Sometimes it's implicit, sometimes it's explicit, but almost EVERY time is strategic and intentional. Black women are subjected to being forced into subordinate roles in comparison to their male counterparts--heck, some cannot even be next to a man on the pulpit. Comparisons equivalent to that of wicked, seductive, and manipulative. It is demanded that women stay in their roles-- especially in church. But-- I believe enough is enough!
