In this special paranormal only episode of TCPM, we discuss the lore of the "slit mouth woman" and share with you a fictional audio drama based on that lore. In the early 1980s, unexplainable tragedy strikes the family of a young girl. Hours later, the same unexplainable tragedy strikes the family of a young man. One by one, seven people fall victim to an invisible killer and a nation is plunged into terror as officials race to identify the source of a deadly toxin. Finding the source of the toxin actually leads to far more questions than answers in a case that has baffled investigators for nearly three decades.

Some people love to travel and experience new places during their lifetime. Today, we talk about Elmer McCurdy. Elmer lead a life of crime that eventually lead to his death, but that wasn't the end of Elmer's story... it was actually the beginning. Elmer's story will take us to both sides of the United States in a tale so crazy you have to hear it to believe it! The Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City has a rich history. In our paranormal segment, we are going to tell you about Effie. According to legend, Effie met a tragic fate at the Skirvin Hotel and she still roams the halls... and rooms to this day.

In the early morning hours of May 24, 1987; Kenneth Parks rose from his couch, got into his car, and drove to his in-laws' house. When he arrived, he carried out a vicious attack that left his mother-in-law lifeless and his father-in-law with injuries though he did survive. What seems like an open and shut case takes an unbelievable turn when Kenneth claims that he was asleep during the entire ordeal. The jury believed him. Many experts believe him. Once you hear his story, you might just believe him too. Sleep paralysis is a terrifying experience especially if the person experiencing it does not know what is happening. Science offers plenty of explanations as to why sleep paralysis occurs, but is it possible that the cause of sleep paralysis cannot be explained by science? Could it have another, much more sinister origin? We discuss all things sleep paralysis in our paranormal segment... with a bonus discussion of death by nightmare!

We have all had a time in our lives where we wanted to be part of a group. For Anthony Ault, the desire to join a group by any means necessary proves to lead to a dangerous path from which he may never return. This story begins at a carnival in Auburn, Indiana and ends at an "initiation" to a Satanic Cult. In our jam-packed paranormal segment, we build on last week's interview with Alex as we discuss out of body experiences and astral projection. We discuss what can lead to these things occurring, both on purpose and not so on purpose, which leads us to a discussion about near death experiences as well.

Blair Adams was a normal guy living a normal life, when he suddenly became engulfed in the fear that someone was going to kill him. Belle would continue to weave her web of deceit while building a worth of millions until the day she was killed in a house fire... or was she? We are going to discuss it in our paranormal segment as well as the different ways to "play" Bloody Mary and the terrifying events that might follow.

When the Queen Mary was being constructed for the purpose of luxurious vacations, few could have fathomed that it would be repurposed as a warship... but that's exactly what happened. The Queen Mary is now a hotel for both history buffs and paranormal enthusiasts because sometimes what happens at sea reveals itself in the most mysterious ways.

The rabbit hole gets deeper. In part 2 of our look at the disappearance of Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible, we are going to cross the paths of serial killers (yes, plural!), drug dealers, and just all around horrible people as the search for the truth and for two missing girls continues. All choices have consequences and we will come to find that the choices made early on in this investigation lead to the worst consequences imaginable. As a follow-up to our discussion about haunted items, we have our first ever listener story from Hilliary who joined us to tell her story in her own words. Hilliary's story is extra creepy and reaffirms our stance on buying antiques!

On December 29th, 1999 Lauria Bible spent the night at her best friend, Ashley Freeman's home for Ashley's sweet 16. What started out as a birthday celebration ended in tragedy when the Freeman home burned to the ground.
