many driven entrepreneurs and leaders stay stuck despite working hard, setting goals, and following traditional success advice. Noah unpacks the moment that led him to create Afformations, a mindset method that replaces forced positive statements with empowering questions that the brain naturally engages with. The conversation explores his concept of “Zero Friction,” revealing how unconscious beliefs and mental habits act like an invisible brake on performance, income, and fulfillment. Noah shares real-world examples from his work with CEOs, founders, and high achievers, showing how removing internal friction can unlock rapid growth without burnout. This episode offers a fresh perspective on mindset, success, and what it really takes to create lasting breakthroughs in both business and life.Quotes2:40 - Now, I hated being poor. I hated that life of poverty because I saw that right down the street, there was great wealth and abundance.10:40 - Every business problem you're facing right now is a friction problem. That's why you need a zero friction solution. And that's why I'm called the zero friction doctor.14:39 - Your head trash is the invisible break that is in fact holding you back.17:55 - When it comes to the power habits of unconsciously successful people, one of them is in fact my affirmations method.21:47 - Time is the most valuable resource we have, but we never treat it that way.22:51 - If you're feeling imbalanced or you feel like, gee, I scored myself kind of low in one or more of these, that's where we need to get you some help.28:04 - We want to help people and change even more lives.29:40 - Gratitude. I always come back to gratitude. Just thanking God for the gifts of my life.30:00 - Focus on the positive and focus on what I want and what I have, it does take effort.30:36 - Trust yourself more, not to listen to all those gurus out there who tell you that you gotta chase all these shiny objects.31:09 - It's about what we're able to do for people and making sure that you become a blessing to others because the more you bless others, the more that you will be blessed in this liThe Matrix Green Pill Podcast: https://thematrixgreenpill.com/Please review us: https://g.page/r/CS8IW35GvlraEAI/review

What does your life look like when you're truly living out your identity in Christ? Are you becoming who you were created to be—or just living in the shadows of that calling? In this 'Average Joe' conversation, Pastor Jim Ramos sits down with longtime friend and fellow ministry leader Mike Riley to unpack what your identity in Christ really means. Not what you do. Not who you know. But who you are at your core—and how God actually sees you. Discover how fully understanding and embracing that identity can set you free, allowing the people around you to feel both the weight and the blessing of who God made you to be. Don't let the enemy strip you of your true identity. It's time to step off the bleachers, out of the shadows, and shine the way God designed you to. What if the reason you haven't reached your next level isn't strategy — but subconscious programming?  So many driven leaders do "all the right things," yet still feel stuck, unfulfilled, or disconnected from their purpose. The missing piece often lives beneath the surface. In this episode of The Business of You, we explore the powerful relationship between mindset, purpose, and success — and how rewriting the mental scripts formed early in life can radically change both your business and your personal fulfillment. Eli Bowman is a top-selling author, certified Aspire Tour Speaker, and 7-figure entrepreneur who scaled a startup to a multimillion-dollar valuation after transforming his own internal programming. As a certified expert in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Eli helps leaders identify unconscious beliefs and replace them with empowering frameworks rooted in authenticity and intention. In this episode, Eli breaks down how subconscious conditioning shapes outcomes, how to move through deconstruction without getting stuck, and how you can begin rewriting your own program. Understanding the Programs That Run Your Life Eli explains how our earliest experiences shape unconscious beliefs that quietly dictate our decisions, behaviors, and tolerance for risk. From birth through early childhood, the brain is highly impressionable — absorbing messages about safety, success, and self-worth that often remain unexamined well into adulthood. For entrepreneurs and leaders, these hidden programs can show up as fear of failure, chronic self-doubt, or resistance to growth. By developing awareness and learning to observe these patterns without judgment, leaders gain the power to choose differently — rather than repeating inherited scripts. Through neuro-linguistic programming, Eli shows how becoming conscious of these internal patterns is the first step toward reclaiming agency and building a future aligned with who you truly are. The Path of Purpose: From Deconstruction to Impact Eli introduces his framework, The Path of Purpose, guiding listeners through four stages: conformity, deconstruction, enlightenment, and impact. While deconstruction can feel uncomfortable — even painful — Eli reframes it as a necessary foundation for authenticity and lasting fulfillment. Rather than identifying with being "broken" or perpetually healing, Eli encourages completion — acknowledging past conditioning, releasing it, and consciously choosing new beliefs. This shift allows leaders to move forward with clarity, confidence, and creative energy. When purpose becomes clear, impact naturally follows. Eli's journey shows that fulfillment isn't found by chasing success — it's found by aligning internal truth with external action. Enjoy this episode with Eli Bowman… Soundbytes 15:28 – 15:56 "In order to really shed borrowed values, we have to go through a deconstruction period where we take everything apart. This can be really painful. This could look like rock bottom. It could look like despair. No one wants to experience that, but sometimes rock bottom isn't a place where you arrive — it's a foundation upon which you can build. For me, rock bottom was necessary." 35:48 – 36:35 "We create as we speak. Here's the framework I would give someone. The self-talk that we participate in must be positive, uplifting, hopeful, edifying, and creative — not destructive, not critical of ourselves. The way we talk about ourselves to ourselves is so powerful and it directly affects our day-to-day life. We say the words, or think them, to ourselves. Our unconscious mind retains that. And our unconscious mind is responsible for the patterns we live, day to day." Quotes "Rock bottom isn't where you end — it's where you rebuild." "We create as we speak." "Borrowed beliefs will always limit authentic success." "Your purpose is found when you choose who you are — not who you were told to be." Inside episode 88 of the EA Campus podcast, you'll hear a conversation many Executive Assistants will recognise, even if we've never quite named it before. In this episode, we're talking about perfectionism in the EA role. Where it comes from, how it quietly shows up in day-to-day work, and why it can start holding us back rather than helping us do better work.As EAs, we care deeply about standards, accuracy, and getting things right, because our work affects our Executive's time, priorities, and credibility. In The EA Campus Ep88, we explore how those high standards can slowly turn into overthinking, hesitation, and unnecessary pressure, especially when every task starts to carry the same emotional weight.Inside The EA Campus Ep88We talk through what perfectionism actually looks like in real EA work. From delaying low-risk decisions, to rechecking work late in the day, to holding things back for one more sense-check when the context is already there. This episode also looks at how judgement really develops in the role, not through getting everything right the first time, but through making decisions, seeing how they land, and adjusting next time.If you've ever felt tired by your own standards, or noticed that being “careful” sometimes slows things down more than it helps, The EA Campus Ep88 will feel familiar, practical, and reassuring. Learn more about Michael Wenderoth, Executive Coach: www.changwenderoth.com“If you want the social benefits of being authentic, how you feel inside may have very little to do with it.” At work, we like to believe we're evaluated on substance. In reality, we're constantly being judged on how we perform— how authentic we seem, how prepared we appear, and how natural we look like in our role. In this episode of 97% Effective, host Michael Wenderoth speaks with Alexa Samaniego, Presentation Coach and Doctoral Researcher at Stanford University, about how we judge performances and performers — and why those judgments matter far more than most people realize. Drawing from behavioral research, one-on-one presentation coaching, and her background in theater and the performing arts, Alexa challenges some of the most comforting things we believe (“just be yourself,” “don't over-rehearse,” “there's universal best practices for presenting”) and replaces them with a more honest view of how credibility, competence, and connection are actually earned. This is not an episode about becoming fake. But it will get you thinking differently about how you show up at work if you want to better influence outcomes. You'll leave this episode with a much more realistic understanding of how you're really judged — and how to work with that reality, rather than against it.SHOW NOTESAlexa's path from theater and the creative arts to doctoral research and presentation coachingHow her background in performance shapes the research questions she studiesWhat organizational behavior research looks like in practice: an overview of the PhD arcWhy most people under-rehearse presentations — despite clear benefits of repetitionWhy fear of “sounding fake” leads people to underperformAlexa's two distinct definitions of authenticity: authentic to self vs. authentic to roleWhy being perceived as authentic matters more than feeling authenticSpontaneity and consistency as two key drivers of being seen as authenticHow researchers measure authenticity and test perceptions in lab and field settingsThe uncomfortable truth: social benefits depend on how you come across, not how you feelWhy we are always playing roles at work — and why separating intentions from behaviors matters“It only feels inauthentic because it's not habitual yet”Insights from actors on how to step into a role without losing yourselfThe “outside-in” effect: how dress, voice, and physical behavior shape perceptionTradeoffs between authenticity, polish, and competence at workAlexa's third research stream: the double-edged sword of being (and looking) preparedWhen preparation signals competence — and when it backfires as “trying too hard”Why “everything depends”: how Alexa's coaching changed after doing her researchHow universal presentation advice can fail across gender, culture, and contextDrawing from the outside world: how Alexa's theater background differentiates her research lensHorror films, storytelling, and what they reveal about authenticity and self-expressionAlexa's hard truth: research is powerful, but techniques must be practiced before being used in high-stakes settings BIO AND LINKSAlexa Samaniego is a Presentation Coach and a doctoral researcher in Organizational Behavior (Micro) at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. There's a lot of advice out there. Much of it is well-intentioned but doesn't actually help you feel better. In this episode, we break down five wellness trends we are officially leaving behind as we move into 2026. These are the habits, mindsets, and messages that sound productive on the surface but often lead to stress, confusion, burnout, and paralysis. We unpack how tracking everything can disconnect you from your body, how cortisol panic has gone completely off the rails, how to recognize marketing traps, why hunger is not a badge of honor, and how over-researching keeps you stuck instead of moving. This conversation is about trusting your body, using awareness without obsession, choosing consistency over extremes, and remembering that action, not perfection, is what actually creates change. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by wellness culture, this episode will feel like a deep exhale.(00:00:48) Welcome back to the podcast(00:04:50) Today's topic: 5 Wellness Trends We're Dropping(00:07:30) Trend #5: Tracking Everything(00:19:50) Trend #4 Cortisol Panic(00:28:13) Trend #3 “Her” Programs(00:34:31) Trend #2 Hunger as Proof of Success(00:41:08) Trend #1 Researching Forever Acting Never(00:48:21) What we're taking into 2026 insteadWant to leave the TTSL Podcast a voicemail? From bringing energy into a room to following up with intention, this episode reframes networking as service, not collection.Emerick also shares how mentorship, discernment, and choosing the right environments have shaped his journey, along with the hard truth that not everyone in your circle is meant to stay. Marty Dubin: Blindspotting Martin Dubin is a clinical psychologist, serial entrepreneur, business coach, and adviser to C-suite executives and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. He has founded several companies, including a multimillion-dollar health-care company where he also served as CEO. He is the author of Blindspotting: How to See What's Holding You Back as a Leader (Amazon, Bookshop)*. Whenever I ask leaders, “What's getting in the way of you moving forward?” the most common answer I hear is, “Myself.” In this episode, Marty and I explore what's likely holding you back and how you can take the first steps to get traction. Key Points Many leaders don't recognize the need for change and succumb to an identity blindspot. You don't have to change your identity, but there's a mismatch between role and identity, that's a major problem. Shifting your identity is not changing who you are. Identities help us to sort through people and situations so we know who we are in relation to them. An identity that many have worked before can get in the way today. Common ones are: imposter, independent thinker, rule follower, unworthy, entitled, rebel, and peacemaker. Look back through your calendar over the past three months and determine how well your activities match up with the identity your role demands. Embody the new identity you are aiming to shift to, even if you're not yet feeling it. The Hidden Beliefs Quietly Holding You Back at Work

What if the very habits that made you successful are now the ones holding you back? In this episode of Hello Monday, host Jessi Hempel is joined by executive coach and leadership expert Muriel Wilkins to explore the hidden beliefs that quietly shape how we lead and make decisions. These “blocking beliefs”—like I need it done now, if I can do it, so can you—often begin as strengths. But over time, they can fuel burnout, micromanagement, and disengaged teams. Drawing from her new book, Leadership Unblocked, Muriel offers a practical framework for identifying the beliefs that no longer serve us and replacing them with more flexible, sustainable ways of leading—without losing ambition, standards, or control. Together, Jessi and Muriel unpack how leaders can expand their range, lead with greater ease, and grow their organizations by first growing themselves. In this conversation, you'll learn: What “blocking beliefs” are and how they develop over the course of a career A three-step process for uncovering, unpacking, and unblocking limiting beliefs Why urgency and perfectionism often undermine leadership effectiveness How the belief “I need it done now” contributes to burnout and unclear priorities How the truth of our external environment can be reframed in the narrative we tell ourselves How to stop micromanaging without sacrificing accountability We are no longer hosting weekly Office Hours but are thrilled to launch the Hello Monday Book Club.
